Also to Marty's later point about A.I. dialogue, the marines being in awe of you in Halo 3, and the covenant calling you the "demon" was awesome and one of many little things that really made you feel like Master Chief and a true hero.
All those little sound bites and reactions added greatly to the immersiveness of the Bungie era Halo games.
EDF, Halo CE to Reach. It was so hype to hear the soldiers in the situation.

@@SivohNagol it really is, I honestly think there are lots pf little features like that, that used to be in ganes and aren't now. In Halo 3 everytime the covenant said The Demon I was like damn thats so awesome.
Hearing Marty say one of his favorite works of music was "Deference to Darkness" honestly is one of the ODST tracks that's so good 🤌. It's one of the few tracks I'll always go back and listen to.

Marty knows what we're talking about. I've been saying this since 343 fumbled infinite. CERTAIN AFFINITY needs to have HALO, they know HALO up and down.
Endymion it was a great Stream with some great people but i have one critisism : DONT talk over the guests and interrupt them let them finish their thaoughts thats all..

14:55 I totally agree with Marty about the anonymity. But I also point out precautions since there are evil individuals that will exploit the same point like cat fishing or worse using their identity to do fraudulent things.

1:34:25 the master chief removal of his helmet, has been done where it only show his eyes. So for me that’s the best way to do it, let the bystander character saw it, but not let the gamers saw it. As it make more mystery of the Halo Lore.

1:04:27 you all are straight out of the loop. DOOM Eternal is one of the best single player shooter stories ever told! You have to play the DLC to finish it out. But it is straight 80’s/90’s sci-fi action cranked to 11 and handled perfectly!

If memory serves, the Vector CR21 is a real prototype bullpup rifle. Perhaps they procured them as placeholders until developing proper battle rifle/assault rifle props? I think I remember seeing the NTW-20 though

To date Id haven't made game with enemy AI that comes close to the likes of Halo, Half-Life 1, F.E.A.R., etc. Outside of Bungie the only studio i could see possibly doing Halo gameplay justice is Monolith but they're owned by WB and haven't made an FPS in ages.

didnt the lead narrative designer on destiny 2 say that he always thought those two characters were in a queer relationship and he as a queer man found out this was true when he became the lead narrative designer? He wrote it into existence.

baldurs gate 3 did not have Boyd types and pronouns when it came out that was ended near the end of development, act 1 was great act 2 was ok act 3 did not feel like it was made by the same people because it wasnt, by that time they had different people working in the game and wizzards of the coast pushed for more wokeness so the woke stuff appear at the end of act 2 and act 3. The game is also overrated and has tons of bugs and cut content and 80% of the choices dont do anything. So the game as good in spite of the woke stuff not because of it, and how did this whole story end exactly? The lead designer absolutely had it with wizzards of the coast and decided not to make any dlc game or another baldurs gate and or dnd and make something else in the future.

Cortana isn't really sexualized at Halo 4. Skin is computerized, important issues covered, unsexy haircut... her shape is not flat fat or "unsexy' I suppose.
In my opinion the Halo 4 Cortana and Halo 5 Cortana, are the ugliest designs out of all the games.

also if you dont like bethesda open world games like morrowind you gonna hate fallout 4 and the new fallouts play 1 and 2 instead.

Another game that would have been awesome but just fell off was Anthem.
That was because even though EA gave BioWare 7 years to make a game, and in those 7 years, BioWare never came up with a game. If I remember correctly, when they did come up with the original concept, the EA CEO said it sucked. So they then made a new concept, which the CEO liked and that was what was showed at E3. So basically the gameplay we saw at E3 was fake.
Bro just buy a PC or Xbox so you can play the Xbox exclusives lol you probably have enough money
