I love hearing other people talk about their Hogwarts house because it's so interesting to see how very different people end up in the same house and how even if you don't initially seem like you'd belong in a specific house, sometimes you end up in it. I'm a Ravenclaw, by the way. 💙
Most people in my life assume i'm a Hufflepuff even though i'm a Slytherin. I'm SUPER competitive as well. It gets to the point where I won't play a game BECAUSE I don't want to lose.
As a Ravenclaw, I can totally relate!! (Especially with quizzes because out of nervosity I might not remember the answer and it freaks me out so I avoid those ;D) However, most of the time I try to downplay the importance of winning and don't show how much I do actually wanna win and if I dont get first place I strive for second best at least haha ;)

Great video! Slytherin here as well. It's taken me a while to come to terms with being a Slytherin and realizing that I really do belong in this house. The biggest traits that I connect with are the adaptiveness and resourcefulness. The way I see it, Slytherins are the ones that can "master" the traits of the other three houses and bring them together to truly be great. It allows you to harness the aspects of the other houses and use them whenever the situation calls for it. Being able to pull from all of the houses can really make you unstoppable.
UUh, a Slytherin character I find very interesting because she doesn't fit the stereotype of an "evil" Slytherin at all is Andromeda Tonks (born Black) because whilst she was part of the Black family, thereore being a "pure-blood", and got sorted into Slytherin she ended up loving and marrying a Muggle and she joined the Order of the Phoenix! I love how that shows that a house doesn't determine who you're going to turn out as a human person but might just demonstrate some of the qualities you have (such as being ambitious and driven). :)
Emma you and I are personality twins. I’m also a happy person who loves pink and yellow and all the good stuff but I’m a hardcore Slytherin. I identified as a Ravenclaw for the longest time until I took the Pottermore quiz again and got Slytherin. Everyone I knew said that this was accurate that I am a Slytherin. So now I’ve accepted it and I am a very content Slytherin who still has some allegiance to Ravenclaw. I’m also INFJ!!

I am a Ravenclaw and even before pottermore and all of the quizes I know I was going to be a Ravenclaw. Part of it is because I truly feel like ravenclaw are not only fairly driven and always working toward knowledge as the main goal of anything they do, because that is their best weapon and what they are great at, but also because in my opinion they are very dual. One can learn and use all that to be good and spread knowledge and make things better, and one can use the term "knowledge is power" literaly and contribute to negative stuff. I feel like I have a lot of that on me, both of those parts. Also of course I love reading and studying and being creative is a great part of me.
I've been sorted into Hufflepuff ever since I was little and I used to hate it but now I'm like ...it's me tho. But I took a quiz about what my combination of houses would be and I got Slytherpuff and I feel like it's SO true. I identify with a lot of Slytherin but I'm still a Hufflepuff gal at heart. I'm also an INFJ and I know you are too (and many of your subscribers)!!! I feel like Hogwarts houses, MBTI, and astrology signs can be good indicators of personality and it's so fun to talk about :') Loved this video!!!
This is incredible. I'm also a Slytherin and I retook the test 3 more times and I got Slytherin every single time and I was in denial. It took me a while to accept that I was slytherin because I thought all of them were evil. I now see myelf in a lot of the slyhtherin trait's and I'm now very very proud to be slytherin :) thaniks for this
Gryffindor!❤️ Glad you made this video because I had a hard time seeing Slytherin traits in you but this explained a lot! It's definitely important, I believe, to have others comment on your house since they often see things we can't but INFJ's know themselves very well (thankfully my whole family and best friends pegged me as Gryffindor too😅) I actually had a long discussion about houses with my best friend a few days ago and I was excited when I saw this video!
omg this video was made for me. I always thought myself as a gryffindor but then I took the pottermore test and I got slytherin. I took the test like 7 times, but I would still deny it. But now I am starting to accept the possibity of being a slytherin, or even a gryffindor-slytherin (a hybrid) because I still feel I have a lot in common with gryffindor and don’t really identify 100% with the slytherin traits.
So interesting. I really like how boldly and proudly you speak about your traits. I have been a Gryffindor for years but recently it seems (and Pottermore agrees) that I am more of a Ravenclaw. My boyfriend used to be a Slytherin and now he is a Ravenclaw too. I can totally see some Slytherin traits in hin that you mentioned and they are great! I love him for said qualities. For instance, the loyalty to friends who deserve it. I tend to be a blind-loyal and he helps me to put perspective.

