Is that miso paste you're using? Couldn't understand (not native English speaker here 😘). I never had miso paste so I don't know the taste of it. Thank you for this recipe
I don’t like liquid smoke, but I’d imagine you could substitute it for tamari or soy sauce. Can you use potato starch instead of agar? I’ve heard that on cooking with plants. But never made vegan cheese; so apprehensive. Looks good. 👍🏼
loved this tutorial so much! "then don't make the smoky one!" I just have a Q about the use of coconut oil - can you sub coconut oil for other oils? I love sunflower oil because i tend to find it adds a slightly buttery taste to anything I add it to (thinking of sunflower spread i guess?) so I would love to try it in a cheese recipe! before i go ahead and do this... is it a bad idea? ( I guess the same question applies for using soy cream instead of coconut cream?)
Hey there I am from Mexico City I tried to make this twice and I didn't succeed, it doesn't get hard and the agar I bought has an ugly salty taste what can I do to get things tight
you made this recipes???are you using agar powder or flakes? make sure its powder. And you have to add the coconut oil If you didn't. I am guessing its the agar brand or you used flakes vs powder..if you did the measurement is different.

You could probably add smoked salt since you have to add salt anyway. Just a suggestion.

I think the point of the coconut oil is that it is solid at room temperature
