Soooooo stoked about this loadout! I got all 3 inbound + A complete SF-1000 evo (h) in a 2.3 x 2.3. IN GERMANY BRAH! Crazy cool days ahead for this 1st timer here!
Light manipulation. You can use each one differently or all together to just boost overall spectrum. Check out the "Emerson Effect", use far red for that. Red of course is good for flower. UV is supposed to encourage trich production in late flower.
Yo, J! So, Spider Farmer has this dope side lighting kit, the Glow30 I believe? --can you do PAR testing with and without the side lighting kit alongside a decent Spider Farmer fixture? Thanks man, I'd love to see what the added results are if any!!
Yeah I did tell them I wasn't a fan of the cord situation but they did include plenty of zip ties to do some wire management. This was just the easiest solution for me. I didn't want the wires laying across the light or attached to the light.
I have asked if they wanted to since I did a fan for them but got no response. They may be afraid of the 4 corner PAR meter. Maybe you should ask them.
IR......... 15 minutes before main light goes on UV........... from week 5 bloom to harvest 2 hours a day, in the middle of day ie. bloom light from 18:00 to 06:00, UV on from 24:00- 02:00 deep red entire bloom cycle just as main light ie. 18:00 - 06:00
Those lights did work. They just don't have the same output per watt that white does. It's kinda funny that we're now adding them back in but it does make sense. I got great results adding blurple lights to HPS years ago.
@Justintime2grow I wouldn't mind seeing a blurple comeback. I mean surely mixing reds with blues in along with 3000k and 6000k spectrum has to be good (I say this no evidence backing it at all) The industry was kinda heading that way with the blurples + white cobs but then quantum boards, bar lights and full spectrum took over.
My Growmee, those uvb lights are dangerous for you. Eyes, skin, not a good idea to be in there when they are on. Ir, morning and evening 15 minutes. Deep red for lower growth. Uvb for 5-15 minutes per hour. Loving the new Mars Lights.
@@gordalla2957 not really. People use UV tanning beds all the time that are exponentially stronger than this. These are not very strong compared to UV from the sun. Better not go outside either fam. 🤣
Do I need to? I'm testing the spectrum and output not debating the benefits. Anyone searching for supplemental lighting knows why they want it anyway. Would you like to explain it for the class sir?
These are great additions to any of the FC and or FCE series but upon buying all three sets they didn’t come with the plastic bracket to install them so if you have a gorilla grow tent or AC Infinity tent you can’t really hang them with the hangers given with the product. I ordered 6 sets none came with the plastic bracket…. Wrote the company and they said I had to wait 2-3 months for them to make more. I ordered the deep red lights ain’t even getting sent out until April 5,,,smh, what a bummer after dropping over $1000 on upgrades all mars “none sponsored” as well……just a real disappointment especially after waiting so long to try them out as a company…..
Yeah that sounds strange. All 4 of the boxes they sent me had 2 brackets each. They actually sent me a 4' bar package by mistake and it had the brackets too.
@@Justintime2grow yeah you can see there responses to me on there you tube page, I addressed it directly there as well and they said 2-3 months, go check it out I posted on there ad on there page and you can see there responses and apologies. Wish I had brackets can’t use till I get them it sucks🤯
@@TheBeardedIrishMan I talked to them and they said yes their first shipment didn't have brackets. Now they do. They told me to tell you to message service@mars-hydro.com for help. Best I can do man.
So I like your videos man but I feel like they’re lacking an end par map, you definitely do show the light intensity at enough points but it would be incredibly helpful to just see a par map that you made with your own testing instruments, I’m really just looking for third party testing, you do cover this information but I don’t have time to try and construct my own par map after watching the individual measurements you give, I just think this would be a useful thing to add for the people, I can see how this would also be a ton of extra work so no worries if this doesn’t happen but just figured I’d give some feedback
I test all 4 corners and the middle and I do it on camera. If you want to look at par maps made by others OFF CAMERA and then blindly believe them feel free. I'm not making an hour long video on each light showing me making an entire PAR map and I'm not going to do ANY testing off camera. I want you to see it being tested. I want you to see if I screw something up. Anybody can make a mistake, lie or exaggerate off camera. Might as well just look at the manufacturers map. Some of these light reviewers are in the pocket of the company that paid them to review it to begin with. Don't just blindly believe the off camera testing if they're making money off it.
@@Justintime2growI think what he means is a par chart at the end of the video with the measurements you took in the video. It's obviously extra work on your end to edit that in but your viewers (myself included) would 100% appreciate it. Either way thanks for doing this, I just got a fc-4800 and didn't realize it didn't have UV and IR, glad to see I can add them on with these. Too bad they're so expensive for what they are.
How may people actually tested these type of lights to see any difference in trichomes production plant stretching I did and it doesn’t work 😂at least not in LED it has to be a gas light like an HPS light and it only comes in blue spectrum because that’s the only one that works with evidence ☮️☮️not hating on your commercials

Nice! Enjoy!
Justin where did you get that spectrum device, that thing is awesome?
I got it direct from hopocolor in china. It was like $850.
I’m thinking about buying these for my fc-e1500. What are they actually doing? More tricomes? Bigger buds?
Light manipulation. You can use each one differently or all together to just boost overall spectrum. Check out the "Emerson Effect", use far red for that. Red of course is good for flower. UV is supposed to encourage trich production in late flower.
@@Justintime2grow okay nice! But can I connect them to my mars hydro app so I can set timer in my app instead of using 1000x timers? xD

I'll have to talk to them. They haven't been sending much to test lately. Mars has been sending a lot.
Just wish they made the cords a lil more tidy. Pretty rad tho . Thanks for the review .

@@Justintime2grow haha 😂 I am sure they will give me a honest answer 🤣👊
Do you have a schedule for all 3 lights?
You could do that because each color does come with its own power cord if you didnt want to daisy chain and run them all on timers.
