I’m convinced that Calvarie is inspired by the motorcycle scene in DMC 3, but they just didn’t have the technology at the time to actually implement it.
Dante has so much cool shit in this game that he is actually quite difficult to fully control. It's like the has a mind of his own even during gameplay. Hell, sometimes you do completely unexpected combos because you forget what button does what and that's part of what makes this character so much fun to play.

They integrated the majority of the Sword master learning curve into its base moveset so you don't need to go into swordmaster to get any of the skills like aerial rave prop shredder and so on. Dante's combo 1 from dmc3 has been a part of his brrady and butter combos for a long time. If anything dmc3 was the only game to include the crazy combos I'd have loved for those to come back in dmc5 in a way.
I've noticed something on Dante's blow mode. He has 2 stances the first one is where he covers his face with his left hand and has his right hand by his stomach. His second stances is where he covers his face with both hands and bobs his head left to right(on some Mike Tyson shit). I also noticed that Dante fights southpaw because he has his right foot out and jabs with his right.
Balrog for me personally is very versatile weapon,you can chain a lot of combos,both with punch and kick mode,the best gauntlets and grieves Dante has got to date.
DT Revolver (i guess is faster and creates some ice spikes with impact), DT Hot Stuff (makes a wider red flame) and DT Percussion (summoned lightnings spreads) are missing. Still the best video on DMC5 dante moveset, obligatory like!

this game and all the various movesets just shows why this dante and the whole crew are so much better then the last dmc game, the amount of creativity that you can have with all of dantes weapons and malee attacks plus the balrog just adds another dimension to his character but the last game was so bland even in this department.

You’re partially correct. Cavilere is based on designs for a motorcycle weapon for DMC2, but they didn’t have the tech to make it at the time

The Sparda Sword is really underrated. I thought sparda sword will unleash its full potential in dmc 5 just like what happened in dmc1.

Well, you can still use it, it's available and you can switch on the go between rebellion, sparda and dsd.
