Perfect trail for the Smuggler, I’ve got the exact same bike, perfect geometry for me. I’ve only ridden eastern Washington dirt once, it was up in the Sun Mountain/Mazama area, different then what I’m used to. Seems like better visibility without all of our underbrush, but I don’t mind it creates good shade for those hot hillclimbs.

I did ski hill for my first two runs on rosie and ribbed. And then drove over to freund parking spot to do the freund canyon loop. It was a long day hahah

I rode the smuggler for two years and honestly there wasn’t a trail that was ever “too much” for the bike! I loved that rig.

Depending on skill level this one is a lot of fun! If you're not to comfortable with jumping Rosie Boa and Freund Canyon are great as well.
