First off, your color pallet is gorgeous! And wow! You got beautiful results when you worked out your problem. I think it's great that you share your struggles. It makes those of us who learn from you feel not so alone and bewildered. You are a great teacher, Tara! It would be so great to come and learn from you in person. 😊✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
Thanks so much Tera! I really am glad that this worked out. Much of it is thanks to the Shelee Art Facebook page! It is filled with loads of helpful info from others who have struggled and figured things out as well! I'm so thankful for them!❤️🙏😊
Beautiful color palette! Stunning bloom, I am happy the second one worked out for you!
Me too! Thank you so much Debbie!❤️🙏😊
Very cool experiment!
Thanks for taking us along for the ride on this one! Beautiful results + great tips = win/win! ❤
Thanks Nikki! Nothing like a forced experiment! Boy that is frustrating when your cells melt!
Great color combination. I'm glad you figured out what was causing the problem. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thanks Claudia! I’m so glad too! 😅❤️🙏🏻
What a great experiment and such a beautiful result Tara. ❤❤❤
Thanks so much Carol! I'm so glad it worked out!❤️🙏😊
pheeewww. I'm glad you figured it out, girl!
lol! You know I was struggling!!! I’m going to try the Behr dynasty next! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much!! I thought I was the only one that had that problem with Josonya.
Your welcome Jessica! I found help in the Shelee Art Facebook group! There are many many out there struggling with the same problem and have come up with great solutions!❤️🙏😊
Gorgeous Tara!😍
Thank you Mira!! ❤️🙏😊
Loved the experiment, great to know about this issue and how to fix it. Love the colour combo ❤
Glad you enjoyed it Sherry! Thanks so much!❤️🙏😊
Great info Tara. I think both pieces were very pretty. Love from NB Canada!
Thanks so much Brenda! I really appreciate you watching all the way in Canada!!❤️🙏😊
I too started using the GAC100 to wet my pigments and the results are soo much better! This is gorgeous and I can not wait to get to be your helper in Asheville!! Much love my friend! 🤗💕
Thank you so much Treesie! You are such a doll and can’t wait to see you! ❤️🙏🏻☺️
Pretty!! Both of them.
Thanks piggy! ❤️
Thank you 🫶
Your welcome!
Hi Tara. Thanks so much. So funny. Sometimes this happens to me and sometimes it doesn’t. Made me wonder about the manufacturing of the paint Love these colors. Thanks for the research and help. ❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much Lori! It was just getting too frustrating so I had to go back to the drawing board. I'm glad this is working for now!❤️🙏😊
So beautifull 👏 😊
Thanks Domi my friend! ❤️🙏🏻☺️
Very pretty, great experiments Tara. I absolutely love fluid art but I’ve never encountered something that had soooo many variables attached to it…color, brand, additives, climate, weight etc. 🤯
Makes it all that much more fun to play with in the end I suppose ❤.
Absolutely!!! So many variables!! LOL...sometimes good and sometimes bad!❤️🙏😊
This is good to know. I sometimes too have this same problem with that mix. I will definitely be buying me a bottle of Gac 100. Thank you for your experiment. :) See you soon!!!!
Your welcome! 🙏🏻 ❤️ See you soon! 😘
I'm so glad you shared this. I have been having the same issue. Thank you so much! I can't wait to try the gac100.
Glad it was helpful Amy!❤️🙏😊
I’ve been having the same problem with this receipe ! I must try the gac 100 ! Thanks so much for this video !
I hope it helps Susan!❤️🙏😊
I was having issues with my cells shredding apart. I found a product that I am using that so far has worked great. I am so glad you found a solution too. Really pretty Tara.❤
Thanks so much! What's the product? Please share!! I'm always looking for tips!❤️🙏😊
@@PiecesofTaraArtistry Pebeo Studios Bindex. But Amsterdam makes a great acrylic binder as well. Happy experimenting Tara.😀
Thanks so much!
Beautiful Tara! Great experiment,& I have the same issues when I use the josana 🥰
Thanks so much Heather! It is so annoying right?!❤️🙏😊
@@PiecesofTaraArtistry Yesssss!! Super annoying! Lol 🥰 😆 ♥️
Love these colors, & thanks for the information ! I would be in Asheville taking your class, you are in my home state! if I could, but my daughter graduates medical school that weekend! So I had to choose her over you😊😅❤
Well, I guess your excused! 😆 Thanks so much. Maybe we will meet again another time! ❤️
@@PiecesofTaraArtistry I hope we will meet again too! Wishing you tons of success & fun in Asheville 😁
So glad I watched your video because I was having the exact same problems!! I use Behr 8300 and Minwax Polycrylic gloss. I’m definitely going to get some Valspar!! You’re awesome! Have a great day! 😊🩷
Thanks so much Rose! Just a tip I forgot to share in the video. Valspar is pretty thin so you may need to thicken it up with a tiny dab of gloss gel if you are using a mix of tubes, fluids and pigments to get them all to the same consistency!❤️🙏😊
@@PiecesofTaraArtistry thanks again!! Good to know!! You’re the best! Have a great day!
The second one has amazing cells. I use Josonja but not my favorite because I feel it's greasy. (If that makes sense). I mix my pigments in minwax or a mixture of water with Josonja. Great video. I am going to try GAC 100. Thanks
Thanks Betty! I hope it works for you! ❤️🙏🏻☺️
I love the composition of that first one but that stinks about the cells. The second one dried perfectly!
Thanks so much August! You know this bloom thing can be a beast! I was on the struggle bus! 😆❤️🙏🏻
This is gorgeous. I love the magenta cells against the black….yum! I thought the first one was pretty, too, but I love all your work. Beautiful color palette! Does this mean your are done using the Josanja? Thank you!! 🩷🤗
Thank you so much Kathy! You are so sweet. And I'm not going to say I'm done with josonja, but I'm saying I'm done for the time being...😉❤️🙏😊
Hi Tara, I am excited to meet you in person and learn from you in Asheville! So, with this new way to avoid wonky cells, how do you wet the pigments? Same way with josonja? My PM is 50/50 Valspar/behr.
Hi Padma! I’m so excited to meet you! And no I don’t use Josonja. I use GAC 100 to wet my pigments. We will discuss that in the class! ❤️🙏🏻
No problems with JoSonja, mayby more water in ca
Im glad you aren’t having g problems! As I said in the video…this is a problem I was having regardless of the tiny amount of Josonja I was using. Others use it successfully…I just could not. I did figure it out and this video is for all of those that were having the same issues as I was. Valspar is very thin to begin with so I’m sure it has to do with the combo of Valspar and Josonja. Now that I have no need for Josonja I’m thankful to be able to eliminate it from my studio. 😃
I will definitely be trying out the GAC 100 vs the JoSonja - the difference between the two paintings was incredible! Gorgeous color palette 😊
Thanks so much! I hope it helps!! 🙏🏻❤️☺️
