Making cold process soap from the infusion of dandelions in canola oil. Dandelions are beautiful little sunshine 🌞 in the grass. It glows with a wonderful yellow color that I wanted to transfer to my soap. I dissolved the dandelion fluff in lye and it added a bit of color. I wanted the soap to be a bit interesting, so I colored it with red clay, turmeric and titanium dioxide. I used the hanger swirl technique.
It smells divine of Lavender, Litsea Cubeba, Lemongrass with a drop of patchouli.
I am very happy with how the soap turned out. I hope you will like it too💛

When I taught a soap class I told them to swirl until they thought it was too much and then do a couple more rounds. As long as the trace is medium or thicker it always turns out well. I LOBE it!❤

You made some beautiful soap and nice swirl. I just infuse my dandelion. Do you mind telling me your essential oil mix percentage ? I want to try that too.
