oh man, i love 'a discovery of witches' - i was gifted the entire trilogy a few years back and i basically didn't move until i'd finished them all. now that i'm thinking about it... i should probably reread them soon. harry potter as well. i didn't know there was a tv show for it though - i'm definitely going to have to look into it!! this year, i'm reading one monster book a week in celebration of october - dracula, frankenstein, the witches, and interview with the vampire. i'm quite excited :'o)

I just finished reading A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara. That book left me traumatized. The book was great but it is very depressing, intense, and heartbreaking. You have to be emotionally strong to read A Little Life. I am currently reading a nonfiction book called Confessions of a Sociopath, A Life Spent Hiding in Plain Sight by M.E.Thomas. It's very interesting and makes me understand the mind of a sociopath. I am almost finished with the book. I can't wait to go book shopping this week. I am going to the Strand bookstore in Manhatthan. I think my next read is The Book Thief or I am the Message by Markus Zusak but who knows. lol : )

In my personal opinion, I don't think that reading a fictional novel about witches will challenge your faith. The book is not trying to convert you. Read whatever interests you. If you start to read it and it makes you uncomfortable then feel free to stop. Hope that helps!
