- This is a quick chest opening yoga wheel video. It's definitely ideal to do if you're tight through the chest, shoulders, and upper back area. I am using a large yoga wheel for this practice, and you can find it here: amzn.to/2qPfls8. As always, move within a pain-free range.

Wow that 5 minutes goes by so fast at the end!!
Loved this. Thank you
Thanks!!
I loved it! Please do more videos with the yoga wheel.
Hey quick question. I workout and do sport grappling but I've always lacked flexibility. I've recently got into yoga and your videos to try and open my hips and I try to do yoga about 2-3 times a week. But here recently it seems as if I have gotten tighter instead more loose. Is this normal and if not am I doing something wrong? If you could give feedback that'd be clutch.
Hey Tyler - flexibility is just one of those things that takes time. Maybe instead of doing a full yoga practice 2 - 3 times a week try doing even just ten minutes 4 - 5 times per week? See if that helps?
Yoga by Candace thank you. I was thinking maybe I'm working too much on trying to open the muscles that I might not be giving them enough time to recover. But I figured I'd ask someone who would know better than me since I'm still new. Love your videos though they've been helpful.
Hey ! Thank you for this video I just did it and I have a quick question. I just bought my wheel and every time I use it I feel like it's really painful to lay on it, even if it's not completely on my back.
I have not a flexible back and I think that's why. But do you think it's normal at the beginning to feel painful ?
You never want to feel pain. Discomfort is ok, but pain is not. If it's painful, back off and see if you can go to a yoga studio and ask a yoga teacher to watch you in person use it - the teacher may spot a quick fix that will help you to not feel pain. If it's just discomfort, breathe through it and it'll pass as you open up I'd think.
Yoga by Candace thank you for your advice ! And yes I meant discomfort not pain 😊
Hello, I also have a quick question. I am a college athlete who foam rolls and practices yoga a little everyday. I have very very mild scoliosis (the curve in my back is not that bad at all), but I would like to work on my rounded posture & tight back more. I want to buy a yoga wheel & I see they make different sizes. I'm 6 ft 0 inches tall. Would a 12" wheel work, or would I have to purchase a larger one? Thank you for any help & all your awesome videos!
The bigger you go, the less of a stretch through the chest you'd get. I'd get a medium one or a stability ball would be great as well for opening up through the chest. In addition, you'll probably want to work on core strength to help support yourself sitting and standing tall.
Yoga by Candace awesome! Thank you for the help i truly appreciate your response!
Good video. Can dace where can I get the wheel?
Here ya go: amzn.to/2rA25Zk
