    Interesting the thumbnail looks like you took it apart and it's pretty interesting idea to run it without the tools. I didn't use mine as much as I was thinking I would. I found better ways to have bits in more compact form. It's definitely a great ikea assembly all in one or a glove box car kit. The bits are great quality I tend to gravitate towards vessel myself. On my kit I did end up removing the plastic ri et holding the bit handle on the side to make the kit more compact. Neat idea with using the case for increased leverage.

    How studly of you 😆. I haven't seen the studbuddy pro yet look serviceable. I tried the studball and kinda went back to my go too Vaughan/ch Hanson magnetic stud finder. It's small clips onto the mag with a carabiner not just magnetic. The built in level that can rotate works great. On the side d ring of my veto bags it helps hold all the bit holders and other random useful stuff into a clump not rattling around. Serves many purposes and for digital stuff finders I like the Franklin ones where there's 5 or more lights on the face of it. Each light is 1/2in so 3 lights is a stud 2 lights is a pipe. Though not as important they lower end models are actually made in the USA. I find the digital stud finder from the brand you showed to not always be correct. One trick I also use before I drill a hole even with a stud finder saying it's good to go I take a installation support rod (in 100 packs at big box stores 10 bucks) and poke a hole ones sharp others blunt. That will also confirm if you safe or not also use the rods (1/16th in thick tempered hardened spring steel) to poke walls on opposite side of walls or poke holes in ceilings to find where that is in a attic or wall (other side). You can also put them directly into a drill chuck and use them as a flexible drill bit too or poke caulk tube's so many uses. Regardless check out the ch Hanson/Vaughan and the Franklin stud finders they may be your new favorite!

    Great new channel, I love it. I like seeing how the tools are actually used. I was in the process of collecting all the remaining “Malco Eagle Grip” locking pliers but I’m trying to think of instances when I would use them but since I’m not a welder I can’t think of too many that a woodworking vise wouldn’t work well for? Do you happen to know what applications very good quality Vice grips might be good for? Thanks Newman.

      @@blacksheepbear6382 great I am glad you like it ……. I personally very rarely use a locking pliers I just don’t never been a huge fan but from what I hear the Eagle grips are the ones to get. • @MattHmm-rq6dn
      @MattHmm-rq6dn 23 часа назад

      I commonly use vice grips (yes eagle grips) to hold screw/bolt heads to cut them down with a portaband. Sometimes it's angle iron aluminum track closet rail or rod. A handle on the material that I don't have to keep pressure on is a good thing.

If i understand correctly, there are no strips in the center, only the outside perimeter of the board? Seems well lite everywhere though. Was it difficult to handle the turns? You did not mention any cutting, 90° degrees connectors, etc. Lastly, the magnetic strips are holding up well? A huge thank you again for taking the time to explain your process. I fell like I could surface engine block with them they are that rough and it's a good thing. They clean tools exceptionally well. I love picks like that but most of them break for me. I buy the harborfreight ones since they have a lifetime warranty for general purposes. I like the hf picks too for scraping moss off roofs and then when they are worn down I warranty them out over and over. The best pick I've had and can't break is made by ullman it's No.1810. I do use packout but rarely the full height ones. I have some for pro press fittings and electrical but that's exactly the way I want them and adding more sepraton wouldn't help. Shallow half size are my bread and butter for packout. I do see the appeal in this for sure and it's good they came up with something for the dead space in thr middle. That would drive me nuts!

      I love the packout stuff too I have almost every size. They are very user friendly and I love to be organized so they work great for me ……. I like the small ones also they are good for individual tools each one has their own place. I can’t wait for all the accessories that are at pipeline to come out.

      Agree. For small parts the half depth packouts are the way to go. I want all my small parts on top and visible. Not having to dig through bins to find stuff. That's a good way of spilling everything. These big bins only hold bigger fittings and bigger screws in quantity. 1 1/2 fasteners and up.

      Packout is the toyota/lexus of the storage world expensive sure. But it's advantages to me is everyone makes stuff for it and it's not going away anytime soon. I would have hated buying to the kobalt system and they discontinued it already. Sometimes it's good to be 🧟‍♂️ one of us! 🍷

    That was kinda abrupt ending but always good to have another vantage point. I have not had them locally or able or order it on hds website non exisant. So I'm kinda jealous since the old one I liked but that blade brake sounds like the saw is working really hard all the time. I listen for stuff like that around Mr so people arnt stripping screws or dimming the lights with a chop saw/wormdrive and blowing breakers. You hear when things are wrong more than right and I do like the hook so it's worth the upgrade. Thanks for the video maybe do a little shorts plowing into a 4x4 rip cut so show the difference in rpm? Also that will get you on the radar of some new viewers who enjoy extreme looking things.

Im lucky i get to play with my toys often at work and it dosent leave me wanting too much. I can wait for the craze to die down on thoes saws and chances are they will be part of a battery promo if i dont get one for the 99. have you checked out pipeline? some good stuff and dewalt is comming out with a oil impule driver as well but i dont see using a 20v system much anymore. I agree. As an HVAC tech, I love the M12 line because we have to use them so much the m12 is light and compact and with the fuel high output battery it can do 95% of what you need, I haven’t come across anything the m12 can’t do yet, but I will say the electric drill had a rougher time drilling through sheet metal with a step bit but it did do it. For someone who isn’t using it for a specific purpose I’d go with m18 just in case, I’d rather have something I KNOW will do whatever job I need it to for only a little bit more money.

    Love the bag! Thoughts on adding a short strap that clips on both sides as a shoulder strap if needed? Also, I keep a mini ratchet with a 10mm as it fits “most” battery terminals. Keep it going fella, learned a lot. Love the keys too

    • @Tooling_with_Newman

      Thank you…….. I appreciate the idea with the strap. I had the one on there when I first got the bag but I didn’t use it more of a nuisance instead of anything else. I like the mini ratchet with 10mm definitely doing that one. Thank you for the ideas.
