Hey Nate, there are two things I'm noticing that you may want to add to your list too. When you plant your rear foot you have it almost pointed fully backwards leaving your back hip completely open and not assisting you with power at all (it may even be costing you power by essentially making your rear leg dead weight). Also watch your timing with firing your rotation and compare it to slow-mo of pros. You are firing your rotation before your front foot is fully braced (you don't need a straight leg for this, you just need full foot contact). Because of that, I believe your throw is extremely core-driven and I don't think you are hardly getting anything out of either your "brace" or your rear leg. Just something to consider. Excited to watch the progression!

Amazing progress in a short span. You're exactly right that your nose is way down and you're so used to throwing launch down to compensate, you're burying everything!

Congrats on getting your Seattle A2 back, my man! One time I left my sweet Innovision Star Lion on a hole, went to sleep, woke up in a panic realizing I left it there, remembered exactly where I left it, jumped out of bed and ran straight to the hole, found it. No better feeling!

Let’s go Nate! That form is looking so good at the end. You’ll get used to the nose angle, just gotta keep reaching down!

Practicing form during a round is brutal. Good luck and trust the process!

Thanks for showing how hard it is. And how we take the journey to try to better ourselves. I’m going through the same journey right now trying to figure out how To improve and shit its exhausting!!!

Part of that practice sponsor you were mentioning last vlog must be setting you up with a net to throw in possibly? At any rate, enjoying your process Nate.

Dammmmmage, crazy. My boi living the dream 👊🏼 I got in a round today, tried out my refined form, was okay after I warmed up. I don't mind field work, I bring out 2 white buckets and use them as points of reference and throw back and forth. A local 7-year-old saw me throw and said "you throw far!", lol. That's right, crushing 220' standstill like a beast!

Playing on a course is most fun; but I can't concentrate on form when I'm doing it. Field work at the soccer field is boring, but sometimes that's not enough when working on form (since you're focus more on result/how it flies). Throwing into a net is boring af, but you can pick your discs up in under 10 s, and you're not focused on results (flightwise).
(I use the soccer goals as net tho)

left a streamline jet on a par 5. came back a week later, and the disc was still there. I'm not sure if no one played or if no one wants that disc

Don't play a round to change your form.
Get to a field, practice the new form over and over and over again.
Then when you've got it fixed, go to a course.

Just my 2 cents, but I think the most impactful form fix for you will be externally rotating your shoulder/bringing up your elbow and lowering your reach back. All 3 go together. Hebenheimer and Klein do a great job of exaggerating this.

I had the very best disc retriever that would help with your problem with practicing long drives. Breezy the golden doodle dog. She never left even a dent in a disc.... well with a lil training. But man she'd bring a disc back everytime. Sometimes someone elses disc. Lol.... consider a light knee brace

Khufuhk said it... Try to slow down the run up focus on making the x-step smaller, left foot pointing to the side not back, start the coil/reachback when you set the left foot, NOT before. Reach full coil when the plant foot is firmly on the ground and then go. Do NOT let the off hand go in front (it keeps going forward) unless you take it back aka swim move. Your shoulders rotate all the way through the swing. Find a net, throw in that, that way you have time to record and watch the videos. Good luck my friend

Had the same issue with my pivot, try "stretching" or "flexing" your toes up.. I guess curling ur toes would be considered flexing... so do the opposite, this immediately made my body move my pivot to my heel without affecting my throw after a dozen throws or so.

Asked an Am buddy I have for form advice and he also pointed out my swing wasn't on a straight line either. I tried working on it a few days and looking up anyone's form/tips and noticed they don't do it, so why should I?

You have to fix your back leg and use it to drive rotation into the brace.

Is your thumb position the same since you dropped your arm? Thumb position closer to the edge will bring nose down, closer to the center will bring nose up. That last clip was the best ive seen your form.