Not in a complete asshole selfish way, but a self intuitive way. You're striving for yourself above everyone. I too know what I want and how I should go after it, I just don't always do that. So I guess I surprise people when I say I'm a slytherin, because I don't often exhibit the traits. -shrugs- I also relate to that ment on the leader/follower thing. the same! I'm an INFJ and I often get told by everyone and everything that I should be in Hufflepuff but I'm not thaaat good and fair. Like if I see that someone I don't know or don't like is in need of help, I can easily pass by because I don't want to help literally anyone, no! I'm quite selective and if I do help, I often wait for something like gratitude or help back which is not what a true Hufflepuff would do. But I'm not competitive like a true Slytherin should be.. so I just don't know. As an INFJ I don't fit anywhere and Hogwarts Houses are no exception:(((

I am a Hufflepuff! Through and through. I honestly thought you were Hufflepuff too but after seeing this video I definitely understand your wonderful Slytherin traits too. And I appreciate them, the fact that you strive and strive to do things well is the reason I highly enjoy your content.
I think what's so interesting about Hogwarts houses in particular, ist that I often think about the "negative" side of these traits and if I actually see a small part of myself in them. Generally, I find it very hard to actually determine who might belong to which house with other people (not myself) simply because the houses do overlap at some points and people are three-dimensional...I often explain that Gryffindore is the house I'm least likely to be put into because I do not see myself in the "negative" traits. Gryffindores are brave and yes, I have my brave moments but at the same time they can be overestimating their abilities because of their bravery and get into traps more easily by not thinking their next move through - I'm way too cautious a person for that. However, Hufflepuffs being loyal and hardworking and all, they can also at times naively forget they might be too trusting to some people and that is where I see myself in especially. Of course, the positive traits also apply but with thinking about the negative side of them, I can more easily figure out in how far I or anyone else fits into a house. Ravenclaws are driven by gaining knowledge and understanding but they can turn out to be arrogant based on their "superior" knowledge or being cleverer than anybody else or too focused on studying to realise there is more to life - and once again, I could see myself in that position even though it's not a nice feature of myself and I'm constantly trying to purposefully avoid that. With Gryffindore being the house I can see myself the least in, I sometimes consider myself a Ravenslytherpuff because I have strong positive traits and well, "flaws", really, from all these three houses combined. Slytherins are always described as cunning, driven and ambitious and in themselves those traits don't have to be bad at all, like you mentioned, the only thing is that there is the possibility of being overly cunning, driven and ambitious. I can stronly identifiy with being overly ambitious regarding those big goals unrealisitically out of reach or sometimes wanting too many things at the same time but that's also where some self-control comes into play. I'm a Ravenclaw by the way with very very strong Slytherin tendencies because I figured whilst I do have the tendency to go all Syltheirn in my head sometimes (simply dreaming a little too big for the moment) I've always been more focused on striving to understand our world and continuously learn about both interesting and not-so-interesting-but-relevant stuff and kept my overly ambitious side in check. But I'm also proud of my small Hufflepuff and Gryffindore moments (here goes naive and too trusting with brave)! :) Sorry for the long comment :D

