Ed Coan has squatted 900 in meets more time than anyone else and for a much longer duration. His records will stand for a long time!!!

If you look at the screen behind the platform, his second squat in this vid is actually his third and his third his second. It was the uploader's mistake.

Definately the world's all-time great and USA's greatest powerlifter bar none . At a bodyweight of less than 100kg(220lbs) he totalled over 1000kgs(2200lbs). Not many lifters anywhere in the world could total that much at that bodyweight, not even the russians.

      165. Competed all the way up to 242. Said he was the strongest at 198 & 220, but needed some extra protection so he went up to around 235-240.
