During the Shibuya Incident of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, both Hanami and Dagon make big moves against people like Satoru Gojo or Nanami, Naobito and Maki Zenin. We all know that hanami dies and so does Dagon after having a big 4 v 1 brawl. But what if Hanami didn't join the fight against Gojo and instead switched places with Dagon? Let's find out.

Nah, worst come to worst, gojo would have killed him after getting out of prison realm. Mahito has a lot of potencial and all, but he would have just called the atention of the strongest sourcerer and at that point it would have been over. Besides kenjaku needed to absorb mahito to use his ability, so he probably would have hunted him down at the end of shibuya. Maybe the fight would have lasted longer, but lastly mahito would have still died. I know people is gonna say mahito's potencial is unmesurable, and I agree, I just dont think there is a timeline where he doesnt die before reaching the pick of that potencial. No allies, both sides kinda in favor of killing him and both sides having a lot of people able to destroy mahito and even if he reaches the culling games, wich would only happen if kenjaku used his ability, if he encountered kashimo, ryu, uro, angel or higuruma, he mostlikely would have died

I think relative to the sorcerers dagons hp was so high that what he was losing didn’t really matter.
I think that nanami would be able to harm hanami because yuji is shibuya was compared to him in attacking power.

I actually think Hanami would have more trouble than Dagon considering he was pressured to use Domain by Goodwill Yuji & Todo. A more experienced pair of Grade 1 sorcerers + Maki with Playful Cloud could probably exorcise it high diff.
Goodwill Yuji and Nanami scale pretty closely and Naobito with his technique active has to hit harder than Todo. Hanami was being steadily damaged by Yuji & Todos punches so I think Ratio in Overtime & Projection Sorcerery would be effective.
Also by Shibuya, they should’ve received intel about the disaster curses, since Gojo knew about Hanami’s eyes being a weak spot.
They would definitely need some Black Flashes from Nanami to pull it off but it’s not impossible.

Yeah, I was gonna said that. They would absolutly know about the curse energy bugs, especially cause maki was there when it hitted megumi. The question is how fast can they adapt to the roots. Because they can act in a similair way to dagon's domain, overwhelming nanami since he can't ratio them all.

If Dagon was there instead of hanami, would gojo go for jogo first since he would be the one out of the group he's seen the most. Hanami does have a weak point that counters it’s high durability, I think maki knows that it’s branches are its weak point.
Hanami was damaged by good will yuji who should scale a bit below the version that’s AP=nanamis.
Without a domain hanami wouldnt be able to easily take out the 3 sorcerers before megumi helps.

    • @AnonTDegenerate
      @AnonTDegenerate 6 месяцев назад

True about the domain, but she could probably pull it off since her CT is incredibly busted. Sure Maki and they all have information, but you also need insane strength to capitalise on the branches. They go deep. Like pull them out for several seconds deep, and I don't think Naobito can do that. Definetly good damage tho.
Then the issue comes with Hanami using the roots akin to Dagon's domain, as an endless swarm with the cursed buds. Naobito can't counter them since it's not a domain but then again it's also not instant. Maki would be one shot by the buds since she can't dodge forver and she has no control over her CE.
Once it's Naobito and Nanami, her only chance of winning is killing Nanami. Her best chance is the flower field or simply the roots or traps like she used on Todo.
Naobito on his own? He gets washed, because she knows domain amplification. Which just takes away his speed, strength and basically entire kit.

