This is such a golden nugget piece of information. I've been following you since 2018 & you don't know how much my career has skyrocketed thanks to your tips. In a selfish world, it's really hard to find someone like you who genuinely cares about helping people & advocating on employee's behalf. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤

I am grateful that I am employed with my current company but I definitely plan to apply to a new role by the end of the year. My current manager received a promotion after 10 years with the company. That’s way too long honestly! It might have worked in the 80s and 90s but the climate is completely different now

@@SelfMadeMillennial My company has a lot of tenure! It’s rare in this climate! My coworker retired after 45 years with a company and with a pension too!

Hi there, I need some advise. Although I am based in Australia but your videos are coming in handy. Thanks for that. I migrated to Australia 2.5 years back. I have experience in HR from India and I also have post grad degree in business management. When I moved to Australia, I was fortunate to work for a small business for 10 months last year as HR officer but the business ceased due to business decisions. Now I am back to search for a job. With 7 years of hr experience from India and 10 months in Australia, how can I make sure I can apply the right positions and it stands out too. Do I need to go for any certifications? I am reaching out to my network and looking via LinkedIn, seek and indeed. It’s been 2 months where my application is not being selected , or the jobs stands expired on portals sometimes . I need some genuine guidance here please. ❤

Every time I leave a job even changing industries it is for more money or more hours. With the exception of when I was desperate. I settled for some minimum wage once.

Darn, got laid off by our Narcissist Executive Officer, so now I have to add the layer of being UNEMPLOYED to the competitive nature of today's absolutely ridiculous job market.
If you fail to value your team's talent with fair compensation, sooner or later, they are going to become competition.

Bullshit. This generation doesn't understand the face to face. Everything is tap tap tap. Don't get back to you. HR personal can't use on once of pressure to open an envelope. Must be hell. Blah, blah.

Please stop using up-talk….where most of your sentences or thoughts end like a question. It makes it hard to hear what you’re actually saying.

I disagree, as a presenter Madeline's voice exudes confidence & knowledge which are quite quintessential. Maybe the user above can lower the volume or slow the video down.
