Whether at 900 or 1,000hp the add'l. 100hp will not be noticeable to most of us mere mortals, but just for the optics alone, I'd love to read an announcement that GM produces it's first 1,000hp Corvette. Just as long as the announcement is NOT from MT.😉 Save the Wave.🏁
Thanks, Peter! I'm a bit iffy about info coming out of Motor Trend lately myself, but with this same rumor swirling for almost a year now there has to be something to it.
I have to say - I'm sick of people saying, "The Corvette just might be a super car now." The Corvette has been a "super car"! Does the definition keep changing somehow only when Corvette comes out with a new car that costs 1/3 or 1/2 that of other "super cars", but kills them on the street/track? For instance, the C7 Z06 was 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque with a 0-60 of around 3 seconds. (By the way, Car & Driver already called the C7 Z06 a "super car" and rightfully so www.caranddriver.com/chevrolet/corvette-z06). It also put other super cars to shame in the cost/performance ratio. The C7 ZR1 has around 750 hp from the factory and hit 0-60 in 3 seconds and the quarter in about 10.8! That's not super car territory!? The new, base model C8 with the Z51 package hits 0-60 in less than 3 seconds and the quarter in 11.2. For comparison, Car and Driver calls the 2020 Ford GT a "hypercar" and it hits 0-60 in around 3 seconds and the quarter in 10.8. It can't be just price that determines the super car moniker because then a Rolls Royce Phantom could be considered one (I kid). I know HorsePower Obsessed is an avid Corvette fan, but let's not buy into the BS car snobbery community that looks down on Corvettes just because they're a little less expensive then their beloved and over priced sports cars. And since we're on this topic, by the numbers you're giving, it sounds like the C8 ZR1 will officially be a hypercar if we go by how that word has been applied to other cars, including the new Ford GT, that have similar layout/performance/specs. So, I'm just saying, let's give credit where it's due and stop buying into ill-conceived notions that a Corvette doesn't belong in the same category as other "super cars" and can only be allowed in the group if Ferrari/Lamborghini/Porsche/etc. enthusiasts bless it.
Yes I was right!!! I knew the ZR1 was going to hit 1000hp. Now someone give me a Scooby snack.. My Second prediction they will make a limited run Zora edition.
It's easy to be right when these rumors have been around for over a year now. The 1000hp rumor has been around forever and GM has trademarked Zora about a year ago as well so odds are very good we'll see that happen.
So no twin turbo set up?. If they go this way I think the zo6 could loose weight, up to 200 ponds give or take and the hybrid ZR1 may add back that same weight loss of 200 pounds, Midigating things a little this would be good a ZR1 weighing around the same weight as a z51 model c8. Question, will there be a ZORA model after this getting the car well into the 1000 BHP range with a twin turbo? If all info you r giving is true then this is even better for reliability, less vibration, less heating issues, all because of not having a twin turbo. Price will go down as well. Look at Porsche AWD extra cost about 8 k and change plus hybrid system about the same more then suspension tweaks, aero / active aero and base ZR1 may be about 30 ,000 more than the zo6 / $ 98,000 base Z06+30,000 128,000 starting base price. GM main focus is not on twin turbo but electrification. Hybrid to eventually all electric cars period!
900 hp is good, but not insane I felt C8 ZR1 will be of 1100 to 1500 hp entering the hypercar market, crushing all the hypercars, that will be insane. If not i want a ZORA varient with 1500 hp above with millions of dollars price tag😅 That will be INSANE 😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥 CHEVY IS THE BEST
It's about dang time they confirmed it! LOL. I'm cool with the 900HP and the increased weight. When you're running two powerplants it won't drive like it's heavy. Based on the size of the center tunnel, I'd predict a 15kWh battery. If the front motor is for boost-only it sounds like they'll keep the accessories running off the mid-engine to reduce power consumption, but I'm curious how they're going to keep the batteries topped up on the track. Constantly using front axle power to assist when you demand more power results in battery drain. Think 2 to 3 laps at Nurburgring, tops. This is where performance hybrid owners are hugely let down.
If I had to guess they will have that hybrid motor only working on certain drive mods of the car. Sport and Track maybe, other than that it will be completely powered off if I had to guess. Track us is going to be the issue for sure, though. Battery life just can't stand prolonged use like that without some recharging. We'll have to wait and see what Chevy has in store for us.
