I also have one for 300 euros. Advice from a friend on the other side of the world. Where the water passes is aluminum. If you research, you will discover that when a liquid passes through various types of metals, chemical reactions happen, mainly with a mixture of aluminum with others. Wear and gum creation will happen everywhere. The way to prevent this is to use proper liquid for mixing metals. A good liquid for cars suitable for aluminum heads and these are guaranteed that you will never have problems. Hugs from Portugal

I have had the Hong Seng for the past 4 years with no issues and it is great! I only fill a full size carbon dive size 12 l and it takes about 45 minutes to fill from 200 bar to 300 bar. If you use ice (2 large bags) you won't go over 55 C with ambient temp of about 25-27 C.....and 40 l of water....good luck!

Well, congrats on finally stepping up to a compressor. I hope the unit holds up for you well, the base units on which yours was based has a pretty sketchy reputation but hopefully the "Gunroom" guy knows his stuff and has made it a bit more reliable. Next step is to get a storage bottle which will again improve your quality of life by freeing you from having to run back to the compressor every 50 shots.

Purchased one of these Yong Heng compressors about a year ago and its still in the box, the one I have only comes with the small filter. I have the Omega 4500 PSI compressor that I have been using for about 5 years now. The Yong Heng only cost about $268 US from Walmart on a special sale. (Great Backup in case my Omega stops working). My Yong Heng does not have auto shut off but you can get it with auto shut-off for about $75 more, it also comes in 110v or 220v. I really need to un-pack it to see if it works. I could not resist the low price. I think I gave $1800 US for the Omega, big difference in price that's for sure. When I first got into PCP airguns I had a hand pump, lets just say that after 3 weeks I sold the hand pump before it killed me and purchased a scuba tank. After the first year of running to the Dive Shop 50 miles away and using up my time spending $75 a month for air it did not take long to figure out the Omega would pay for its self pretty quick. If you want a compressor just check out Walmart.com and you can find an affordable deal on these.
