Great critiques of Ex Hex! Maybe that’s why it didn’t really hit for me. I think I preferred the sequel more but I read it so long ago that I can’t remember. Practical Magic is SO iconic!! I haven’t seen that one in ages but I always remember my mom listening to the soundtrack growing up in CD haha.

I just finished The ex Hex probably a few days into September and LOVEDDDDD it. It definitely screams practical magic. I always thought that them saying they didn't 'know eachother' was just them trying to equate their romance as a fling and not something serious. I hate gilmore girls so I get turned off, so to speak, when someone compares books to those vibes lol.