There is a very short list of super cars with 1K hp. If the C8 ZR1 does this from the factory, it’s undeniably a supercar, and is as well in the upper echelon of supercars.
Hello Justin, interesting vlog and only time will tell. I am certain GM will indeed overwhelm the Corvette enthusiasts. Have a blessed Thanksgiving from Jaipur, India. Homeward bound early December for Christmas and ZO6 driving in the desert. Blue skies, Jg
Zr1 Zora thoughts: -i really hope they will call it Zora. -weight will be under 3700lbs Through extensive use of carbon. Panels, roof, wheels etc. -price would be under 250k
Last time we heard 1,000 hp with hybrid and AWD was the 918 and the La Ferrari. Screw supercar, this would make it a hypercar! Let the Z06 wipe out the supercars. Zora will handle the hypercar's!
HorsePower Obsessed I sure hop it does lol. I have an allocation for the new C8 and I’ve been battling myself on whether or not I should just wait for the C8 Z06.
T Croft that may or may not be the case with the Z07 variant of the C8, we’ll just have to wait and see. Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see how GM pulls it off and I’m sure it will be exciting.
You said the ZR1 would be a lot heavier, but some weight savings will occur with the engine change. The 5.5 will be lighter than the 6.2. The Blackwing is probably related to the 5.5 engine, the biggest difference will be the flat plane crank. You can bet there will be some commonality of parts to save money.
Wondering how much weight can be saved without fundamental platform changes. - Will the new engine (NA Flat Plan, Caddy Hot V or what ever) weigh less than the pushrod? If so could that partially mitigate battery and electric motor weight? - Material upgrades replacing steel components with aluminum, aluminum with carbon etc. works up to a poimt. Too bad you can't simply add/replace sections with a carbon fiber monocoque structure... or can you?
They already are using all those lightweight materials as much as possible... if they go to MORE carbon fiber, it will push the price higher, too. The V6 would 'generally' be a little lighter -- smaller block and cylinder head size, fewer pistons, etc -- but then the twin-turbos {and accompanying heat-exchangers } and overall induction and exhaust plumbing can run it right back up... and then, as you said, we have to add the E-engines, batteries and so on... OR the AWD drive-train assembly, if they go mechanical AWD. We'll just have to wait and SEE what they offer us.
Yup. Throwing carbon fiber or titanium at the problem jacks the price way up. They could strategically focus material upgrades to unsprung components, but that's still very expensive. Carbon fiber wheels alone are ultra-pricey. At some point I'm hoping someone puts a C8 on a lift to go over the car Savage Geese style.
Googling existing engine weights (say LS vs Voodoo Flat Plane) gives varying results because each weigh in has different components attached. Then there are the variables like turbo chargers, superchargers and so on. I like what Koenigsegg is doing with the Jesko. A single large turbo to save weight over twin turbos. They address turbo lag by blasting compressed air into the turbo to speed spooling. But again, that's an extremely expensive car. Millions.
@@HorsePowerObsessed The C8.R wieghs about 200 lbs lighter than the C7.R allowing for more strategic placement of corner wieghting to get the 2745 lbs minimum wieght. So maybe if the base C8 starts at 60K, Z06 at 120K and the if the ZR1 starts at 180K then thier will be enough money spent by the customer to pay for lightwieght replacements. Or maybe GM is purposely sandbaging the base C8's wieght so it's easier for the Z06 to wiegh less and the ZR1's wieght won't be as big of an increase over the base model 😉
I'll wait for the Grand Sport , hate the sound of a flat plane . No real improvement ,other than marketing thinks that is the way to go. The electric front drive should be available on the Grand Sport that, and some aftermarket twin turbos should be all I need !

That C8 ZR1 is going to be nuts.He said that “it might push into Supercar territory” LOL more like Hypercar territory. It looks like GM is looking to challenge Mclaren’s 720S and the Porsche GT2 RS with the new C8 ZR1 💪 If you look at past history, Chevy has always been up for the challenge of building a Corvette that will rival the fastest supercars out there. Now will be no different.
If it is true, way To go Chevrolet! ford blew it bad with the v6 Gt also the first ZR1 on this video lines look amazing and shortening up the rare looks great
The battery pack will go where a manual transmission would have been. That is one of the reasons no C8 will ever have a traditional manual transmission.
