I was 7 years old when I played this game . I’m 24 now. Such a good video game. I can never forget how fun it was playing this with my cousins or my friends for hours . It’s sad to see how uncreative video games have become . We have more technology & produce bad games.
Would be nice to get at least a remaster. That adds nerfed bosses as playble characters and the one campaign level that's not in multiplayer back into multiplayer
I remember playing the demo disc and finally one christmas my parents got me the full game needless to say even to this day almost 20 years later nothing brings me more joy then going back and playing this masterpeice
Hopefully, GvK will light the way for many future kaiju works(games, comics and movies). Kaiju fans already have the Gigabash game for this year, would be awesome if the project nemesis series could at least get another comic or even a movie.🐅
Fantastic game. The one annoyance I have with it is some of the AI behaviour. When you get an AI monster's HP low enough, it always runs away to look for health, which is very irritating and just prolongs the fight. Wish they'd toned that down a bit.
Genuinely my favorite ps2 game, so much nostalgia and a hidden gem if there ever was one. Growing up I always just assumed everyone loved this game only to find that it’s very much unknown. At least someone at Sony liked it enough to put it on the ps4/ps5 store, so maybe there is a sliver of hope for a sequel or remaster but I’m not counting on it. Oh well, I’m still enjoying it on my steam deck :D
Man I loved this game I played it non stop until the PS2 finally destroyed the disk 🤣 Its the Godzilla fighter we never got. I've played so many godzilla/monster fighter games but none hit like this one. Movement was fast paced and the scale of destruction was astronomical and the unique map effects were perfection. I always get nostalgic atheist once a year and visit YT posts on it hoping one day it'll get a reboot even if it's just only a slight improvement to graphics and the destruction id be more than happy. I wouldn't mind if it didn't get new monsters or maps cause that's how entertaining this game was for me. This game will always be my #1. Even now as an adult I feel so energetic just thinking about this game like I did as a kid. Gameplay felt amazing and dont get me started on the orchestra music. 🤣🔥
I had a demo disc from a playstation magazine subscription my mom got me that had a demo of this on it. I used to play the hell out of this. I miss those days!!
I don't understand why this genre of game died. I remember playing the hell out of all the pipeworks Godzilla games and War of the Monsters. I'd love to see Gigabash ad Praytor or Togera like how they added Godzilla and a few other monsters
