  • I’m debating on if I should upgrade my MX four or if I should cut my losses and sell it and buy the ER pro SS?

      Yeah it’s so vast out here. It’s like a old wasteland. So old in fact that they found Woolly mammoth bones out here. And now want to take away all of our riding.
      The real kicker is that a guy on an ATV found the bones and now they want to stop all ATV’s.
      Crazy how that works.

      Yeah that bike looks amazing. The real reason that the Surron was so great was because of its weight. By being so light it makes everything so much more fun. Soon as you add weight to these bikes they just become another dirt bike.
      By keeping the weight under 140lbs makes the bike feel so much faster and just just more fun to ride.
      The E-ride pro being 135 lbs and 72v is just a winning combination in my mind

    I chose the mx4 over the eride. Mainly because I like the gearbox better. After seeing the sting r beat the eride pro with the Torp controller, I’m glad I bought the sting. Just ordered the Torp controller.

      I love the gearbox it makes the bike so quiet and smooth but it’s the cost of upgrading it that is my main concern. I sell my bike and buy the e-ride pro I’m only in a extra 1200$ if I upgrade my Talaria I’m in 3200$ minimum so I’ll take the extra noise if I have the extra cash in my pocket and I’m riding 12kw.

      I have not decided yet. I’m still flipping my coins. I love my mx4. It’s a tad heavy but other than that I love it.
      So the nuclear controller Or Torp controller and then a battery I’ll be in 3000. And for 5000 I get the ERide pro ss.
      Man it’s a hard decision

      Yeah they are.
      I’m all about the total weight of my dirtEbikes.
      The mx4 is amazing but it’s on the heavy side. It weighs 155 lbs.
      The E Ride Pro ss is coming in at 137lbs. And is 4000kw more powerful.
      So 18 lbs. lighter and 4000kw more power is a huge deal.
      But they are great bikes.

    • @mrKushmann1
      @mrKushmann1  10 месяцев назад +1

      The bikes will have about the same power but the difference is the weight of the bike and the battery’s voltage.
      The suspension is about the same.

      @@mrKushmann1 eride pro is pretty nice I have to admit. I already ordered another one for my son. Probably selling the Talaria’s. The power it has, brakes, pegs and riser bars with nice headlight and on off switch all stock its pretty hard to deny its the best out the box setup. I was hitting 63 mph on the speedo, its fast. And after doing some research the mx4 is limited by the rpm of the motor so with a controller and battery it will only go so fast, you would need to upgrade the motor. For 5200 its probably all the average rider will ever need, the brakes really impressed me they feel really good when pulled and stop the bike immediately. I put shinko 241’s on before I ever rode it

    • @mrKushmann1
      @mrKushmann1  7 месяцев назад

      Yeah I’m coming to that conclusion but now with the tc1000 by Torp. On your stock battery you can pull 25kw or something.
      I’m looking into it for sure.

      Yeah but you put in another 3200$ and your weight with that battery change went from 150 to 178+
      I know it would be faster but I’m looking for a light weight rocket that I don’t have to upgrade.
      I’m trying not to be into it for 8000$

      @@mrKushmann1 I got everything on Black Friday so luckily it was a 2500$ upgrade. The battery only weighs 8 pounds more. I weigh 230 so it's no big deal I have 85 forks and 18 21 tires I still throw it around lol

    • @mrKushmann1
      @mrKushmann1  9 месяцев назад +1

      Wow your bike sounds sick.
      so your bike with all the upgrades has to weigh around 185lbs.
      I think that’s what the Talaria boys bike ended up weighing.
      I’m sure it feels amazing with the 21in front tire and rim and with the ktm forks.
      But your total has to be 8000$ if not more.
      I know the Talaria would be better bike all upgraded but the weight and the total price is what gets me.
      Don’t get me wrong, I love the Talaria.
      I just don’t want to throw another 3000 at it.
      And I’m afraid that putting the nuclear controller on my 60v battery then pulling 12kw is going to give me like 10miles total range.
      I mean it would be a fun 10miles but I need more range than that.
      My normal rides will be around 40miles.
      So that’s just won’t work. I’ll definitely need a battery upgrade.
      I’m actually thinking of buying the e-ride pro before I sell the talaria and what ever bike I like better I’ll keep. I
      It’s like the only way without being able to test it out before I buy it.
      I just did that with the Apollo RFN. I bought that thinking it was going to replace my Talaria but I was underwhelmed with its power so I wound up selling that and keeping the Talaria.
