Great video. According to Jabra the 85t has one extra mic in each bud. Because of this the 85t has feedforward and feedback noise cancellation, so it can cancel both external noise (eg. traffic) and internal noise (for example the sound of your own chewing). The 75t has only feedforward noise cancellation, so it can cancel external noise only. I am still deciding which to get.
Yeah the other big difference is that the 85t is partially vented so you don't get the internal noise feedback of talking/chewing etc. That makes it so the bass can't be quite as punchy and would allow for some external noise, which is probably why they increased the driver size to compensate. I REALLY hate hearing myself talking/chewing, so this is the biggest difference and a selling point for me. Comparing and testing out this aspect of it, especially with the hear through function would be of big interest. Hear through while you're talking or eating is almost unusable on the 65t and 75t imo.
I’ve had the 85t for a couple years and use them constantly. I regularly get complaints about my background noise being realllllly loud🤷🏽♂️. They sound really good but are a bit heavy. I actually just lost one in the woods the other day and will likely replace them with the elite 7 pro because they are cheaper and lighter and more water proof. ANC is really nice and impressive and all but also kind of overrated imo

just picked up my 75t´s and to my surprise, there was a new software upgrade, the noise cancelling is awesome, the sound is perfect, I checked out alot of reviews ahead of time, so I already knew that these would be the ones I wanted
I happily purchased a pair of factory renewed 75T since I had such a good experience buying the 65T the same way from The Jabra Company Store on Amazon. Between Amazon’s 90 day return policy and Jabra’s 180 warranty on their renewed products, you can’t go wrong. I bought the factory renewed 65T in Sept. of 2018, the batteries just recently began to fail. But that’s after 2 years of daily use, all day everyday, that’s over 700 days of near constant use. So I can say I got my $119 worth. This time I came away with an even better deal, I snagged the factory renewed 75T for only $99!!!!! Got them in pristine condition. You’d never know these were used by anyone else, not a scratch or fingerprint to be seen anywhere, the only thing missing is the original packaging. The earbuds and case both came 100% fully charged. Paired them with both my usual devices, checked for an update, found one and ran it and then messed with the equalizer to get it to my liking and done, fully operational and ready for use in under 20 minutes. If these hold up near as well as the last ones, I don’t think I’ll buy any other wireless earbuds from anyone else but Jabra!! So as far as their 85T goes, I think I’ll hold off and see how the first models role out, see that they work the kinks out and then I’ll think about if I feel any need to upgrade. But you best believe I’ll be buying another renewed pair!!
Nice comprehensive and concise review. Based on your review, I will stick with my 75Ts. BTW if you don't like the feel of the silicone ear tips or they are too "claustrophobic" I highly recommend replacing them with Comply memory foam tips. These tips made my 75Ts more comfortable so I could wear them for much longer periods of time (I'm not a paid advertiser).

I have both of these (also the 65t) and.....I’m conflicted about the 85t. Man the 85 is FOR SURE a lot larger in the ear than the 75. Yes the 85 has a better ANC than the 75, but the sound quality is pretty much the same, at least to me. The 85 case is larger as well (yes wireless charging) so..... knowing what I know now, I probably wouldn’t have purchased the 85, since the 75 is almost perfect in every way. Hmmmm
@@SUKHWINDERSINGH-ub5yq the bass is very very good for what it is. I often find myself listening on full volume though, so the only down thing I’ve found is that the volume could be higher. Other than that I love them.

If the 75Ts were left with no ANC and 85Ts had it, I’d upgrade, but now the 75Ts HAVE ANC (albeit not quite as sophisicated), I can’t really justify it. Hats off though to Jabra for implementing ANC in the 75Ts, would be very easy to just say ‘you want ANC? Buy the new gear!’ 😀

On top of that, the upgrades from 75 to 85 are rather minor. That ANC they gave us for 75 is amazing. Not many additional benefits for the 85, especially considering their cost
My jarba elite active 75t are the best earphones I’ve ever used top quality product! I use them for running most of the time. I don’t know if to upgrade though!
I bought both 75t active and 85t together. 85t has the most intense base that I have ever heard on an earbud. It literally shakes ur head. 75 t is kind of normal. Conclusion; even though I paid 109.00 $ for the 75t active and 200.00$ for the 85 t. I am keeing the 85t. They are in another level when listening to music

I just got the 85t and I barely noticed the ANC. I actually find the 75t to have a better ANC because of the way they are designed they provide better ANC despite not having the dedicated hardware. After playing around with the 85t I got a better and more powerful bass sound than the 75t.

