    Excellent, picking up the ball off the opponent's paddle and moving is the foundation to consistency.

    quick maths:
    7/8 =! 3/4
    7/8 = 3.5/4 == 87.5% win percentage... significantly higher than 75%. Love your stuff, Christian!

    why do you cross step vs shuffle step to get back to ready?

    • @pickleballplaybook
      @pickleballplaybook  3 месяца назад +2

      Cause your momentum is going in the opposite direction so it helps you get back quicker 👍

    Hi, I've been watching your RUclips videos for the past week, and they're really good. You're doing a fantastic job as a content creator. Do you face any problem by continuing your youtube journey?

    Why cross step on the way back instead of side stepping the same way we went out originally? We would still be facing our opponent...

      I would like to know too. Also, in the last drill it looks like you are crossing after pushing off as well as coming back in.

      It helps you recover quicker cause your momentum is headed in the other direction. The best thing to do is to watch Jannik Sinner in slow mo 👍

    I noticed you running backwards in some of your drilling. Could you comment on that? I know there are exceptions, I just want to be clear.
    With all due respect, this is one of the best overall videos I have seen and I have viewed many. Thank you for creating this and posting it.

    Just go with your normal ways of walking to avoid tripping over yourself and falling. That is my advise for the older players. I am over 60, I dont want to learn new ways to move.

      These help you to not injure yourself. Moving efficiently is also moving more effectively
