- Опубликовано: 15 апр 2020
- This is review of the Jabra Elite Active 75, true wireless earbuds - the waterproof enhanced version of the Jabra Elite 75ts. They have the same exact power, battery life and performance as the Jabra Elite 75ts, but an added bonus of IP57 dust and water resistance, which makes them capable of staying under 1 meter or water for up to 30 minutes!

I'm listening to this on my 75ts i just pulled them out of the washing machine I was thinking they would be f bombed. Accidently confirmed the waterproofing I love these things.
And I accidentally confirming that 65t is not. 😢
My case died rendering the ear buds useless, in the end water proof or not, as a result of water damage to the case I will need to buy a whole new set as jabra does not sell replacement cases.
@@TwoPlusTwoEqualsFive32 that sucks.. didn't realise you can't buy replacement ones, can you get the wireless one when it is eventually released? You might find a used regular one on eBay...
Shame the active case isn't waterproof as you're more likely to damage that then the buds in a lot of scenarios
@@lrvalencia 😭
Did you wash them with the case???i just washed mine with the case and hoping i didnt ruin it,so now Im here looking at water test videos
Great review, love these headphones. If they can handle being used while I’m working(in ears for 8-13hours a day)...then I gotta say it’s the best headphones I’ve used for the features and price. Rain, heat, wind, shit loads of dirt and dust and sweat. 👍✌️
No worries! Your first few takes were funny to me too! :-)
Thanks for the review.
Lol. Yeah. It was giving me all sorts of problems so I decided to include a few in there. you're welcome. Thanks for watching
Thank you for this great video! I am buying a pair and your video helped me finalize my decision. Michael's comment about accidentally running them through the washing machine - sounds like something I may do one day - so glad they came out okay!
You’re welcome. Glad the video was helpful. Thanks for watching.
For everyone who's had them wet and think they're broken, allow them to dry. Sometimes water gets in the hole of the speaker and mutes the sound. After they're dry they should be just fine. My 65t elite actives survived a wash. I thought they broke, but they turned out to be just fine. It really proves they live up to expectation to me.
Thanks man - we're working on a review and this is one of the most genuine reviews I've come across. Small tech RUclipsrs of the world unite! :)
Sweet. Hope your review turns out well. And thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it
Liked and Subscribed! Really helpful. Keep it up!!
This was a top quality video. Thanks so much for putting it together!
Glad you enjoyed it and it was helpful. Thanks for watching.
Just bought a pair, I love them, I also own the Bose. I must admit I love the size of these they hide in your ears, while the Bose are bulky and stick out of my ears a lot.
Thank you, great review! You are helping me make up my mind as to which to purchase.
Glad I could help. Thanks for watching
Thank YOU for the info. Last question: do the "new" software downloads make the adjustments of the 85t (slide bars etc), similar or the same for the Archive 75T? Or did I misunderstand all that. Thanks again!
@@ironman1518. I’m not sure. I’m not familiar with the 85Ts. I’m waiting to receive my review unit and I don’t watch other reviews until I make by review so I’m not skewed or have established bias yet. Hopefully I’ll have them in the next few weeks
@@TechOdyssey Thank you! Good for you! I should have worded my question differently. The "new' software' makes the tuning of the Active 75T's better easier to 'tune' them than before? Thank you again. Oh yeah at the risk of being laughed at I have NO smart phone, will only use these when i ride my recumbent Triot trike with my Sandisk MP3 player. The Active 75T's Will connect to my player? It does have blue tooth, ( Sandisk Clip Sport Plus.).
I’ve been wearing the 65t actives for a couple months now and they’re absolutely amazing
Nice. I got a pair of those as well and I'm in the process of reviewing them.
The Elite Active 65t's r DOPE!!!!
Great review, thank you.
You’re welcome. Glad it was helpful
I absolutely love these. But as a a school kid, I have just one gripe. YOU CAN'T USE SINGLE BUD USE ON THE LEFT EAR (I CANT SHARE AN EARBUD WITH SOMEONE ELSE)
love the review! I experienced the elite 75ts coming loose periodically during runs and was wondering if you felt like the active 75ts were more secure than the elite 75ts?
Honestly they feel the same to me. It’s the same finish. I wouldn’t expect there to be any difference. They just have a better IP rating.
the Active 75 t s have a different finish which is less slippery
@@TechOdyssey 😬😬😬 different finish, more grippy
I just ordered the active 75t Wireless charging for 120€ instead of 240€. I think thats a steal and im also super hyped for the earbuds!
