A man who has to accept that the kingdom he fought so hard for restoring doesn’t exist anymore and drowns together with it is heart-breaking in my opinion. Especially when he had the opportunity to revive Hyrule after touching the Triforce but decided to give Link and Zelda a future instead of his own selfish desires.

SpiraLord Phantom Nope, I did and I'm not ashamed to admit it. TP had such a bittersweet ending, even more so when Link rides away from Ordon at the end. I mean...how can you go back to a menial, normal life after all of that? Not to mention when someone you've grown to love all of a sudden disappears like that? (and yes...I'm a MidLink shipper, lol). Just...man, it was such a powerful ending. Kudos to Team Zelda for taking a bold step! SS was a disappointment to me story-wise compared to TP. Not that it was bad, but it didn't resonate with me like this game did.
Midna was probably one of, if not his BEST compainion. She was a total jerk for the first half of the game, but after the second half, she became such a loveable and memorable character. She is easily my favorite Zelda character of all time, and I hope she makes an appearence of some kind in a future Zelda title. Heres to Midna!

I wish they had this Song extended somewhere...They did it for Fi, I also would've liked Impa's fate to be extended... But that's not the point...This is one of the few Zelda games besides WW,Minish cap, Skyward sword, and MM to make me break down in tears and cry like a baby because Midna grows on you, you can't stand her at first then she slowly starts to become likable, then she leaves you when you like her...God...And this was the only Zelda game I'm aware of Rated T... Hyrule warriors didn't count because it's like the Sonic 06 of Zelda, it's not canon...I just want to see Midna in another game...Where it's canon...

Sadly she wont :( But it would be awesome for a Twilight Princess sequel. To be honest Midna was a great character and beats Navi and Tatl by a million. She is a character more than an assistant, and she also has a story showing she wants her place as princess again and she becomes connected with Link, kind of how Tatl in Majora's Mask was so mean to Link at first, but as the game progressed she changed. I loved Midna's character, she was the best thing about this game.
I guess we can be glad she did not die however her departure was still heart stopping None the less. That last moment you last see her face before her leaving :'(
If you've experienced this story and every small side piece it gave you will feel exactly the same as link in this part. In My honest opinion this is the best zelda there was just something a outbit and the bitter sweet ending hit so beautifully

I've been wondering, maybe Twilight Princess was originally supposed to be two parts. It seems as if the last 25% of the game was crammed story wise. I mean, if you really think about it, Zant went from a bad a** to a mental maniac at the last minute, as if it was just so ganon could come in. And then you have this ending. I honestly think they didn't originally write the story to end like this. It just doesn't fit with how the rest of the game was designed. Take Midna for example. They revealed