I'm pretty much satisfied with the ANC on the Active 75t. Also it has better water/dust protection so I'm keeping it. I will consider the 85t if/when they release an Active variant.
W'sup CEO...Man you can't go wrong with Jabra earbuds. I got the Jabra 65T's back in '18 just when it first came out and I can't recall any other manufacturer doing firmware updates back then other than Jabra. The 65T's are still up there as far as features and capabilities compared to earbuds of today. The 75T's are pretty nice and now that they've added ANC via a firmware update it is as you say "solid." You're review of the 85T is on point and I appreciate that side by side comparison of the 75T & the 85T. I have the 75T and with the ANC update I'm probably just gonna stick with it for now because I'm happy with that thumping bass. I like the smaller size of the 75T's too which from what I can see, don't stick out as much as the 85T.
In your next comparison review, please switch the sound/mic test between the products several times in the same environment, so we can hear the actual difference.

Thanks for the review. I held off buying the 75t when I heard the 85t was coming out. I really thought that the 12mm driver vs 6mm would make a big difference to a bass head like me. Seems not so much. My ears are a lot bigger than yours though so maybe it’s down to getting a proper seal to really experience those lows.

I have got jabra elites 65t. Very good sound, complete app, good quality call, transparent hearing not bad. I didn't know 85t are semi-open earbuds. I wonder if jabra will release an 85t closed model.
Man! I hope I like the 75t. Most of the reviews say they have better sound than other popular earbuds. I really wanted to like the XM4 but although I like the overall sound and look, it didn’t have enough volume or boost for me even when adjusting the equalizer.

The conclusion (at 07:22) is actually not a conclusion, it's just end credits. That said, I'll be purchasing the 75T's. If I want the best sound quality I'd not be going for these but the Momentum 2 earbuds (for example). I'm strictly looking for that deep bass that JBL tend to achieve, I love deep, rumbling bass that makes your head shake wildly.

I got the 75t active and was curious. Seems like the 85t is absolutely NOT worth the upgrade. I was over the moon when they brought in active noise cancellation to the 75t through a update. Now they are fucking complete. Mainly as training buds but now even more friendly to all around use.
If I had waited one more day before buying, I would have had the 75t. There is no way the price difference balances it out just for an option to adjust the sliders. On Black Friday Week I could buy two sets of the 75t for the price of one 85t. But I needed the ANC and so other earplugs was in the running up. SONY and Apple as well as a few others were considered. I still like my 85t, but I rather have the money left over from a 75t. Wireless charging and sliders all considered.
Oh and yes, I obviously hadn't found out about the fw patch for the 75t despite of looking on a lot of videos and reviews, as you do these days before buying as much as a nail clipper... 😅

How does the 85ts bluetooth range compare to the 75t? For bluetooth 5.0, I found the 75ts performance quite poor. Also, does the 85t use the same master/slave configuration? That setup was terrible and resulted in the right side battery draining much more rapidly than the left.

The only diff with the actives have rubber where ur fingers touch them. The part that goes in ur ear is the same

I’m not understanding why you’re saying anc can’t be adjusted on the 75t’s. I don’t have the 85t’s and I’m able to customize my anc in the jabra app.

Good looks bro...imma definitely hit the link and the like...imma traveling subcontractor i need something with decent ANC i can use on flights as well as something durable (water and dust proof) to use on my job sites. I was curious as to how they differed in ANC and protection rating but an added bonus was hearing the mics!! Perfect Vid!

The conclusion (at 07:22) is actually not a conclusion, it's just end credits. That said, I'll be purchasing the 75T's. If I want the best sound quality I'd not be going for these but the Momentum 2 earbuds (for example). I'm strictly looking for that deep bass that JBL tend to achieve, I love deep, rumbling bass that makes your head shake wildly.

Question if you could help my daily drivers are the JBL reflect Minis I'm looking for a backup the jbl's sound quality and the way they EQ is outstanding along with the build quality Ambient feature ANC needs work. Do you think I would like one of the Jabras as a backup Elite 7 Active? Elite 75T? What do you think? Help I'm confused 🤔. 👍💯

I’m good with my 75t’s
I got the 75t active and was curious. Seems like the 85t is absolutely NOT worth the upgrade.
I was over the moon when they brought in active noise cancellation to the 75t through a update. Now they are fucking complete. Mainly as training buds but now even more friendly to all around use.

If I had waited one more day before buying, I would have had the 75t. There is no way the price difference balances it out just for an option to adjust the sliders. On Black Friday Week I could buy two sets of the 75t for the price of one 85t. But I needed the ANC and so other earplugs was in the running up. SONY and Apple as well as a few others were considered. I still like my 85t, but I rather have the money left over from a 75t. Wireless charging and sliders all considered.
Oh and yes, I obviously hadn't found out about the fw patch for the 75t despite of looking on a lot of videos and reviews, as you do these days before buying as much as a nail clipper... 😅

How'd you compare the new rubber in ear design? Is it more like the airpods pro? I dont really like the one on 75t. It makes me claustrophobic.

How does the 85ts bluetooth range compare to the 75t? For bluetooth 5.0, I found the 75ts performance quite poor. Also, does the 85t use the same master/slave configuration? That setup was terrible and resulted in the right side battery draining much more rapidly than the left.