I’ve taken the pottermore test multiple times too and I’ve gotten a mix of Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, and have even gotten Hufflepuff but I definitely think I’m more Ravenclaw out of the bunch haha
So I've been taking the Pottermore/Time sorting quiz a lot lately, and I've gotten Slytherin 90% of the time. It's interesting to me, because before that, I'd always be either a Gryffindor or Ravenclaw. And people usually think I'm most likely a Hufflepuff, when I'm the lowest percentage of that house. I'm a Type 4, the "Romantic", which I'm not sure lines up, but it's interesting to see someone (you) having the same sort of temperament as me and being the same house! I'm having an identity crisis because I've always thought that Slytherins were manipulative and cunning and generally something that I'm not, but I possess a lot of traits so I think it's accurate. I'm a slytherin too! Everyone always assumes in Ravenclaw and I do have some of those qualities as well but I definitely lean more towards the slytherin side of things! My eanagram type is 1 and 5. I got the exact same mark for both!
I'm not Slytherin but I'm Hufflepuff and even tho I'm very VERY proud of it, I don't like that it's most of the time reduced as the Cinnamon Roll house. I think Cedric Diggory for one (besides Newt Scamander) is a very strong Hufflepuff character with strong bad-ass moments besides fairness and friendliness!! :)

I’m also a Slytherin! When I was first sorted I was completely mortified, but when I read the description of what makes a Slytherin a Slytherin I completely accepted my identity 😂 it said they were fiercely protective of the ones they love. Every house has their flaws and sadly Slytherins have been made famous for their worse trait. I totally agree that we have all of the traits from the other houses and I think that I what makes us the best 🤗 I could go on and on about why I am proud to be a Slytherin!

I kind of think that when you get sorted into a house at Hogwarts that you might be a bit young, because your personality is growing and changing rapidly each day so at 11 I might have been a Slytherin but now I'm a Hufflepuff.
I had a similar situation happen with the Pottermore site. I took the test when I was younger and got Gryffindor but then when I took it again waaay later I got Hufflepuff 💛 and I'm so happy I did because I relate to it soo much more!

I struggled with being a Slytherin at first as well, I think it's the most misrepresented house in Harry Potter, they're just said to be evil... I actually read an interview of J. K. Rowling saying how one of the traits she hates the most in people in general is having "too much ambition" so I guess it explains why she portrayed Slytherins the way she did but I'm still not really happy about it x) I too have all the traits of a Slytherin haha

Looove this video! I am a Hufflepuff! I tried the sorting hat test when it came out and got Hufflepuff but wasn’t excited about it since they kinda get a bad rep. Then i did the test again and got ravenclaw. But that didn’t really feel like me. So i did the test a couple more times and got Hufflepuff every single time. I am so happy to be a Hufflepuff now. It just suites me so well o find.

Huffleclaw here. Literally took the test like 15 times at varying points in my life (took about 3-5 differing tests per time I did that) and got like 8 raven claw and 7 Hufflepuff soo.... I don't know what to tell you honestly. I don't do very well with horoscopey types of tests, and generally just live my life separately from everything else. I'm like that one person who never hangs out with anyone but could if they called someone but just doesn't because they're genuinely happier alone and sad... So yeah.... That's fun. Used to be a straight A student, now I'm in college and have realized the bliss and true value of a B. And now I'm here on the little old internet pretending like the outside world doesn't exist because it sucks.
i took the pottermore test two times and on the first try, i got hufflepuff and on the second try, i got ravenclaw! it was really confusing but i guess im a ravenpuff! tho i try not to focus myself on one house because humans are really complex with different types of traits and personalities

I just want to be divergent and have traits of all the houses :), the 16personalities test i took said i was a mediator or INFP, but as of right now i havent done much research into that personality so i dont know if its correct, even tho i took that test about 3 times and got the same result lol, i should probably take other tests too Oh but there was a test for house sorting that i took one time that showed the percent of what house u were and i pretty much got about 30% of Ravenclaw, Slytherin, and Gryffindor (but the rankings were in the order i listed) and like 10% Hufflepuff, but the Pottermore test sorted me into Gryffindor and Thunderbird, but all my friends say im a Ravenclaw lol (i also lost my Pottermore password XD)

