Yup, I'm hoping to plan a couple of day fishing trip in my boat possibly on Lady-Evelyn Lake or somewhere else before the weather gets too cold although I can also use my hot tent for that trip as well if it's later in the Fall.
Looking at this trip again - lived in Kirkland Lake / Haileybury and now North Bay so tackled this area from many spots. Thanks for sharing your trip, I wish my dog was a good as Tuck in a canoe 😂cheers
Thanks. Yes, Tucker loves just coming with me everywhere so at first he was pretty restless jumping side to side but after accidentally falling overboard a few times (the reason he wears a life jacket now) he learned quick his tiny Paws don't do so well swimming and luckily each time I was able to scoop him back in no problem but I thought; what if he ever falls out in rapids and I can't quickly grab him? So a life jacket was a no brainer for him. And I agree, this video series is worth watching over again cause I did the same a week ago and started with day one right to day 6. I definitely seen where I messed up on a couple of the runs, saw places I wished I went to explore, kicked myself for not taking an extra day and fishing more and simply relived the entire trip putting me right back there. Can't wait till next year! But until then I'm hoping to get out and do some winter camping this year.
@@darrendavidsonoutdoors y’a same looking forward to spring but hopefully get a chance to winter camp too. Y’a we make sure ours has a PFD I’m sure he is a good swimmer but tipping it falling out - easier to grab them too… glad your getting out there and enjoying the outdoors, always so much to Explore and so little time :)

LMAO! I know, I even laughed when I was editing that. Lack of caffeine and I couldn't even talk right. The next morning I had two cups of coffee that tasted SO good. LOL!
LOL, the funny thing is I have that song on that playlist I was listening to and sing along to it as well even though I have no idea what I'm saying. Next years big trip I plan to end at my house and the one section where I'll be entering the Ottawa River into Lake Temiskaming, the opposite side of the river is Quebec and I thought; I'll definitely have to paddle up the Quebec shoreline that trip singing along to that song playing. LOL!
Years ago, I had the priviledge of guiding American tourists at a lodge north the Agawa Canyon. Sometimes we'd have everyone singing that tune to stay in sync with the paddling or rowing. 🚣
