With the new runes you can have an abyssal number of companions, resulting in insane damage. I tried that on PTR having around 20 companions while every companion stacks the damage buffs.
I'm honestly all for it. Diablo 3 was smooth in terms of gameplay, but it lacked content. Now it's the best of both worlds. It's no Diablo 2, but it's not terrible at this point.
d2 players already departed. hard grinders and semi-souls lovers. however d3 players like me , love this changes. especially i am a huge fan of fighting hordes of enemies , destroying their limbs and make everywhere blood. this is right direction for modern arpg. next step should be armory. changing aspects , items and pragon tree is pain in the a...
I had an item or skill on my Druid that was “killing an enemy with a werewolf skill makes your next werebear skill cost no spirit and it has no cooldown. And killing an enemy w a werebear skill gives your next werewolf skill a buff also”. I can’t remember which item or skill that had it but it’s gone now 😞
The only version of druid i want to play is a pure storm druid but it seems the devs really dont like that because they always nerf storm skills and buff the stupid ass shapeshift and earth builds like bro cataclysm did not need a nerf and neither did thunderstruck
I really hope Shred gets more buffs, it's so much fun but so far behind the meta. That shred aspect looks sick though and the change to bestial rampage is huge! Having to stay in either form for 2 sec made it too tedious to play with. Now we just pop debi roar and bam, both buffs stay up basically forever
I always go druid as a first character. Did it in D2 original, D2R and in D4. Every single time Druid sucks ass and im disappointed. I always like the concept of companions or nature magic but everything about Druids just suck in comparison. Maybe these passives will make it feel much nicer. Also on the topic why I like Druids is exactly why Spiritborn seems like a really good choice.
Don't think the companion build will be strong enough for endgame, but only good for leveling. In the PTR with lvl 100 glyphs I could only get to mid-80s pit. The current patch notes add some damage to companions, like an extra 10% on key passive and another 25% companion damage node on the new board, but that's not going to nearly be enough to get to t100 pit. Looks like landslide will be the only build in Season 6 to push pit 100, but I guess we'll see.
I plan on reworking my Lightning Wolf to he being a pack leader of werewolves and using staff of the crone or the Shard sword for claw. If not ill be using shred with the wolf pack.
@@theunfazed7109 how many years before the druid has half of its unique items and skills from d2? the druid has been my favorite for 20 years, and in d4 you basically have 3 builds to rotate for two years. it makes no sense not to have all of the great druid features from d2 that d4 is missing. jalal's mane, cerebrus bite, more spells the list is long
I honestly think this a big miss on the druid. I feel like a big rework on the spirit boon system is a must. It still takes the longest to get the class specific mechanic and not enough of them are impactful enough. I would like to see something similar to the necro book of the dead where there are maybe only three options per boon but make them more impactful. Having to do multiple quests plus collect 100 spirit orbs per boon takes way longer than any other class. Also, without a serious change to spirit generation, druid will still be the slowest leveling class and unable to efficiently manage spirit without key aspects or uniques
You’ve been playing it wrong then 😂 this season I literally started farming Uber bosses as soon as I got my build together with aspects and normal uniques. No GA’s no mythics. Solo btw
69 skill points up from 59? Do you mean 68 now? Unless I’ve been playing it wrong there’s 58 sp right now. No points at level 1 and paragon unlock at level 50. That’s 48 points plus 10 from renown

D4 slowly becoming D3 but with the right damage digits lol
Well they need some space above. So they can slowly getting the numbers higher.

As someone who never played d3 I don't see how it's a bad thing the game is awesome now and apparently going to be better after this update

This is the class I'm less excited about, but this video kinda makes want to start a Druid.
Please let them show the Druids some love this time, I want one as my main alt .......

amen brother
Great video! Will materials and aspects collected transfer over to season 6? Previous seasons I had to start from scratch.
Thanks for the video
Ive been a druid player since day one so spirit born class looks great to me

Im not a big fun of alot of these changes but im still hyped for the DLC.. Minion necro is what im running like every season.
I'd be more excited as a Druid main but Blizzard made a far superior Druid with Spiritborn 😂
It's nothing like the druid bro. It's more akin to the monk, just with some magical spirit summoning.

think I"m going to start with Druid.
I'm not seeing any compelling reason to deviate from my beloved werebear build. Maybe tweak it a bit, add the new poison, etc but that's it.
Anyone know if they are adding the rebirth system back? I know its such a small thing but it was so convenient 😊

Don't forget you are also required to complete a stronghold as well. Takes 3-4 times longer to unlock than other classes.
After running incinerate, I'm turned off on channeled abilities. To dangerous to not move in Hordes
still pretty fun to play with
Still no lightning bear, I was hopeful, oh well, PoE 2 it is.
the druid is a fun class to play but it always seemed pretty weak and still does even with these changes

New passive deletes poison creeper on the field of battle

Could be counting the new area with the expansion you will get another skill point there with the renown.
Lacerte still sucks?
