Ingredients:
FOR KADI
1 ½cups Curd
4 tbsp Besan (gram flour)
½cup Onion sliced
½tbsp Garlic chopped
½tbsp Ginger chopped
3/4 tsp Turmeric
1tsp Red chilly powder
1 tbsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
to taste Salt
10 cups Water
3 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Methi dana (fenugreek)
1 tsp Cumin
2 nos Dry red chilly
½tsp Heeng (asafoetida)
FOR PAKORA
1cup Besan (gram flour)
to taste Salt
1no Green chilly chopped
½tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Red chilly powder
1 tbsp Coriander seeds
tsp Cumin
3/4 tsp Baking Powder
1 cup Spinach chopped
3/4 cup Water
FOR TEMPERING
2 tbsp Desi Ghee
2 tsp Coriander seeds
1 tsp Cumin
½tsp Red chilly powder

To my favorite Chef, I just dazzled my family with this recipe. We had Chicken Charga and the famous Kadhi Pakoda with Naan. Needless to say everyone was licking their fingers. What a wonderful balance of spice and curd. Love it. Thank you for teaching a Bangladeshi home cook the great taste of Indian khana. Much love.

Ingredients:-
*For kadhi*
Dahi -1 cup
Besan -2 big spoons
Lil bit of Sliced onion
..........chopped ginger
..........chopped garlic
Lil bit turmeric
Jeera powder
Red chilli powder
Coriander powder
Salt
6-7 times water (ratio to the curd)
* -- heat some oil in a pan and -- *
Fenugreek seeds
Hing
Jeera
Dried red chilli
*For Pakodi :-*
1 cup besan
Salt
Green chilli
Turmeric
Red chilli powder
Coriander
Cumin
Pinch of baking soda
Spinach
*Final Tempering*
Desi ghee
Coriander seeds
Jeera
----turn off gas-----
Immediately put some red chilli powder itno this,swirl and pour it on to the kadhi
Do we add yogurt straight from fridge or leave it out couple hours to make it sour?

Good afternoon, just had my lunch. And made this delicious kadhi... My small one who is yr fan since her toddler she used to watch the yellow table and admire you as she saw me making this shw could not resisit eating . She immediately put the table cloth yellow 🟡and asked me to keep the bowl in it and having it shw said mom yum.... That was it. Her first vegetarian meal which she had. She is ardent lover of meat and fish 🐠. But this was like she said add this to my menu. Thank u kunal for this and many more,

Curry leaves are never added in authentic Punjabi Kadi. It's added in Marathi Kadi.

I made it today... However as stay in Philippines spinach is difficult to gt especially during covid.. So i substituted with onion for the pakori... Rest i followed as u mentioned and it was delicious....
