    Thanks for the video. I have used 65T for 2 years and love them. I updated to 75T and returned them. The new smaller size means they don't fit firmly in the ear. I cant even garden with them, they simply fall out after a while. If you buy them, make sure you can return them if your not happy

      what do you think of the sound quality of the 75t? my 65t broke so the warranty got me the upgrade. They fit better, they have a better case and battery life, but they seem so much worse at noise isolation and the sound seems really hallow and overly bassy.

    The Jabra Elite Active 65t changed my life, insofar as it made me an avid audiobook reader. I've used it since late 2018.
    1. I only use the right earbud 95% of the time because I want awareness of my surroundings, plus, it makes battery life last longer. However, sometimes I want to block out external noise, so I play some orchestral music or white noise.
    2. I wish the earbuds were magnetically attached to the box so they don't fall out
    3. I've used these earbuds while listening to audiobooks even in the shower, being careful not to drench them too much. I've even gone on long walks and so I'm pretty satisfied with the water-resistance it offers.
    4. Don't even think about leaving them in your ear while sleeping--very uncomfortable.
    5. It connects to only two devices at a time. I can only connect it to my phone and iPad, but can't connect it to my laptop then. I really wish it connected to more than two.
    6. I even connected it to my KAWAI digital piano through a BlueTooth-MIDI connector. That way I could practice without disturbing anyone else in the house.

    I’ve had my 65t for nearly 2 years now and they are the best earphones I’ve ever had. They fit perfectly in my ear and the quality is amazing. Only downside is the case. I wish it had magnets like the 75t.

      I had the 65t for about 2 years up until last week when I dropped one in a mop water bucket so it stopped working. I bought the newer 75t and it came in two days. The 75t is pretty similar but better in a few ways. The case is much easier to open lien an AirPods case and the buds themselves are magnetized to stick to the inside of the case. Also you can control the functionality of the buttons on the 75t. So if you want the left side to pause music with a double tap you can....if you want the right side to open voice assistant you can. It’s all up to you. And this guy is wrong about the volume....on the 75t you hold the right button for volume up and the left button for volume down. Also the buttons are a lot easier on the touch so you aren’t pushing into your ear canal. They’re smaller and better looking too. I have the black 75t

    I just purchased the Elite 75t's, April 2021, they're fantastic and can be updated via their app, which allows you to get ANC if they didn't come with that feature. The ANC works well. I purchased them on Amazon for $130.00 (gold & beige) the other colors were priced higher. The app. is the best that I have seen, really lets you customize a lot of features.

    Good video man. I have them both and I agree with what you said. The only thing I’d add, is that the 65s have better passive isolation than the 75s do. Also, the 65s don’t have a magnet to keep the buds in place (which is odd) like the 75s do. It overall, spot on review. Keep up the good work.

    • @TechOdyssey
      @TechOdyssey  4 года назад +1

      Thanks a lot! And thanks for taking the time to watch. I appreciate it. And yeah, I don't know why they left the magnets out. I don't use them personally but seems a trivial feature to leave out. Also, in inclined to agree with the noise isolation, simply because the 65s occupy so much of your ear space. It's basically impossible for sound to get in lol ,but it does make them uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time.

    • @deeno6067
      @deeno6067 4 года назад

      TechOdyssey yea the magnets being left out is definitely weird. But overall, they do their job like you stated. I use them exclusively for the gym and riding my bike. The 75s get used for everything else. Btw, you mentioned the sound of the 75s to be some of the best. I’d love to see a comparison between the Sony WF-1000xm3, Liberty 2 Pro, and the 75s. I have the L2P and the 75s, but am curious to hear your thought on them.

    ANC isn’t always better. It’s the rage but ANC only works on a fairly narrow audio band and it’s even worse when trying to operate with an unsealed earbud (kind of a sh** show). If given the choice between current gen ANC and strong passive (where the earbud is sealed and creates a good audio seal in the ear canal), I’d go with passive every time.

    That jabra eq doesnt maximize the sound you have to set the bass knob all the way up and turn everything else almost all the way down flat, then you have to make a similarly shaped equalizer curve using an actual equalizer like the jailbreak tweak EQE does. Then you raise the bass portion of the eqe curve until you find no distortion also spotify audio normalization being turned off will more accurately tune these phones 36-44 hz is where these shine so make your bass portion of the curve around these 2 frequencies with roughly 40hz being the max of the bass parabola

With my AirPods I get effectively infinite battery life on calls because I can use one bud until the battery is low and then swap it with the other one in the case. As a personal trainer working from home, this is super helpful. With the Jabras I will have to use them until they die and then put them back in the case and suffer through speaker phone for ten minutes. Not the end of the world but for the price, it’s a shame.

    Thanks for the thorough review, it was excellent!
    One thing I'm super concerned about and hoping you can touch on a bit more is the fit. I can see one commenter had issues with it, but I've seen a written review that said the fit was good, so I'm wondering about your and others' experience with either the Active 65ts or the Active 75ts. I got a refurbished pair of Elite 75t's - not the Elite Actives, just the Elite - and the sound was so good I literally cried when I listened to one of my favorite songs for the first time, because I heard harmonies I'd never heard before. I love everything about them except the fit. I've tried all three gel sizes, and none of them fit me well. With the two smallest gels, the earbuds will sometimes just fly out of my ears if I so much as bend down. With the largest gel, they almost hurt because of how big they are in my ear, and they push themselves out of my ear over time. Now they're damaged because they've hit the floor so much.
    I'm totally sold on the quality & sound of Jabra earbuds, but I hate to spend the money on either of these models only to run into the same issue. I'm hoping they're more stable as they're marketed for sports/exercise. If not then I'll probably need to go with a version that hooks over my ears or that's connected by a wire.
    I appreciate any insight you can provide!
