Great video like The way you went over in detail what you did to the bike I have a 1300 and dig some of the same modifications you did except for the air cleaner I have a K&n air cleaner in same shocks same progressive fork springs LED headlight LED turn signals Mustang seat 1800 is definitely the one to get if you're doing a lot of highway driving for me the 1300 at my age 75 is perfect Nice try but be careful going around some of those terms you got to be concerned that a deer or something could fly out in front of you
Your bike looks and sounds great. Thanks for taking us along for the ride. That is some beautiful scenery and roads there. Was thinking it was a good spot for a picnic, til u started talking about the bears...😊 Q's : The Rotella oil u are using, whats the go with that ? Are the rear progressive shocks much of an improve over the standard jobs ? Same for the front springs ? Ride safe, make it home, and do it again. Kindest Regards. 🍻👍
@@colinm1325 The Rotella T-6 15w40 helps with smooth shifting and keeps engine wear low. It is JASO rated for wet clutches even though it’s primarily advertised as a diesel engine oil. The progressive shocks in the back are great and I have matching progressive shock springs in the front forks. I found that the full benefit of the rear shocks wasn’t realized until I also had the front forks rebuilt…. Essentially if the rear shocks are much stiffer than the front shocks the bike almost rides worse than soft front and rear shocks together. The bike rides so much better now with progressives in the front and rear, also the front forks have new seals and dampers
My VTX1800F is the best handling V-Twin bike I've ever ridden. Ride safe!

That may be so. Have you ridden many Ducatis ?
@colinm1325 I should clarify and say V-Twin CRUISERS🤣