The Z06 will be the best to have. You still get lots of power, not too much weight and decent price. But we won't see these for another 2-3 years in the showroom.
Great video I see a lot of people down about the weight I’m not cause I don’t race cars so just to have this car would be awesome you have to think it maybe 200k plus a lot of money for a car
Thank you. The weight is a concern whether you race or not. The Vette should be lighter weight than a Camaro. I'm hoping GM finds a way to address this.
Instead of making a complicated hybrid system, I would've put a bigger LS engine in it (like the 427), twin turbo it, and make a transfer case to send the power to a front diff. In any case, we'll see how it'll all turn out. 🤷♂️
Sounds very expensive! The zo6 and zr1 both are already in super car territory. I’m more concerned with style and looks rather than horsepower. 700 HP should be enough for anyone. Especially if the aftermarket products are present
Super car? Wouldn't that be approaching hypercar territory? I think Corvette's have already made it to the supercar territory a long time ago. Maybe I'm mistaken and don't understand the difference. Whatever, it looks like a badass car regardless of it classification.
They might have to add rear wheel steering if they want the car to change directions. It's heavy, and RWS is a great method of negating that lumberwagon feeling.
When is the Horse Power peeing contest going to stop?!?! Oh ... never mind. This channel is called "Horse Power OBSESSED, after all. I'm just fine with the 495 that I have coming to me. :) :) :)
Get the weight down??? When was the last time they did that? My 04 Z weighs just over 3100lbs, has a big brake kit and a 620hp 416 in it and makes a great track car because it has great power to weight, handles and brakes well. GM needs to create a vette with those characteristics for the track guys.
I fully believe that the C8 will have an AWD option at the minimum. On Chevrolet’s website now, if you go through the process of designing your own C8 to order, it gives the option of drive type, albeit it only gives an option of RWD. But I definitely think there will be an AWD version.
Seeing how the exhaust tips upward makes me believe it was always made with twin turbos in mind. Tremec has an upgraded version of the DCT that is rated at 850 ft lb of torque so I see twin turbos coming. There are already ideas for aftermarket turbos based on what they've seen of the 5.5 flat plane. ZR1 may be one of the best buys of all time if they keep it at $130k or less.
Ive been saying this all along! All wheel with anything over 700 hp or you wont get the power down and cause more problems than its worth. If you wanna fry tires buy a hellcat! Lol!
NOBODY who is looking at a Mid engine Corvette seriously........is even considering a Hell Cat for purchase. I like the Challenger as throw back retro design so much so that I own one..... but lets be honest here. It's a PISS POOR CAR vs the Mid engine Corvette in terms of performance there is no comparison to be had. The Challenger and this new Corvette are not competing for the same buyer. Two vastly different cars.
Currently, I am more impressed with lower weight than higher power. If they could manage a 3700 lb ZR1 (which won't happen), that would be great. Would prefer the Z06 lose lbs and touch the 3400 lb range. Again, won't happen...but a man can dream...
Come on guys, the silver car in the pics are just renderings. Probably won’t look anything like that. So many comments about it. And no, no corvette will take sales away from Porsche or Ferrari or even Lamborghini. It will be amazing but they buyers are very different.

Absolutely, was just gonna post the same thing. Not exactly a reliable source so far.
They made a video saying that had dynod it at 650hp. Later on they said it was an error www.motor1.com/news/381851/motor-trend-dyno-error-corvette-horsepower/
Mike Hunt wants to ride in that C8 too.
When this car comes out Ferrari, Lambo, Mclaren, Porsche and all the rest of the super cars are done. This car will be top dog especially for the price.
I still could never afford it. $170,000 is about $100,000 more than what I could ever afford to buy.
Craig...Not necessarily...those who can afford 2 or 3 million for an exotic will still buy one..if only for the "status" of the name...
At my age...time seems to be flying😀Looking at this video, suddenly time doesn’t seem to fly fast enough. Can’t wait to see and hear the final z06 and z1 ...
Not just the extra room between the front wheels but also the tunnel between the seats would be a great place to put the batteries. So I see it will be a future addition. 👍😁
That's a good point!
Poss. Though harder to cool
9.5 second quarter mile time coming to you soon via the Zr1 Corvette.Awesome.
Insanity!
I still hear that the ZR1 and the Zora will be two different models, with the Zora being a 1,000+ hp hypercar
With all of these rumors coming true one by one, I don't doubt for a second we're going to get a Zora model AFTER the ZR1.
