Simple Watercolor Plein Air Painting with Jessica Henry Gray

- Hi everyone! I've been asked to do more watercolor plein air videos, and so I am happy to share this simple little exercise today. I hope to demonstrate that the process of creating watercolor paintings outdoors is approachable. I will be introducing more complicated watercolor plein air paintings in the future, but for those who may just be starting out, I wanted something not so intimidating.
Happy painting, friends! I'll see you next week with a large (16" x 20") plein air oil painting demonstration. I head out to a beautiful river lined with lovely spring colored trees. While I focus on other elements of plein air painting, (finding a scene, composition, trees, etc.) the emphasis is on painting water~ I am excited to share that one with you!
