Thank you Jessica, for sharing your painting knowledge and process with us. Color mixing is definitely a learning experience…mixing to make greens is sometimes quite challenging so thank you for your insights about that…and suggesting you make big enough piles of your mixes on your palette as it can save you time. As a watercolor plein air painter I feel like your process still applies. I think the paint holder which closes is fantastic for saving your paints. Ireland…wow! Beautifully green! (so one better learn how to mix a variety of greens)😊
Jessica, I love your videos. I've been to Ireland, my daughter lived there for 5 years. We went to Doolin. I love Doolin, actually all of Ireland. Absolutely beautiful peopleband countryside. We went to the pub. You're paintings are anazing. Thank you.
Thanks so much Jessica, great video, great painting in such a beautiful place. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺. And yes Ireland is so beautiful . But 30yrs experience you say, no way, you must have started as a baby😂.
Thanks so much, Michael! Haha! I began teaching when I was 18 while attending the Atelier, I’m 48(!) 😬😂 how’d that happen!? But, thanks for making my day!☺️
Lovely Jessica. I am spending fhr summer near Lahinch, County Clare and I decided to bring gouache paints and gear with me (from California). It’s a wonderful medium I am finding out. Do you ever paint with gouache? Thanks for your videos.
Thanks Pauline, have fun! County Clare is gorgeous with a lifetime of painting possibilities. Gouache is a nice medium- I’ve used it a bit, but my preferences will always be oils and watercolor. (A great in between medium, though!)
I speed them up 50% but choose not to go faster than that since people enjoy following along. I like that my channel offers something different than what else is out there. I’m considering doing quick time lapsed videos for TikTok. Thinking about it- only so many hours in a day~ 😅
Love this painting. You have done this view so well.
Great video as always. The hints on mixing the greens helped me a lot. Thank you.