No the Zr1 is going to be the Zora mark my word.
@@ryanbarr2977 Consider your word now marked....we will see.
Holy crap 900 hp wow this bad boy is gonna be a beast, i finally seen a c8 today the guy let me sit inside and i tell ya it look's badass in person it sounds good too i think he said it's the z51 package it was silver i know i won't be able to afford it but i would like to see other people driving them and giving them the thumbs up👍🏿👍🏿 thx for the info too HPO👌🏿
You're quite welcome, my friend! Thank you for the support!
I say it's worth the extra weight. The GTR is heavy and I loved me my GTR!
Did I see a Porsche 918 Spyder reference in MT's description of this bad-boy ?? What's the 918 going for these days...a cool million ?? Super car performance with Hyper car looks...wow !!! I'm sold. Good stuff Justin. Thanks man.
Thank you! I appreciate the kind words. The ZR1 would definitely be up there with the other supercars.
If I bought a ZL1 I would get a license plate that reads SLAYER!
🤣🤣 I like it!
The U.S making some brutally epic cars as always I’m a Ford guy always have been but this Corvette cannot be denied that it’s one badass car to the core. 💪🏼
That's some cool designs. It would be nice if that's what they actually look like.
Agreed!
Great concise upload on the still rumored ZR1 and/or Zora. Whether at 900 or 1,000hp the add'l. 100hp will not be noticeable to most of us mere mortals, but just for the optics alone, I'd love to read an announcement that GM produces it's first 1,000hp Corvette. Just as long as the announcement is NOT from MT.😉
Save the Wave.🏁
Your 100% right.
Motor trend also confirmed that the c8 under ratings for hp? Was that just a way get get orders and deposits ?
They were just wrong on their c8 numbers
Motor Trend admitted to their results being "botched"
The zr1 is twin turbo on this leak.
They imply a twin turbo setup for both the Z06 and the ZR1 with the only difference being a hybrid motor on the ZR1 to give it a boost in horsepower.
900 hp is good, but not insane
I felt C8 ZR1 will be of 1100 to 1500 hp entering the hypercar market, crushing all the hypercars, that will be insane.
If not i want a ZORA varient with 1500 hp above with millions of dollars price tag😅
That will be INSANE 😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥
CHEVY IS THE BEST
What a great time to be alive!
Agreed!
Hell yeah that would make a crazy ass ride
Should be pretty awesome!
Looks like a liberty walk version of the C8.
I’ll take one! In navy & one in grey!
And the white one with the red head lights if the zr1 is going to look like tht a perform like what they say this car to going to be a beast !!!!!!
One word "AWESOME!"
🤘😎🤘
There is a very short list of super cars with 1K hp. If the C8 ZR1 does this from the factory, it’s undeniably a supercar, and is as well in the upper echelon of supercars.
Agreed!
All depends on when its on sale. Lots of new cars incoming over the next 2yrs as many makers convert their fleets over to hybrids.
What’s the price range looking like? 125k? 150k?
Lol for the zr1 are you crazy that's going to be the Z06 price
160 - 182k
Front hybrid engine allows dynamic braking via regeneration- collection of energy. You negate the weight by using CAPACITORS VS batteries.
Thanks, John! I appreciate the support. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
When will the first ZO6 C8, be delivered.
Current rumor says maybe 2022.
Zr1 Zora thoughts:
-i really hope they will call it Zora.
-weight will be under 3700lbs
Through extensive use of carbon. Panels, roof, wheels etc.
-price would be under 250k
Wow, where is the ceiling in HP and Torque these days? I love that C8 ZR1 look, so MEAN!
Last time we heard 1,000 hp with hybrid and AWD was the 918 and the La Ferrari. Screw supercar, this would make it a hypercar! Let the Z06 wipe out the supercars. Zora will handle the hypercar's!
It's definitely changing things that's for sure!
Can somebody tell me when this 900 horsepower hybrid ZR1 is supposed to come out so I can buy it?
A V-10 motor in a Corvette would be something to think about in the future.
Na make it a 12 cyl 10 cyl sound like 6 cyl.
WOW MONSTER 💯🔥🔥🔥will be killer & I believe it . Appreciate the info & Happy Thanksgiving ! Salute 😎
No problem, my friend! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours as well!