  • @pixelated4068
    @pixelated4068 Год назад +20

[This is before watching the video, all of these comments are made PRIOR!]
Yuji and Todo were capable of damaging Hanami on their own with pure strength and overwhelming it with a confusing CT. Nanami is comparable to Yuji in terms of strength [or is believed to be such by Takuma], and factoring that this is a Yuji Post-Black Flash being compared to Nanami's strength [with Nanami both having access to Ratio Technique + Binding Vow reveal + Overtime] that is a Nanami way above his regular striking strength and potential as a Sorcerer.
Next, Hanami needs to somehow overcome Naobito's Projection Sorcery, with both him freezing Hanami and out-speeding him. This now leaves little-wiggle room, if Hanami is still the same level as curse that it was when fighting Yuji and Todo. Naobito's individual strikes were also enough to HARM Dagon, and so he should be capable of dealing significant enough damage to Hanami.
Next, Maki. Maki is a bit of an oddball here, as in both fights she was disregarded without the usage of Playful Cloud and only became a significant game-changer following her being equipped. So, if you have Maki begin the match with Playful Cloud, there is basically only two routes for this battle to go.
One - The three immediately HARRASS AND EXORCISE HANAMI. Those three are more than a match for Dagon, and would have knowledge of Hanami's kit [with information shared across sorcerers] with the exception of Domain Expansion, and with the awareness that Hanami CAN use Domain Expansion, it is more than likely they'll attempt to exorcise it with more effort than they would've, trying to make sure it gets dealt with before it gets the chance to even pull out a domain.
Two - Hanami pops a Domain Expansion and starts popping each sorcerer like how Dagon did the trio until Megumi comes on in and accidentally leaves the door open for his, literal, dead-beat of a father to walk on in and clean up the trash before engaging in the family reunion and beating up his son.

Honestly a very good dissection of how the battle would go but I think you did miss a few details such as the flower bed which would stop their movements completely even if for only a moment it would allow him to take control of the battle especially if he pops his domain and then he has the option to perform the same trick and then dip against toji now I don't know how recent this info is but we do have a vague idea of hanamis domain due to an interview with gege and it's a flowery pasture with a debuff I believe he said and with the ce beam he was going to use against yuji and Todo as the sure hit so if he pops his domain he most likely kills someone but besides that again I think you're dissection of the fight was very good and went pretty in deft on the scaling

@@irrelevanttroll3312 Jogo is a little slower than a healthy Naobito, someone who is faster than Yuki and Naoya. Naoya was faster than Maki, someone who is exactly as fast as Toji. And no, Maki isn't faster than Curse Naoya, she was only able to dodge him because Curse Naoya only moved in a straight line, and because she gained a semi-precog. This means that Jogo is actually faster than her. Her being able to keep up with a 15F Meguna can be explained by Meguna holding back, as he tends to do so with things that interest him(and we know that Maki interests him), and by Sukuna not holding back as much with Jogo, as Jogo had that Binding Vow where he only needed to hit Sukuna once to win, something that Sukuna would likely not risk.
Now with it established that Jogo is faster than Toji, let's talk about his firepower. Him not killing Nanami or Maki in Shibuya doesn't mean that he couldn't do so, as we saw from the Gojo fight in the forest that he can create much bigger attacks, and we even saw in Shibuya that he can blow a whole skyscraper apart. He also possesses the Ember Insects, which explode when stabbing something. These can act as Homing Attacks that Toji would need to avoid. He can also spawn those Volcano-Pimples, which he could do from unsuspecting angles and places as we saw in his very short fight with Naobito. His most powerfull attack is however Maximum Meteor, which is incorrectly assumed to be slow, as Panda and Kusakabe managed to seemingly avoid it. This is however not true, as we see that Panda transformed into his Gorilla form and mentioned that he lost a core. Kusakaba also looks injured, with him likely surviving via Simple Domain. With Kusakabe being stated to be able to fight with Special Grades, it's likely that Maximum Meteor would also be able to catch characters of that caliber. Maximum Meteor could therefore be a finishing move incase Jogo somehow gets into any trouble.
Jogo would likely understimate Toji at first, as Toji would appear to posses no CE. But he would quickly change that opinion as Toji would be able to react to his attacks and be able to dodge them, likely through his semi-precog. Jogo would likely then launch barrages of attacks at Toji while keeping his distance, Volcano-Pimples and swarms of Ember Insects trying to cut of Toji's way of escaping and trying to overwhelm his precog. Imagine a less extreme version of Sukuna vs Jogo from the anime, but replace Sukuna with Toji and have him struggle to keep up. With Toji being slower than Jogo and with Jogo keeping his distance, the only way that Toji would be able to hit Jogo would be to attach the ISOH to the Chain of a Thousend Miles, but the chain can simply be destroyed, and Toji wouldn't be able to do that as he would be focused on not being overwhelmed. This would lead to Toji being wittled down and losing.