Great video! Slytherin here as well. It's taken me a while to come to terms with being a Slytherin and realizing that I really do belong in this house. The biggest traits that I connect with are the adaptiveness and resourcefulness. The way I see it, Slytherins are the ones that can "master" the traits of the other three houses and bring them together to truly be great. It allows you to harness the aspects of the other houses and use them whenever the situation calls for it. Being able to pull from all of the houses can really make you unstoppable.
UUh, a Slytherin character I find very interesting because she doesn't fit the stereotype of an "evil" Slytherin at all is Andromeda Tonks (born Black) because whilst she was part of the Black family, thereore being a "pure-blood", and got sorted into Slytherin she ended up loving and marrying a Muggle and she joined the Order of the Phoenix! I love how that shows that a house doesn't determine who you're going to turn out as a human person but might just demonstrate some of the qualities you have (such as being ambitious and driven). :)

I am a Ravenclaw and even before pottermore and all of the quizes I know I was going to be a Ravenclaw. Part of it is because I truly feel like ravenclaw are not only fairly driven and always working toward knowledge as the main goal of anything they do, because that is their best weapon and what they are great at, but also because in my opinion they are very dual. One can learn and use all that to be good and spread knowledge and make things better, and one can use the term "knowledge is power" literaly and contribute to negative stuff. I feel like I have a lot of that on me, both of those parts. Also of course I love reading and studying and being creative is a great part of me.
I've been sorted into Hufflepuff ever since I was little and I used to hate it but now I'm like ...it's me tho. But I took a quiz about what my combination of houses would be and I got Slytherpuff and I feel like it's SO true. I identify with a lot of Slytherin but I'm still a Hufflepuff gal at heart. I'm also an INFJ and I know you are too (and many of your subscribers)!!! This is incredible. I'm also a Slytherin and I retook the test 3 more times and I got Slytherin every single time and I was in denial. It took me a while to accept that I was slytherin because I thought all of them were evil. I now see myelf in a lot of the slyhtherin trait's and I'm now very very proud to be slytherin :) thaniks for this

omg this video was made for me. I always thought myself as a gryffindor but then I took the pottermore test and I got slytherin. I took the test like 7 times, but I would still deny it. But now I am starting to accept the possibity of being a slytherin, or even a gryffindor-slytherin (a hybrid) because I still feel I have a lot in common with gryffindor and don’t really identify 100% with the slytherin traits.
So interesting. I really like how boldly and proudly you speak about your traits. I have been a Gryffindor for years but recently it seems (and Pottermore agrees) that I am more of a Ravenclaw. My boyfriend used to be a Slytherin and now he is a Ravenclaw too. I can totally see some Slytherin traits in hin that you mentioned and they are great! I love him for said qualities. For instance, the loyalty to friends who deserve it. I tend to be a blind-loyal and he helps me to put perspective.