I’m all for this! I’m also all for the rumored Corvette Sub-brand!!
What if the Z06 comes with the option to go AWD??
It could have the option!
HorsePower Obsessed I sure hop it does lol. I have an allocation for the new C8 and I’ve been battling myself on whether or not I should just wait for the C8 Z06.
I think the Z06 will be the sweet spot.
weight is an issue for a track car like the z06
T Croft that may or may not be the case with the Z07 variant of the C8, we’ll just have to wait and see. Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see how GM pulls it off and I’m sure it will be exciting.
You said the ZR1 would be a lot heavier, but some weight savings will occur with the engine change. The 5.5 will be lighter than the 6.2. The Blackwing is probably related to the 5.5 engine, the biggest difference will be the flat plane crank. You can bet there will be some commonality of parts to save money.
It's going to gain a good bit of weight from the hybrid stuff, but hopefully the weight savings other places will even it up.
Now GM is revealing the true potential of it's engines 🔥
Good luck GM. I hope you get it done.
Too bad you can't simply add/replace sections with a carbon fiber monocoque structure... or can you?
This is exactly what I'm waiting to see...
Good thing my order was placed two weeks ago for Zo6
It's extra beast AF with those specs.
Agreed!
I'll wait for the Grand Sport , hate the sound of a flat plane . No real improvement ,other than marketing thinks that is the way to go. The electric front drive should be available on the Grand Sport that, and some aftermarket twin turbos should be all I need !
If this is correct and looks like this i will some wha tbe happy as a gm guy ! But i need consistently and something similar in the zl1. This will definitely be out of my price range !
Cant wait for mine. Im getting it in 2021 though. I wanna put half down because im a mechanic and not rich as some of you guys are. Mine will look like C8R. Im a tuner. Ill be stripping the car when i get it to make it my own. 2 new Borg Werner Turbos and possibly hitting 1500hp. Leave it to the tuners to make double and triple horsepower. Theres single cam hondas out there raping cara but wont look as good as the C8. Dont really care about electric motors. Thats 4 systems to fix.

Thanks Justin GM successful Corvette just keeps getting better. What do you think the base pricing will be for Z06 & ZR1? Thanks again great video thumbs up have a super evening.
I'm thinking 90k starting price for Z06 and 140k for ZR1.
@@HorsePowerObsessed I agree

I was hoping 85K, if 90K I will be waiting for the discounted option. No official leaks on cost for Z06 or ZR1
Thank you for making my predictions come true Chevrolet....Corvette forever🏎⚡️
That C8 ZR1 is going to be nuts.He said that “it might push into Supercar territory” LOL more like Hypercar territory. It looks like GM is looking to challenge Mclaren’s 720S and the Porsche GT2 RS with the new C8 ZR1 💪 If you look at past history, Chevy has always been up for the challenge of building a Corvette that will rival the fastest supercars out there. Now will be no different.
Agreed!
That's quite possible.
The Z06 will be the best to have. You still get lots of power, not too much weight and decent price. But we won't see these for another 2-3 years in the showroom.
Agreed.
Yes please. I’ll take one, put me on the list.
Tht gray car at the start of the video OMG I might get wet dreams thinking about tht c8- ZR1!!!
Oh ok I didn’t know the vette should be lighter than the camaro never really pay attention to the weight
Instead of making a complicated hybrid system, I would've put a bigger LS engine in it (like the 427), twin turbo it, and make a transfer case to send the power to a front diff. In any case, we'll see how it'll all turn out. 🤷♂️
@VAMPYRE ANGELUS 😆😆😆
Well if we’re hearing about a Zr1 maybe the Z06 is closer than we think.
Literally the title of my last video! 🤣🤣
Seems an odd PR strat to talk about the ZR1 now tbh. Now sure why they are
Good video👍 I love it!! Count me in, do we know when will it be out?
Maybe 2 years.
Sounds very expensive! The zo6 and zr1 both are already in super car territory. I’m more concerned with style and looks rather than horsepower. 700 HP should be enough for anyone. Especially if the aftermarket products are present
And what is the estimated C8 ZO6 price?
I'm thinking the Z06 will start around 90k.
Can you imagine this with that all wheel drive setup who’s fucking with America now.
It will reign as king
Always does!
Super car? Wouldn't that be approaching hypercar territory? I think Corvette's have already made it to the supercar territory a long time ago. Maybe I'm mistaken and don't understand the difference. Whatever, it looks like a badass car regardless of it classification.