Can you shower with them consistently while listening to music?
@@mms3635 I just tried and it broke one of em. I knew I shouldn’t of trusted them being water proof
@@nobrimnoyankee3982 you probably had the non-active version. They look identical to the active only have a rating of ip55 as opposed to ip57. Still, I'd expect ip55 to survive a shower so it's strange. I hope you were able to replace with warranty.
Edit: also, after being in water it may seem like they are broken(quieter sound in one bud). But this resolves after letting them dry. Speaking of experience here, my 65t actives survived a wash. Thought they were broken but turned out to be fine.
Could you please tell me how to do it so that when I take off one earphone, the other one continues to be heard? The Airpod Pro have that option but these Elite 75t I can't find how to do it. Only if I remove the left earphone if the right is heard but if I remove the right the left is not heard. Thanks for your help.
Hi good review👍 I have the mpow m5s but thinking of getting the jabras I know the music Quality is better on the jabras but how do they compare in overall volume levels? as I like loud music for gym use thanks keep up the good reviews👍
I think they're louder, but the biggest consideration here is the price. We're talking like a $160 price difference here. The Jabra's are amazing - the best sounding earbuds you can get, in my opinion, but they're certainly expensive.
TechOdyssey ok thanks I’m not sure on jabras or the the sound core liberty 2 pros as there on sale which of them is louder on full volume as I like my music loud good base an quality sound keep up the good reviews thanks😊
is worth spending the extra money for the active . got a really good deal on on the 75t though like 194dollar cad. is it worth spending extra 70 or 80 dallars for the active ? Is there are sound improvements ?
No. It's not. Unless you want waterproof earbuds there is zero reason to upgrade. The sound experience is identical.
@@TechOdyssey thankyou do much! Much appreciated. Keep up with the good work.
@@TechOdyssey I think you're not correct. The active can connect to 8 devices instead of 2
I just ordered these from WISH after hearing your wonderful review!
Lol
Plz can you tell me if I can use them individually
Because I heard I can't use the left one without the right..... Answer would be appreciated 🙏
Have you try connection to 2 phone and it is able to connect automatically swiftly when using each phones ?
Some ear buds turn OFF once they go under water. I am looking for one that I can swim 🏊♀️ with. Would you recommend these or the Enacfire F1 that has an IP8 rating?
With only a 30 minute wet time that’s not much swimming time…
One major downside is you cannot use the left bud by itself. Jabra promised this feature would be in the recently released update but failed to deliver☹️
Yes. That is unfortunate.
Can you use the right by itself?
@@toad3222 You can indeed use the right one by itself
im facing the issue where by left earbud isnt connecting . Even doing the cleaning
@@VictorNgTZ go onto Reddit. There are quite a few forums where workarounds hv been posted. I posted one myself.
Would you say the Jabra 75T over Samsung buds pro or Huawei freebuds pro?
Loved your video bro. Genuine
Thank you
I washed my 75ts and dried them and they still worked 🙌🏼
Hi man, thank you for the video. My question is.... Can I swing with them?
I already own Jebra Elite active 65t, do there big reasons to upgrade rather than waterproof feature?
Thank you for this great review
Paul Woods what do you think?
Yeah paul what u think
This copper color not available in Dubai.i bought blue .mind blowing
yeah unless u have a new phone the app dosent exist for u, theyre app only works for windows 7 and up so my samsung galxy s 5 is too old to get that update and now i cant get the app, is there a fix for this that dosent envolve me becoming a programmer of sorts ?
What would u say is better for sound jabra elite active 75t or powerbeats pro
I have never listened to power beats pro but from what I've heard, the 75t should sound better
I'm currently looking into these. I have the Galaxy Buds Plus and the sound has basically disappeared. I've tried everything suggested but the issue persists.
Damn I just did the same thing I’m blown
Want to get regular 75t elite for the all black. I dont need them for work out, but I live in a hot country, is it just worth it to get sweat resistant active ones?
The normal ones have good enough sweat resistance already
Hi is that true it doesn't work in one side ear like must wear bouth and can't change R use on left ear?
First comment! Love your videos mate
Thanks a lot. I appreciate it.
Went beach running in these and one fell out landing in the water for about 5 seconds, it still charges however it does not work same as before. Jabra does say fresh water but the salt surely would take time to damage headphones.
