Is it like a zenkai - do I have to awaken them to this EZA and are there missions I need to complete to be able to do this?

Basically an event that you fight to level them up. It's honestly just balancing purposes for older units so that they are still relevant. Fight the event: For LRs its 10 levels to awaken them fully, for URs its 30 levels (though the LR ones are harder obviously). Use the medals you get to awaken them to this new level and they will get a better leader skill, passive skill, super attack skill and level. Totally worth it if you can pull off the LR ones. Costs A LOT of zeni though so be careful not to run out.

Try switching to mobile data and just be patient. Dokkan can take a while to load

How does the wt mean 50 extra stones?
If you finish the missions, you get a total of 50 stones. Though you may have to win matches in a row and gain a lot of WT points.