Only one thing left, rear wheel steer!
That would be interesting...
They can do it the CT6 has it.
They might have to add rear wheel steering if they want the car to change directions. It's heavy, and RWS is a great method of negating that lumberwagon feeling.
With the maneuverability it has and if it has that much horsepower nothing will touch it
Agreed. It will be a beast for sure.
I need 2 jobs so I can get my hands on one of these
The whistleblower??🤔 Come on, I couldn't resist!😀👍🏿
🤣🤣
I think the large trunk area is for TWIN TURBOS! Boom, there’s your 900 horses!
It will be twin turbo charged in addition to the electric motor.
Price???
Estimate? 140 to 150k.
Whats the zr1 look like?i mean the real look
Whats the pricing????
I guess RIP everyone!
We Say HELLO ?
HEMP !!! FUEL !!! ...
When is the Horse Power peeing contest going to stop?!?! Oh ... never mind. This channel is called "Horse Power OBSESSED, after all. I'm just fine with the 495 that I have coming to me. :) :) :)
🤣🤣
That is going to be a whole new kind of animal with all wheel drive and nearly 1,000 horse power.
Then when they get the weight down ..... Wow !!!
Cf/carbotanium/ti etc = cost
Getting that weight down is the big concern for me, but as stated below... That means more money.
Great video!!! Thanks for the update.
Thank you! I appreciate the support! 👍👍
I can't wait to see the next generation mid engine Vette!
Verry good report!!
Thank you!
Do not believe there will ever be a 5.5L flat plane crank engine for production cars.
Start believing.I cant believe you dont believe it.
@@camirocz There is none out there for a reason.
@@allsportsexpert Rubbish. Lotus has had a flat plane crank V8 with twin turbos and DOH cams since 1996.

ZR1 900hp DCT AWD TWIN TURBO rear mounted? Lord have mercy.
Currently, I am more impressed with lower weight than higher power. If they could manage a 3700 lb ZR1 (which won't happen), that would be great. Would prefer the Z06 lose lbs and touch the 3400 lb range. Again, won't happen...but a man can dream...
Agreed. I'd like to see them shed as much as possible.
The base C8 Z51 Corvette is already a supercar, the Z06 and ZR1 will be hypercars.
I heard of this engine at least 6 years ago. Think two Quad 4's with a common crank.
Come on guys, the silver car in the pics are just renderings. Probably won’t look anything like that. So many comments about it. And no, no corvette will take sales away from Porsche or Ferrari or even Lamborghini. It will be amazing but they buyers are very different.
Damn those renderings are badass
Agreed!
Keep em coming Justin!
Will do, my friend! 👍👍
ISMH, why would GM go Turbo now, than using the Supercharger in the C6 & C7 very well for the XO6 & ZR-1. I bet they go back for instant power.
QuietStormX I’m thinking with a mid engine they can’t get the air it would need for a SC
@@sxsmarine4075 The Engine sits low enough for clearance and air would be no problem with their skills of directing it for more needed for another Supercharger like the ZO6 & ZR-1 have.. Instant than waiting for boost of any turbo setup.
QuietStormX I would like to see a SC. Much easier and less cost to put more power to the car with a SC then a turbo depending where they cut the boost in the ECU. I love that the z06 will be naturally aspirated motor.
@@sxsmarine4075 GM will include a Supercharger again for the Other Models expected for the ZO6?ZR-1.
I am on the list for a Z51 C8; hoping that Chevy will duplicate my last order...in 2014 placed a Z51 order for a C7. Jan 2015, Z06 announced. Changed order to Z06 that I have owned since March 2015. A track demonstrator since I am an SCCA racer and instructor. Please Chevy make the same happen a Z06 announced in two months! I do not wish a ZR1 for bragging rights. A flat-plan, well-balanced 3,500 lb, 600 HP refined large brake Z06 will be the ultimate street machine DE event machine. Racing remains the duty of my race cars. Chevy has the ability to market three tiers: C8, Z06, ZR1 and be a market leader in all categories. The C8 race machine will be the test bed for the next production engines. Amazing news. And while we are so excited about C8 heaven, look at what Audi is doing for high-end electric machines and EA now partnering with Ford for the Mach-E. Markets are changing fast folks. The high-end sports car of the future will be???
