Love to see others living the childhood dreams. It's like a fairytale coming true for you guys. Just makes you feel good for someone else. I'm 64 and getting dive certified soon. It will be some 40 years that I last did any diving. Could just say that's it's on my bucket list. God Bless you all and I wish you all the best of luck. Love the video and hope to see many more.
Capt. Fizz is a great man who knows his stuff. I had the pleasure and honor in meeting him this past April and I have a signed book that he wrote. That book will never go anywhere but in my collection.
Really enjoyed watching this thank you very much for sharing! It's people like you who keep the dream alive for the rest of us! Good luck and happy hunting! Cheers from Hong Kong)
Thanks, very good video, born and raised in S. FL. Know a few treasure guys, bought some over the years found a bit too, I really love the artifacts, like Lignumvite deadeyes, bronze fittings, and all kinds of deck hardware. It tells a great story. The silver and gold is great, however lots of kinds of treasures. For years I owned a long keel spike from Nelsons ship, found in the Rio Plata. I amy fascinated by cannons. It is all a wonderfull adventure and I highly recomend adventures. Thank you so much.
You got me pumped. I live in Corpus Christi, right by the Gulf. There have been Spanish Gallons sunk off our coast but most sunk at or near Padre Island National Sea Shore, which is a 150 mile strip of island going from Corpus Christi, down to Brownsville. It is illegal to metal detect either on shore or off shore like you are doing. Plus we have the Texas Antiquities Commission that also guard our coast from treasure hunters. That being said, if there is a will there is a way. Any suggestions?
I would love to come diving & hunting with you!!!! It has been in my blood since I was a kid.... I have owned many detectors. Started off with a $120 Garrett
@mowerdog Thanks for the kind words! We'll the "big guys" have to keep their stock holders happy! All we have to do is keep our small group of backers and us happy! Good luck hunting!!! Cheers! Robert, April and Captain Fizz!
This is what it's all about! I'm sick of the huge operation shows. Also how the big boys race around laying claim to anything they can find. Your operation brings it down to terms we all understand. I would love to be on a team like yours. I'm glad I stumbled on to your videos. Keep up the great work! Great success to you and your team!
Awesome. wish I could do this.. Has anyone ever had any paranormal stuff happen after finding treasures like that. I wonder if any of those Spanish guys are 'attached' to their treasures in the afterlife.. just a wonder???
@chinchillaman1 Thanks and yes! Florida takes 20% of what you find, then most of it gets put in some vault and no one ever sees it! If you're ever in Cannon Beach, come visit our store! We have LOTS of interesting historic artifacts from around the world on exhibit. Cheers! Robert and APril
Anything from a wreck is interesting even the wood if it survived. Often I thought how cool it would be to have a cannon or two. Ballast stone with LASER etched pictures of sailing ships, whatever works.
Hi Capt! Any good places or spots to metal detect on Beaches? We have a Garrett Ace 250 it's not water proof. The kids and I could use a little help from the Capt! Thanks form the Vega family. =)
WHat a cool old dude with a Pirate shirt your awesome > My dream is to come from CANADA and search fro treasure with you.. hahaha Ya hoo.. Happy hunting man
+Self Stirring Pot Valid point, but not all pieces oxidize in the same way, depending how far below the surface of the sand they were, and the surrounding artifacts.

The book, Dive to a flash of gold. It tells all about the 1733 fleet, and mine came with a map, and the book describes all the ships and locations

Does Mel Fisher hold the lease to all of the 1715 fleet ?
Joe Price Not anymore. The Queens Jewels now holds that lease.
Joe Price He used to. Mr Brent Brisben has it now.

After 280 years silver would oxidize, kind of weird many of those coins look like they just came out from electrolysis.
