Project 24 is our membership program that teaches you how to work toward replacing your current income with income from RUclips channels and websites in 24 months.
Project 24 is a product of Income School LLC. Results mentioned are not typical. The trademark “Project 24” refers to the goal of some people to create a successful business in 24 months, but is not a promise or guarantee of that success. Many online businesses fail because, like any business, it requires hard work, skill, and dedication. Before making business decisions, consult financial and legal professionals licensed in your jurisdiction.
Wanna know a secret? This was our secret weapon video! We made it months ago. We so meta 😎
Over-posting for large channels will destroy your channel.. I was posting 1x a week.... now just 1x every 2 weeks - drastic improvement! Look at these large channels with super low views... They have over-saturated themselves out of too many videos, too little views with way too many subscribers.
We have seen some of that too. I love that you changed up your publishing schedule and saw some improvement!
Guys you are the main reason my channel is growing
Wohoo! Seriously so glad to hear your channel is growing and we’ve been helpful. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for showing that one can have success with messy backgrounds. I'm in a crowded studio apartment and cleaning the space is daunting and absolutely impossible to maintain for more than a couple of days. The other issue is that due to circumstances the constant setup and breakdown is itself a stopper for me. While I have professional cameras, lighting, and audio, perhaps just shooting with an iPhone and a cheap wireless mic will allow me to get more done. Ironic but none of that should impact the value of what I present all that much. Time to move forward! Thanks for the inspiration.
I’m having the same challenge at present with refurbing my studio. I’ve just used nvidia broadcast to sort this for the short term
I'm so glad this helped you! Sometimes we get a specific idea of what our videos have to be, but it ends up holding us back. Sometimes we just need to step away and be willing to try something new!

Great suggestion on having a few videos scheduled ahead! I publish every week and usually have 8 videos scheduled ahead, so even if I get behind, there is always a video coming out! My type of videos can take lots of time to produce & edit, so I really need a bunch ahead in case I am sick, or maybe something comes up & I can't publish this week. Thanks for the great info. Many will benefit from this!
Wow 👏
I thought channel's failed because they don't watch Channel Makers. Thanks for sharing this awesome, interesting and informative video. Love 💗 Channel Makers.
I really needed this video. I will rewatch it.
Can I ask what mic lapels you are using? The sound quality from them is great - thanks!
Yeah I need to know as well
We are using the Tascam DR-10L. It's listed here in our starter gear setup

@@ChannelMakers brilliant thank you!
@@NerdChorus the microphone works lovely!!!
I appreciate the calm, practical advice. Also, great to see a number for the average video output before monetization. Great lil video you pulled out of your back pocket here!
I love how you guys discuss barriers! It's the small things that hold us back from creating so always choose the path of least resistance to make your videos. 💪
Energy... that is the real bottleneck for me. Thanks for the good conversation!
You're welcome! You've got this!
@@ChannelMakers This is a secondary channel, but it may become bigger than my main.
Appreciate this video guys! My little channel needed this~~~
Keep at it! :)
This vid make me feel like i'm still on the right path, thanks!
Yall are so underrated! 😂👏🏾
The secret weapon video is a top tip!
As for getting to 134 videos, for me I think creating youtube shorts as well is a doable strategy since they are a lower lift than longform videos.
Realy nice video
Ah this rung home... i have time i just dont have the energy w these two boys . I got to stop confusinf that with no time and get to work. I have to push through
awesome videos
Do u guys think sometimes its better to scratch a channel and restart and try again w what we already know
I've thought of trying this. Started a new channel, got 11 views on the first video lol
I could see that in some cases, but it would be a difficult call to make.
@@ChannelMakers i just wonder if i have to many shorts subs
@@GRUBB-MUDD Are you wanting to pivot to a different content format?
@@ChannelMakers not really, i just think my long form would do better if i re-stsrted and posted zero shorts on a whole new channel
Channel makers: "it takes an average of 134 videos to reach monitization"
Me at 142 and still miles away from monitization: "well crap"
"The odds are ever not in your favour." [GOLD - haha]
A schedule has been my toughest part of being a creator. Creating videos is fun-filled for me and I feel I could upload ad infinitum...I do however need more watch time and more strategizing!
Frank! Great video. 😜😉
🤣 Thanks David!
Great video!
Wise advice! Hey, Frank, is that post-it note with your name for you or for us? 😂😂😂
ha! That was a name tag from another video :)
I keep looking at your MBP at the edge of your table....scared that the laptop might get dropped on the floor 😁
😅 I didn't even notice it was that close to the edge!
@@ChannelMakers 🤣🤣
Video suggestion if you guys get a chance. I would love to hear your opinion on if SEO is really mattering less. A lot of people have been talking about this because RUclips seems to be pushing out channels and they don't seem to have any type of catch words/searched phrases in their title. A lot of times, I have trouble coming up with video ideas because I feel like my ideas aren't well searched for, but then videos I make with out much seeming searchability seem to do well
Great idea! We'll add it to our list!
great advice
I'm making better videos than I ever have, investting time up front in research, elevating the viewing experience with higher retention scripts, and posting content more often... as a result my channel is starting to decrease in views and seemingly begin to wither away undoing years of progress. I took me close to 200 hundred videos and 2 years to get monetized. And only a few months of investing more into the channel for it all to fall apart. What's your take on this???
So you're saying only 6% of creators are monetized. I wonder if the number is about 1000/4000 monetization or even the 500/3000?
I believe that info was put out around a year ago so probably 1000/4000 -Julia
@@ChannelMakers Interesting fact. I got a theory that the reason lots of creators quit/fail is because of the time limit to reach 4000 hours. I mean after a year the watch hours start dropping by each day, that is so discouraging..
Almost at 600 subscribers on my heavily car infused exploring channel
I'm at 244 videos and still not monetised loll is true that many my video are short (3 to 5 min). I'm changing my strategy lol
It looks like you're putting in a ton of work. Congrats on 2k subs! That's exciting. I think you're on the right track, slightly longer videos will help you get the watch time you need!
Im more mad that i sgned up paid and didnt use any of the nenefits of the p24 program. Life lesson
Sorry to hear that. Was it a time issue?
@ChannelMakers it was a me issue LOL procrastination! BUT I love yall and of the advice. It's really worth it.
I have some stupid advice to share: you don't have to create a video in one go.
Sounds stupid, but for a long time, I had this mental block making me not start a part of the process because I couldn't do it in one go.
Not stupid at all! Thanks for sharing
You guys need to stop hiring actors and hire people like me small independent contractors that’s makes content on THIER OWN and that haves a audience already
Julia and I (Nathan) both have RUclips channels AND have years of extensive experience working on multiple other RUclips channels. :)
You are so pretty
