They make good games That's it. That's the video. If Ubisoft, Activision, EA, or any other company ever made games that even come close to holding a candle to comparing to the amount of polish or creativity in the first nanosecond of inserting a Nintendo game into your console, I'd probably be a fan of those too. But every other company seems interested in pumping out boring, monotonous corporate schlock. I'm not even trying to meatride here. There are more ideas in the first 15 minutes of your average Mario game than there are in the entire Assassin's Creed franchise. And I'm speaking as someone who loves Assassin's Creed (I used to cosplay as an Assassin, I have an AC Odyssey tee shirt I wear regularly, I played through a sizable chunk of the franchise _and_ I saw the movie in theaters). Some people just aren't content to play clunky, anti-fun corporate schlock games where you spend 2 hours creating a character for a game you'll get bored with before you're done the tutorial (COUGH COUGH STARFIELD COUGH)
It's not just that they make good games, but rather that they make good games that play differently to those from anyone else. Meaning that if you want those types of experiences at all, you're getting a Nintendo. However, their insistence on crackdowns for emulation and fangames threatens this. That makes some people, who really want to play/make games like those, take the extra time and money to scrub all the Nintendo imagery from it (and monetize it while they're at it). And when that happens, it's not seen as "the generic take on Nintendo games" (and thus by definition unable to approach them), and instead are seen as a "legitimate alternatives to those particular Nintendo styles"... i.e. direct violations of that "secret sauce" that's been keeping them afloat. In other words, games like Pizza Tower, Shovel Knight, Bug Fables, and Hollow Knight are _the_ most damaging thing to Nintendo's reputation, and the only legal way to discourage that is to not force the matter by gatekeeping their IPs.
The games are good but I would not say they are above other companies like Capcom, Konami (when they where good, obviously), ID software or fromsoftware. For me they are equally good but for some reason you have to pretend Nintendo Is above them. (Like, they all make 9/10 games but the reviewers Will give the Nintendo game 10/10).

There's only about 15 million diehard Nintendo fans worldwide- the ones who all bought new Wii U's, but they're a vocal bunch, that's for sure!

comparably Nintendo dont have a big cross over on there games so if u want Zelda or Mario there the only ones u can go to unless u emulate them
