- I've made a lot of hyperrealistic cakes that surprise people, but this week, I'm going to try using some unique edible materials that will REALLY make you wonder whether this item is actually edible!

In my opinion the buttercream piping bag looks more realistic. I loved the cake cutting of both though! I really thought that you were going to use gelatin for a plastic lol, every time you say "Edible plastic" I always scream out "GELATIN"! like ALWAYS lol, I love that stuff

that's a fun prank idea for when you deliver cakes. leave a fully edible piping bag on the tray and when they say you forgot it, you eat it in front of them 😂
She needs to take this idea and make a video of it.

the fun part of these videos is even when i watch you make the cake it still surprises me when you cut into it

The piping bag cake with chocolate instead of buttercream is ironically the only cake Natalie has made that doesn't have frosting. It's a cake made to look like something that has everything to do with frosting but it has no actual frosting in it.
It had a bit of buttercream in the cake dough but does that count

This really takes the saying "Everything is a cake, a lie" to a whole new level.
Both versions are amazing! Although the chocolate one seemed to be slightly off the real green buttercream color (darker). But the bubbles that you were talking about looked like condensed water to me, so that's perfectly fine. Just imagine that it came right out of the fridge. 😊

Now I need two things: the name of that round song and an edible cake of a cactus ice cream cone. Great cake! Love how it squished.
If she had simply used a taller glass and put less chocolate in the piping bag, and then NOT CUT THE PIPING BAG but instead, folded it over the glass, she could have pushed the cake pop in all the way, and then it would have displaced the chocolate up over the top of the cake pop, or she could have added additional chocolate to cover the cake. But cutting the bag was a bad move because she couldn’t push the pop in without it overflowing the chocolate out of the bag.
