Adkar(Adrak) is a colloquial parlance word used in the state of Punjab. Like Namak-Shamak, the chef is deliberately using the word(Adkar) for extra flavor. Andaaz apna apna!!

recipe seems very nice but check out the smoking oil. Not done no no. Smoking oil is carcinogenic. rest seems good
Cooking temperature of mustard oil is very high... It is important to make it smoking hot otherwise there will be raw taste and smell of mustard oil which will ruin the taste of dish. Chef is doing great job.
If u throwing seeds, fiber and skin then no use of pumpkin sabji.