We have nothing contradicting Ino’s statement either. And he was comparing Yuji to Nanami not the other way around. He said Yuji might be as strong as Nanami, implying they’re relative or Nanami is slightly stronger. Hanami is used as a benchmark for durability, she's probably more durable than dagon.
Author statement is that hanami and Jogo are roughly equal, but Jogo would win 'only due to elemental matchup'
Then Jogo is stated to be on a different level from dagon as soon as he shows up.
So just from that Hanami is considerably above Dagon, she also has insane hax and crowd control, like speed's not a problem when you can just ram the entire room with plants, can't miss if you hit everywhere at once.

Bro you really underrate dagon so much . Bruuh dagon without his domain was giving naobito, nanami and maki hard time :
A special grade 1 sorcer + 1st grade sorcer + 2nd grade sorcer (by miwa confirmation about maki) while hanami was getting bullied by a 2 1st grade sorcers (todo and yuji) . I think that the only dangerous attack from hanami is the one that sucks CE but as we seen an unexperienced version of itadori was able to dodge all of them so it's not a big deal (todo and itadori also dodged easily that flower attack that catched gojo so it's also not a big deal ) . Hanami can't grow up forests cause of the small place where they were fighting so he can't.
I do think that hanami doesn't even survive against the trio and he's not that durable since attacks from a 1sr grade sorcer made him bleed while dagon received nanami's attacks like they are nothing so dagon is way more durable than hanami. Then the trio will be super damaged and exhausted so that will lead to jogo coming and finding toji and that will change all the events completely (10 fingers of sukuna are thrown next to jogo's dead body ) and that won't help itadori and sukuna

hanami probably would have gotten the job actually done and killed them before toji came.
Naobitos projection sorcery would be very limited due to hanamis constructions as they would restrict naobitos movement making him more likely to not be able to maintain speed and even slip up on the predetermined movements.
Additionally, Hanami would likely just tank Naobitos hits and could use the flower field to make him stop mid movement and freeze.
After naobito goes down, nanami and maki are dead meat. Megumi probably arrives on the scene as they die and then gets folded by hanami.

Brcause dagon literaly said that he couldnt do anything against his speed without domain expansion and even then he only activated by that weird stomach drawing thingy which naobito didnt expect.
In an actual fight how i think it would go is either naobito punches him a couple of times and hanami starts cosplaying hashirama or naobito catches him in a hidden lotus and beats his ass until either megumi comes and they rip hanami up with playfull cloud or worse until toji come and negs hanami even easier

1.Dagon doesn't let down his domain amp. The plan om their side goes mooth af and Kenjaku shows up to seal the deal. No loses.
    2. Again unlike Dagon, Hanami actually uses his surprise attack on the three and at least takes out Maki. As you've said Hanami will do alot better than Dagon against just the remaining two possibly taking them out, but definitley doing heavy damage. Megumi shows up and again doesn't really change much and Hanami still has the advantage. Toji showing up is where we disagree. Hanami is gonna get molly woped a little before quickly deciding I'm out. And if an unfinished 10 shadows allowed Megumi to constantly evade him then Hanami the master of 'nah f dis' is definitley making it out. Leaving Toji with Megumi and their interaction goes as we saw. No loses.
This changes things drastically cause we might even see Sukuna vs Jogo, Dagon and Hanami instead of what we got or they can split up and we get Mahito and another curse vs Yuji and Todo.

i remember dagon being stronger then hanami, so if they switched ngl i think the jujutsu society wins.
my reasons for this is that todo and yuji could beat the fuck out of hanami, so maki and nanami with the old guy easily overpower hanami until hanami's domain which wouldnt matter as much because megumi would be there by that time.
Gojo would have to fight jogo, choso, and dagon instead of hanami which would make it a tad bid harder for him, which i think would mean that since it is more difficult to him he wouldnt have as much weighing on his mind about the humans dying. so maybe gojo would notice the prison realm and back up away from it or something because him killing hanami made him realize that he COULD kill the rest of them somewhat fast so he started to worry about the human deaths more, when if dagon was still there he would realize that he has his hands fuller with the cursed spirits

Yuji at the beginning of Shibuya (so basically Goodwill Yuji) is said to have equal striking power to Nanami, and I’m assuming that’s 80% Nanami, no overtime. Even if we’re assuming Ino is biased in Nanami’s favor, then at most let’s assume it’s closer to Overtime Nanami (120%). In either case, Nanami should still be able to steadily damage Hanami like Yuji can.
In addition, Naobito should also be hitting at that level with Projection Sorcery.
I think Nanami’s “endless HP” comment is referring to Dagon’s cursed energy, that it feels like they’ll never be able to put him down because he’s just got so much energy to reinforce himself and heal with.
Nanami is used to cutting through curses like butter with his technique (he could even take Mahito’s arm with it), so facing someone who he needs to use the technique to be able to hurt at all has to be a new sensation for him.