Hi, they state in the Jabra website that the Jabra Elite Active 75t do have ANC, could you please verify? I heard on another video, as you mentioned, that these have only a Passive Noise Cancellation, I'm a little confuse. Thanks
ANC has been added via a firmware update, so they do have it now.
Hopefully you answer, so I have the regular elites but the plastic that surrounds the actual ear piece hurts and chafes my ear and I can’t have them in for like an hour. When getting the actives will it help with the pain and chafing that the regular elites have?
No. Sorry. They fit and feel the exact same. The only difference is the waterproof rating
TechOdyssey any suggestions on how to fix this?😂 I enjoy everything in this earbuds but the way it feels.... and oddly it’s just for one ear😳 maybe I damaged my ear recently, I don’t know😂
Rick Harrison you should try out foam tips.
@@elijahmoon5057 Get the COMPLY Pro Memory Foam Buds on Amazon they were made particularly for the Jabra's you'll love them.
Anyone have any news when they will bring out the elite active 75t wireless charging case?
They have an update in the software, and are now active noise cancelling.
Yes they are. I made an update video about it
Great! I'll search for the new one.
Earbud care question :
1.Do you guys dry or leave your ear buds to dry before charging? Or do you put them back into the charging case straight after running?
2.Should you charge the charging case with the ear buds inside? Will it cause over charging?
1) for hygene reasons i would at least wipe them down and dry them with a towel
2) It would be gross oversight if they didn't have overcharge protection. so it shouldn't atter how you charge them.
Just got these the left airbud audio is kinda trash at high volumes
Probably a quality control issue. That shouldn't be happening.
If any method to know which earbud have what I rating?
Just FYI the case is not waterproof, mine went in the washing machine earbuds survived case is fucked ironically this makes the ear buds useless as soon as they loose what remains on their charge they will be ornaments.
Jabra does not sell replacement cases for the 75t meaning my 300au water proof earbuds may as well have died in the water with the case as the result is still the same I have useless ear buds and I will need to buy a new pair. So waterproof or not what is the fucking point if the thing that charges said ear buds gets fucked?
I'm sorry to hear that. The earbuds are waterproof rated because they are made to be used in water activities. They aren't waterproof because they are washing machine proof - they certainly aren't rated or that. But the case i's not designed to be waterproof because it's not intended to be in the water, the earbuds are. And even if it was IP67, the case or earbuds are still not designed for a washing machine.
HELP ❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️
My right ear bud is not working though the button is working but no sound is coming from the earbud . I also tried reseting it but still it is not working.
PLEASE HELP🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏🙏🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
THANK YOU....
Bluetooth connectivity is rock solid in indoor condition. However, when I jog and put my phone in trouser pocket, bluetooth connectivity cuts frequently. Is my set faulty or this is how it behaves for everyone else ?
I didn’t try that but I didn’t have problems with it in my pocket while walking.
@@TechOdyssey Thank You
Im the same. When walking and phone is in my pocket the wifi is terrible. No issues inside.
@@deakmerrett4058 I got a solution hopefully that will work for you as well. Put the phone on your right pocket. It may cut once or twice but eventually the connectivity will be stable as BT 5.0 performs some channel hopping until it finds the best one.
I wanna buy these both for myself and my GF, but she has very narrow ear canals, will they still fit her?
Likey I would say yes with the smaller ear tips. I don't have large ears and they fit me just fine.
How does these handle wind noise when hear through is enabled?
I own the Elite 65t (non active) and feel like the wind noise goes rigth through when biking and need to have the volume really high.
Also have an issue with the headphones turning om and connecting to my phone when in the charging case, but might be due dropping the case once or twice making a loose connection 😬 (if anyone have had same issue and have a solution, please let med know 🙂)
i have these and it picks up my ac sound and makes it way louder so wind is probably louder, but you can set the volume of the hear through feature in the app
edit: you can control the volume of the hear through and whatever music you have on separately is what i meant
Took mine for a shower and now the right side doesn't work properly anymore. Sounds distorted and the volume is significantly lower. Left side seems fine. I'll need to contact Jabra
Did you allow them time to dry out afterward and retest? Just curious.
@@TechOdyssey it’s been 4 days and it’s getting worse. It’s definitely busted. Speaker sounds like it’s rattling on low frequencies
@@mzrexp5489 yeah. I would see about returning that. That's messed up
I need to know! Are they waterproof? I am a swimmer who is trying to break his high school records and I want something to listen to when I’m training
These are not. But the elite active 75t are ip57 meaning water resistant up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
Thank you
Love how you like all you comments
Thanks. I take the time to read them and respond as often or as appropriately as possible. Thanks for watching
I heared there was an update to the softwear of these earphones witch makes them support ANC is this correct?
