Definitely perfectionism/fear of failing or falling short so why bother. That, combined with or perhaps because of focus problems. Sometimes it feels like Groundhog Day, where I have the same list of goals from the day before for days, weeks on end. Then I'll have a mini productivity spurt where I think, "This feels so good. Why can't I be like this all the time?" And I don't know the answer.
My main excuse is not knowing what I want . World is full of information and new job. It's really hard to find my "dream job" or "capable job". maybe i need coach as you Mr :)

@@camez2345 I try to create a bit of a warm-up that starts off with a short meditation (or just sitting quietly for a few minutes, OR a quick nap if I really need it! ) then turn on some tunes and the music helps me transition. Also just committing to doing a short workout, even if its only 5 minutes helps build that discipline. I can always do more, but I don't want to reinforce my excuses. Hope any of that is helpful!
@@TheOneLifeSchool Yes, it is helpful. That's really true about committing to only five minutes, because you probably almost always do more, but even if not, you've kept your promise to yourself. I'm thinking this is the way to go for me, too. Thank you!
Brian Tracy touches on four critical points about facing obstacles that are within your control that could be keeping you from achieving your goals. First, we all make excuses but you need to take accountability for your actions. Second, there’s always more to learn, especially if you approach life’s challenges with an open mind and a beginner’s mindset. Third, time is limited, so you need to prioritize your time around what’s important to achieving your goals. Fourth, you have to get out of your comfort zone and push yourself to grow through change. What obstacle is holding you back?

My excuse is that I just don't have it in me to be successful. I fight this by writing down my successes so that when I look back at them I can see what I'm capable of and what I've achieved.

What's the reason behind achieving those goals? Is it for you, for someone else, or because you think it's what you should do? When it's something you really want to do, you will make time for them. My personal hold back that I have had to spend a lot of time working on is fear of being successful. Took me awhile to even realize that was what was holding me back from achieving my goals. That, and letting go of attachments/ outcomes. It's some really tough stuff that keeps us away from what we are truly meant for. Good luck!

Good stuff! 👍🏻🌺🤙
I feel like it should be easier and quicker to achieve success and so I don't *consistently* put in time and effort
My laziness and negative impact is holding me back .I have to refresh myself through exercise both physically and mentally
I completely agree. I use exercise /dancing to help transition from lazy mode to doing mode
How do you guys motivate to exercise when you really really really really don't feel like it?
Excercise (both mental and physical) is a great way to refresh and reset!

What if you've gone several years without achieving your goal(s) and you no longer feel positive because it's been so long without reaching them?