Now imma give my version of this fight
Let me tell you toji would’ve got Absolutely railed
Now before you say it who survived a hollow purple and who died to a weaker hollow purple I rest my case
Hanami would start by killing naobito as he’s the strongest one she would the beat nanami to pulp realizing this is the man who jumped her best friend
Ending it off by cutting maki in half finishing what she started then megumi would show up to the blood shed and get whooped but do to megumi being megumi he opens his to which Hanami being annoyed that she didn’t finish him already she would open her domain has well shooting a massive beam of curse energy at megumi burning half of his body, toji shows up to save his son instead of fight and they would jump Hanami being some issue Hanami remembers todo and yuji doing a black flash she does this to toji knocking him out being extremely angry that megumi is still alive she goes to kill him but megumi being the absolute coward he is runs away. Toji is disappointed by this and kills himself i anger and sadness realizing that gojo didn’t teach him anything. Hanami being angered and confused at the sight of something like this she just goes and convinces jogo to resurrect sukuna but not pick a fight as she wants her best friend to survive.
Hanami is special grade curse for a reason she is insanely powerful she survived a hollow purple while she was weakened she is the goat
    Goatmi
As for the Dagon, jogo, and choso. I don’t anyone anyone dies cause Dagon is motivated by determination and hate but since there is nothing to hate the determination is the leading factor also since instead of Hanami the weakest distaster curse is there they have to be quicker jogo surrounds gojo with fire, Dagon shoots a bunch of fish at gojo confusing him and choso actually becomes useful and traps him and kenjaku traps him
There we go that’s how I think that would work

Honestly, I think this is mostly wrong, more so that the results end up the same rather than any kind of drastic turn around where hanami is decimating the team. He isn’t even touching naobito who is the fastest sorcerer behind gojo, who has 70ish years of experience as a sorcerer, and is the leader of the zenin clan who are pretty strong. He may not be able to do much, but that still makes it a stalemate for hanami outside of a domain. Not to mention that he was so fast Dagon admitted he couldn’t even use his techniques, so the same could likely be inferred for hanami, but I suppose that’s debatable. Dagon also had the inherent advantage of smooth skin, which is y playful cloud had to be sharpened anyways and also a big reason y nanami was doing nearly no damage. If his cleaver was sharp, it likely would’ve cut through Dagon at least a little, but it’s blunt. Hanami doesn’t have this advantage, and an overtime amped 7:3 is definitely doing more damage than a base goodwill yuji punch that hanami admitted does damage. The things he’d have to worry about mostly are the spawning and respawning trees, since with as much experience he has, and likely info on hanami’s techniques I doubt he’d be hit head on with a cursed bud, but maybe he gets blindsided who knows. Either way if naobito combos like he did on Dagon, hanami isn’t getting that off in the first place. Maki is falling behind and will stay behind until Megumi pulls up with playful cloud, but honestly by then it’d probably be better to just give it to naobito so he can actually do some damage. Either way tho, the only way hanami is objectively winning is through domain, and without any showings no one can say how strong it would be, or its technique so the only assumptions that can be made are that he uses the techniques he already uses but they are sure hits. Anyway maki and nanami are immediately out of commission with rapid fire cursed buds probably killing them, and nanami using FBE would defend against all of them. Since they aren’t as big as the shikigami, he likely wouldn’t be blindsided, but even if he was, multiple students that should be significantly less durable that naobito have taken hits from hanami and had relatively little damage done to them. So to be generous, a hit from hanami likely would cause naobito to break a limb. Regardless of what happens, FBE gets deactivated upon taking this hit, and naobito gets hit by a sure hit. It’s a stomp if hanami uses DE, but if not then he gets dog walked by drunk naobito. Then Toji shows up and destroys hanami with about as much ease as he did Ino since his hits won’t slip off of Hanami like it did Dagon. It’s literally the same scenario, except he’s less effective and takes more damage outside of domain, and more effective taking no damage inside. Results r the same with the Toji match tho. That’s also only considering that naobito doesn’t last long enough for megumi to show up, but he likely wouldn’t so I won’t even humor the thought because if he does, it’s likely back to square one since all hanami has now are stronger stats, but he’d still be slower than Jogo which naobito is faster than so it’s hammer time.

