I'm a fan on the folding ones for grab bags or compact setups. I dislike when they complcate these with mostly useless functions. The ones with the basic shape are ussaly the winner. We do have the comb style while painting around bit it mostly gets used as a paint can opener. The one I like for quick grab bags is the Hyde dual blade 5 in 1 has a flexible puddy knife on it along with the painters tool. The only thing you give up on that one is the hammer end and slick platic handle. If I'm doing enough of that work I'm not using a quick grab tool anyways 🤷. If I'm in a pinch need it today lowes has Warner made in usa in stock of puddy/painters tools. Besides the Hyde dual blade one I highly recommend allex puddy knives. They are made in Japan some are so flexible you can almost make the letter c with them. They are stainless with the made in usa at lowes are high carbon so you have to clean them well. The Allen are available on usa az for 7 to 12 bucks each as cheap as store brands and incredible quality full tang. The only compromise is a grippy hard plastic handle but to be fair not many option offer anything but hard plastic. Thanks for doing a video on such a simple tool!
@@MattHmm-rq6dn I like the Hyde dual blade super cool idea I like that and also very handy ……. I honestly only use it as a scraper ……. I know Allex make great scissors going to look at there putty knives now.