the same! I'm an INFJ and I often get told by everyone and everything that I should be in Hufflepuff but I'm not thaaat good and fair. Like if I see that someone I don't know or don't like is in need of help, I can easily pass by because I don't want to help literally anyone, no! I'm quite selective and if I do help, I often wait for something like gratitude or help back which is not what a true Hufflepuff would do. I am a Hufflepuff! Through and through. I honestly thought you were Hufflepuff too but after seeing this video I definitely understand your wonderful Slytherin traits too. And I appreciate them, the fact that you strive and strive to do things well is the reason I highly enjoy your content.
I think what's so interesting about Hogwarts houses in particular, ist that I often think about the "negative" side of these traits and if I actually see a small part of myself in them. Generally, I find it very hard to actually determine who might belong to which house with other people (not myself) simply because the houses do overlap at some points and people are three-dimensional...I often explain that Gryffindore is the house I'm least likely to be put into because I do not see myself in the "negative" traits. Gryffindores are brave and yes, I have my brave moments but at the same time they can be overestimating their abilities because of their bravery and get into traps more easily by not thinking their next move through - I'm way too cautious a person for that. However, Hufflepuffs being loyal and hardworking and all, they can also at times naively forget they might be too trusting to some people and that is where I see myself in especially. Of course, the positive traits also apply but with thinking about the negative side of them, I can more easily figure out in how far I or anyone else fits into a house. Ravenclaws are driven by gaining knowledge and understanding but they can turn out to be arrogant based on their "superior" knowledge or being cleverer than anybody else or too focused on studying to realise there is more to life - and once again, I could see myself in that position even though it's not a nice feature of myself and I'm constantly trying to purposefully avoid that. With Gryffindore being the house I can see myself the least in, I sometimes consider myself a Ravenslytherpuff because I have strong positive traits and well, "flaws", really, from all these three houses combined. Slytherins are always described as cunning, driven and ambitious and in themselves those traits don't have to be bad at all, like you mentioned, the only thing is that there is the possibility of being overly cunning, driven and ambitious. I can stronly identifiy with being overly ambitious regarding those big goals unrealisitically out of reach or sometimes wanting too many things at the same time but that's also where some self-control comes into play.
I'm a Ravenclaw by the way with very very strong Slytherin tendencies because I figured whilst I do have the tendency to go all Syltheirn in my head sometimes (simply dreaming a little too big for the moment) I've always been more focused on striving to understand our world and continuously learn about both interesting and not-so-interesting-but-relevant stuff and kept my overly ambitious side in check.
But I'm also proud of my small Hufflepuff and Gryffindore moments (here goes naive and too trusting with brave)! :)

I always wanted to be Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff and so I answered the Test, knowing that these answers make me sorted in Hufflepuff/Ravenclaw. And in one night I saw your video and my best friend looked at me and said:"You are a total Slytherin!". First I was like "nah i like helping and baking and green and winning and planning and achieving my goals and and and. So same. I love how similar we are. I feel understood.

So I've been taking the Pottermore/Time sorting quiz a lot lately, and I've gotten Slytherin 90% of the time. It's interesting to me, because before that, I'd always be either a Gryffindor or Ravenclaw. And people usually think I'm most likely a Hufflepuff, when I'm the lowest percentage of that house. I'm a Type 4, the "Romantic", which I'm not sure lines up, but it's interesting to see someone (you) having the same sort of temperament as me and being the same house! I'm having an identity crisis because I've always thought that Slytherins were manipulative and cunning and generally something that I'm not, but I possess a lot of traits so I think it's accurate. When I was first sorted I was completely mortified, but when I read the description of what makes a Slytherin a Slytherin I completely accepted my identity 😂 it said they were fiercely protective of the ones they love. Every house has their flaws and sadly Slytherins have been made famous for their worse trait. I kind of think that when you get sorted into a house at Hogwarts that you might be a bit young, because your personality is growing and changing rapidly each day so at 11 I might have been a Slytherin but now I'm a Hufflepuff.

Looove this video! I am a Hufflepuff! I tried the sorting hat test when it came out and got Hufflepuff but wasn’t excited about it since they kinda get a bad rep. Then i did the test again and got ravenclaw. But that didn’t really feel like me. So i did the test a couple more times and got Hufflepuff every single time. I am so happy to be a Hufflepuff now. It just suites me so well o find.

Huffleclaw here. Literally took the test like 15 times at varying points in my life (took about 3-5 differing tests per time I did that) and got like 8 raven claw and 7 Hufflepuff soo.... I don't know what to tell you honestly. I don't do very well with horoscopey types of tests, and generally just live my life separately from everything else. I'm like that one person who never hangs out with anyone but could if they called someone but just doesn't because they're genuinely happier alone and sad... So yeah.... That's fun. I just want to be divergent and have traits of all the houses :), the 16personalities test i took said i was a mediator or INFP, but as of right now i havent done much research into that personality so i dont know if its correct, even tho i took that test about 3 times and got the same result lol, i should probably take other tests too

Why do you think most ballet dancers are Slytherin? PM originally sorted me into Gryff but in their 2.0 version I got Claw. I'm Canadian & I'd love to take you on in air hockey. Claw FTW!
