Talamati Lion Pride hunt and bring down a Buffalo Bull.

In an incredible display of teamwork and strength the young breakaway pride led by its wise older female were able bring down the huge 800kg beast.
Hunting such prey is very dangerous but the rewards are worth the risk.

Common misconception about lion is that people think all adult males have big mane which is not true. I can't tell if those lions were subadults and if they were they should be banished by now

@@Pantherachadris They would be banished if a dominate adult male where there, but its not, Dark Mane is the father of those sub adults and he is currently alone on other site, in fact he is looking in bad shape, a few days ago one of those sub adult male was roamming with him, so for the moment there is not a dominant male rushing things on this boys, and no new adult males teying to take over those females

It depends on where in Africa - all adult males in Southern Africa have full manes, in parts of eastern, central, and almost the entire western Africa, even mature males have minimal mane. It has a lot to do with the local climatic conditions.

Looking at these lions, I can roughly imagine how saber-toothed cats hunted. As far as I know, they also hunted in groups, like modern lions, so they could kill almost anyone, from bison to young mammoths
