Cobalt Mining Museum & Underground tour. Come for a day, discover a century.

Decided to show off another attraction right here in my backyard. Just about 20 minutes from my house there's a cool little spot called the Cobalt Mining Museum. When signing in at the entrance, be sure to ask about the underground mine tour. Totally worth doing. Fun fact about Cobalt; not only was it built from the rich deposits of Silver, the town was much bigger back then like a city and they technically had their own NHL hockey team. That team later moved out of Cobalt and became the Montreal Canadians. Lots of great history in the area which was both good and bad as times were much different back then with human rights, child labour laws, environmental laws etc.