TLDR: not a stomp for hanami as the video suggests and the events go down relatively close to how it does in the story. The downplay on Dagon and Naobito is wild in this vid fr. Respect to the channel and anyone’s opinion, but at least give naobito some credit as the strongest zenin. Like the only sorcerers debatably quicker are obv Sukuna and Kashimo, but maybe hakari who technically isn’t a sorcerer so wouldn’t have been put in this speed test. However he keeps up w Kashimo in base so it’s likely. There’s even implications that Toji/maki aren’t even faster than naobito, they just have an advanced level of precog and spatial awareness that grants them the ability to predict him and dodge at the last moment.

@@bromous1446sukuna isn’t debatably quicker, he is quicker, and so are toji and maki. The zenin clan confirmed that if toji wanted to he could wipe the clan by himself if he wanted by didn’t, and curse naoya is much faster than naobito ever was which maki was fast enough to react to and beat. Curse naoya even mentions how tf am I not overwhelming you in speed during the fight, and we know that maki and toji are the same at that point. So no, naobito isn’t faster than any of them

I actually disagree with this take for Hanami. I feel like Hanami would have to use domain expansion to stand a chance. We saw in goodwill that a serious Hanami was getting mixed up by yuji and todo. Then by this point in the series as this is a curse that maki has already fought she would give information about Hanami's abilities so things like the curse buds or the sudden appearing and disappearing of Hanami's attacks wouldn't be an issue. On top of this while Maki's physical stats by Shibuya is weaker than Yuji she still has great defense and was able to knock Hanami a considerable distance back with playful cloud. With that just being Maki's stats it's completely unfair to add Nanami and Naobito as Nanami has black flash which we have seen to do considerable damage to Hanami and Naobito's speed is going to mix up Hanami the same way boogie woogie did. We can also assume as Hanami isn't battle lusted it would probably be it's first time using DE so when Megumi does eventually show up it would be another tug of war situation. Then considering the fact that Dagon with amps and DE only really did so much damage because our crew was swarmed by cursed spirits Hanami's would probably be easier to deal with but that's just speculation. I do agree they would still have to hold out until Toji shows up but our crew would be nowhere near as damaged with even the possibility when Jogo shows Nanami isn't completely burned to a crisp and can stall Mahito until Yuji shows up.

    • @khulmach9662
      @khulmach9662 Год назад +2

Dude, the entire reason Hanami was fighting was to stall and Todo's technique was the only reason they were both able to have fair combat against Hanami.
Yuji did 4 black flashes because he was able to considerate and enter the zone with a Black flash, that is not going to happen with Nanami so easily.
The fighting area is smaller and Hanami can control it with her plants.
Yuji's strength did not matter, its was Todo's technique that let Yuji even get hits on Hanami.
Hanami's domain would be way worse for a sorcer than Dagon. All she would need is 1 hit to plant the curse energy draining bud and Naobito and Nanami are out.
Hanami's durability may also allow her to survive longer until Jogo shows up.

Both NO and BR conceited that durability wise Hanamin>Dagon. And this is false, because in Good Will Maki does the same damage to Hanamin as she does to Dagon in Shibuya, most likely being a stronger maki this would make Dagon tougher than Hanamin, and Ino thinks (he could be wrong here) that Yuuji is as strong as Namamin, we don't know if he refers to ratio, extra hours, or base, but if Ratio extra hours can't hurt Dagon, and GW Yuuji does harm Hanamin this would definitely give Dagon the tougher one position.
I do agree with them that Hanamin is the stronger fighter, being more versatile outside DE, higher battle IQ, and probably a higher growth potential. So I would give the verdict that the fight would be almost the same, but not knowing how does Hanamin DE works and not having her flower bloomed I'm betting on them doing better against Hanamin than Dagon

No. Hanami has a strong expansion, he creates a field of flowers that takes away the will to fight. Just like Dagon's water, this can interact with Toji.
Toji says that as long as he used a weapon he would be visible to the barriers, meaning he wouldn't be able to escape the barrier.
