Materials I used in this demonstration:
20"x20" Deep Edge Level 3 Artist Loft Canvas
Tri-Art Fluids: Payne's Grey
Custom Colors: light blue/grey, dark blue grey, sage green
TLP Pigments: Prehnite
Mixed Media Pre-Mixed Paints: Cosmic Teal
Golden: Extra Heavy Modeling Paste
NEW COLOR PEARL CELL RECIPE:
3 Parts Flood Floetrol - US
2 Parts Behr 7300 Satin Enamel - untinted
1-2 Parts paint of choice (or .5 part fliuid paint)
1.5 Golden Color Pouring Medium Gloss or GAC 800
Pouring Medium for PUDDLE/POUR OVER/DUTCH POUR paints:
50% Floetrol 50% Golden GAC 800
Puddle & Dutch Pour Paints mixed 1 pt paint to 4-5 pts PM and water to consistency (This is the ratio for highly pigmented paints like Golden, Amsterdam, Pebeo, etc)
No silicone used for cells. It was all the layering of the paints that made those cool effects.
