i absolutely adored this reading vlog!! (reading vlogs are my fav & always inspire me to read💓✨) - but now i really wanna reread ava lavender 🙈 i dunno why but i feel like you’ve grown in this video, like more confidence, idk, but i felt like a proud proud proud fan 😭💫 hope you’re having a lovely day❤️
This was one of the most relaxing reading vlogs I've ever seen. You have the perfect balance of talking and aesthetics! My favorite read this BTAT was Wonder Woman Vol. 4: Godwatch.I'm really digging the way they've updated Diana's backstory in the Rebirth line.
I read Sweet Bean Paste during booktubeathon and seriously I'm sure you'll love it. The opening sentence mentions cherry blossom trees and the book is set in a Japanese pancake bakery. Also the cover is gorgeous 💖 when I was reading I was just constantly thinking "sure Emma will love this!" [:
The audio book is the American edition, and the book is the British version. They changed a lot from the British version when they translated the book to the American version. Sorcerer’s Stone published by Scholastics, audio book read by Jim Dale, is all the American editions. Philosopher’s Stone published by Bloomsbury, audio book read by Stephen Fry is all the British versions. You might know this but, this is why the audio book and the book are different.
Hey love your channel, I watch you religiously. The differences between the audiobook of Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone and the physical copy of the new Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone are for two reasons. One being that the physical copy will be the British version of Harry Potter while the audiobook is the American. So there are some differences to appeal to the different uses of words used in the slightly different versions of English and cultures are a big factor. This can be shown when referring to clothing and other stuff like the sweets you noticed. The second reason is that the audiobook was recorded years ago and as new copies of Harry Potter have been released some changes have been made from the original copy. This can explain the lack of Dean in the physical copy you have (I do think it’s weird though). Anyway, I loved this vlog, booktube-a-thon is so much fun; I agree it is a perfect time to read the books you’ve been neglecting and been wanting to read for a long time. Or even to reread some old favourites. Much love from England.
im soso glad u had a great booktubeathon week !! i only read two books, but it definitely has gotten me into reading again after a long slumpp 🍵🌫️ hope you have a great rest of ur dayy/nightt
I really emjoyed this video. I love watching your vlogs 😍😍. I read the Raven Cycle on booktubeathon week. Or actually i haven't got to the last book but i really enjoyed the first three 😍😍.
i’m excited to get to city of ghosts when it comes out! coincidentally i read both furthermore and vicious during booktubeathon and a mash of the two sounds great! i also just bought the first volume of dreamin sun so i’m definitely gonna have to remember this moment so that when i get to that volume i don’t mix up the characters lol 😂
M favorite read during booktubeathon was definitely The Poppy War by R F Kuang, it was AMAZING. Ahhhh Emma I highly recommend it, I think you'd love it! Also, you're lovely and your aesthetic is literal goals:)
Oh god, "the girl from the other side" ! I want to read it so much. I have to get this book ! (Sorry if I make mistakes, I'm french ^^)I love your videos ! You are awesome ! 😄
Okay, so this video just popped up and I’ve never watched your channel before (but I’ve loved this vlog omg) but can I just say you remind me so much of Jane Bennet in the RUclips web series Lizzie Bennet Diaries ☺️😍
In two of my Philisopher's stone versions it says: "And now there were only three people left to be sorted. "Thomas, Dean," a Black boy even taller than Ron, joined Harry at the Gryffindor table" It must be a 20th anniversary thing
Yeah, I think the stuff like mint humbugs to peppermints was maybe just like Americanising the book and then maybe the republication into Sorerer's Stone was utilised to change a few things?
My reccomendation of what you should do for the rest of the day is speaking in a fashion that doesn't require video cuts in the middle of words. Also, I'm sorry you had to read Harry Potter. My condolences.
You describing city of ghosts as furthermore meets vicious makes me even MORE excited to read it ahh!!😍
Instablaster...
