This perspective is ultimatly a set back. in a way you are being possesive about your process, but in last instance you will still have to let that go. Sin is our evil selfish desire. Jesus paid the price for us on the cross; Jesus is God in the flesh. None of us could survive his judgement, which is why he sent Jesus for us. By believing in Jesus Christ, God shows us mercy. When we believe in Jesus Christ, we become children of God. Evil can not reign forever, it will be judged, sadly we all have evil in our hearts, and that's why we turn to Jesus Christ.
