EVERY CHELSEA VLOG has DBH as a starter lol. Why because he played with maresca? That man is back up to cole palmer. Both are left footed creative players. The football directors looked at last season as thought if Cole Palmer gets injured our season is over. They don't expect him to play 70 games. I agree Noni is gonna cook. I think he will compete with sterling on the RW and honestly out of the two of them I don't know who will own that position
I think fernandez will be the deepest midfielder because one of the full backs will invert for that defensive element. KDH and caicedo will be 8s but they can actually go wide to put crosses in which would allow palmer/noni and sterling/nkukunkuku to come inside and do the quick passes in and around the box. This should make it harder for teams to track our players with the constant movement. So on paper we will line up as 4-3-3 but if we're going to be a heavily based possesion team, when we have the ball it'll be more like a 3-2-2-3: Sanchez Fofana - Levi - Cucu James - Enzo Caceido - KDH palmer - jackson - nkuku As much as i love gallagher, i don't think he fits enzo's style of play. This new system is very technical and conors game is more pressing, energy etc which is why he worked so well in potchs system as that was based on a lot of running with less emphasis on positional play. Plus considering how open the club have been about trying to sell him and trev this squad is being assembled without them mind. Anywho those are my thoughts on the matter
@TChAriv1 the 8 are required to do more defending than the inverted winger in this system so Palmer wouldn't be deployed there. He's never played as an 8 for city or Chelsea

If he apologises to each of his teammates face to face, 1 on 1 and listens to what they have to say there's a good chance we can move on from this. I'm saying this as a mixed race person in a predominantly white conutry. People's views are shaped by the environment they grew up in so if someone is offensive to my demographic once, I take into consideration their upbringing, if they're ignorant or meant it maliciously. If it's ignorance then educate them and if they their behaviours don't change then it's an issue. I always believe in giving people second chances. We all make mistakes

my opinion on the goalkeeper situation would be buying a new one from the market who is decent in saves and also with the feet. Someone like Unai Simon who is decent at both.

I think we stick with Sanchez unless we buy a new keeper. Sanchez made some bad mistakes but was actually better overall than Petrovic. He's a much better passer, he just made some bad mental errors. Petrovic avoided those by playing after. I don't think that'll work in Maresca's system. Ultimately, a new keeper is the best option.
Sanchez is a disaster waiting to explode any time example that Arsenal match. He cost us some good points. I can't trust him yet. Petro is ahead at the moment.