Yup. I made a video about it too
@@TechOdyssey wauw my bad 😂😂 I am watching that one right now
Sir how to Check which earbird get what IP rating ?
Mine lose Bluetooth range when I put it in my pocket
That shouldn’t be happening
Disconnect, forget on Bluetooth. Put headphones back in case. Wait a min. Then reconnect. Happens to me while out working.
Where is water testing video which has been used in thumbnail ?
It was just an illustration because they are waterproof. I thought of it after the video was finished and then made the thumbnail.
@@TechOdyssey so sir that's mean it can survive while taking shower ???
@@rjvlog4931 yes it can
I just bought a pair. Mine came with active noise canceling
That's because they just pushed out the ANC feature through a firmware update at the end of October
@@TechOdyssey good to know. Thanks for the reply
Dying for these 😍
They’re the best!
So expensive though can’t afford
Wich is better Jaybird Vista or Jabra active 75?
Jabra for sound. Jaybird fit around the ear though. They’re very secure
I bought my for $160 try to find it when it’s on sale
Hi, how to activated the ANC in Jabra elite active 75T?
Jabra 75T don't have ANC. Only hearthrough audio.
@@TechOdyssey Ohh thank you! I think "elite active" means it has ANC 😂😂
@@notv5571 nope. They're water resistant, which is why they call them active. You're welcome
@@TechOdyssey But they do have ANC and it works nice.
Hi. Great review. They come with ANC but you have to Activate it and set it on the app. I dont use ANC as it makes me as sick as a Drunk person.
How can it make you sick by blocking out sound
@@lukeskywalker6691 ANC is a sound to block other sounds. For some people like me once you turn it off it makes me dizzy within seconds.
The natural sound blocking by covering the ear canal dont make me sick
@@benjabhd that’s crazy how that happens. I though the noice cancellation was from the way they are in the ear
They still have the "white noise" problem though. Just because of that this buds are no no for me.
firmware update ?
I heard music throughout your presentation.
These are great.
Yeah they are
my brand new jabra elite active 75t's will only get 6 hours consistent music at 2/3 volume. ;( won't even go close to 7 1/2 hours. that was why i bought them. also you can't even use one at a time to increase battery length because you must use the right ear piece. very very disappointed
What volume percentage are you listening to them at? 100%?
@@TechOdyssey I clearly stated 2/3 volume. Im using them at work with the hear through function so i can still hear my co workers talk. they are great headphones im just upset i cant use one at a time to double the battery length, and they are only able to work for 6 hours not even close to maximum volume.
So can I use them while showering?
According to the water resistance rating, yes.
I just bought some yesterday, I'll try it.
It definitely works in the shower and sounds great. Rubber on the buds makes it harder to fall out of yours ears. I had the Elite 75ts, bought them twice, I keep losing a bud, usually so small that it slips out of my ear. But on the Actives, very hard to slip.
Pretty Dope
The thumbnail is of the earbuds in water but you don’t actually put them in water to prove they would still would afterwards you don’t even give a demo of them at all we’re just taking your word for it
Bruh I had these in the shower and now one of them don’t work???
Did you get soap and shampoo on them?
@@TechOdyssey i mean yeah but when when I hopped out shower they were fine and about an hour later one of them stopped working properly like the audio is really quiet in one of them even when I turn my phone volume up
@@nobrimnoyankee3982 how long ago did this happen?
@@TechOdyssey WAIT OMG DUDE , they just needed time to dry out . I really thought they were broken forever 😤 they’re completely fine now thank god
@@nobrimnoyankee3982 yes. They're water resistant, not designed to be listened to submerged in water. Let the water dry off and they should be ok.
We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning ruclips.net/user/postUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.
So you can't shower with them for longer than thirty minutes?
Correct
Came to see the be tested in water didn’t see them get tested in water
Very misleading thumbnail
Its ok to shower with it ?
Thanks 🙏
👍
Can you wear them in the shower then?
Yup

Haha i got mine for 80.00 off...
Very cool
My $50 pair of J Lab Go Air's have been more reliable and trustwothy than these crap Jabras.. The earbuds work then dont work, sometimes it wont pair at all, the sound is low, not impressed with them at all, not worth the hype or price at all.
