This game ended up being my favourite of this year tbh, such a breath of fresh air on how creative and fun a game can be in a long time. The demo I say does a terrible job of selling itself, swordfighter was good but using patissere/cook peach when instead should have been cowgirl or ninja from that same floor demo killed the pace of action swordfighter gave me. Full game however was fantastic and would play again but 100% can be dreadful since you can't skip cutscenes or dialogue except for the boss cutscenes each repeat. Overall a fantastic experience arriving at the tail-end of the Switch's life cycle :)
Will there be a spoiler version of this video at some point? I feel like you could have said a bit more to sell me on it, but your wanting to opt out on saying them for fear of spoilers left me wanting to play it less now 👀
I'm not really looking to do a full review besides possibly on my member's only videos unless this video does really well. (Which it looks like it isn't.) The best way to see if you want to get the game is to try out the demo as it's a solid representation of most of the game, just with more unique transformations!
@@ArcticJack2 What you do have here is neat stuff! Fun, stupid details for my brain to chew on: Grape (only the minions call her Madame Grape, and that's actually important at one point, as you know :3) doesn't seem to have a very clear motivation, like at all. XD Even less clear than why Bowser does anything! The only thing that seems to be relevant (and frankly, kind of interesting) is that her forces exist in opposition not just moral but existential to whatever the Theets are, like the conflict has to do with what kind of art they prefer and what kind gives them power. Because art is *magical.* :3 It's not complex, but it's just enough. Anyway, if a future game ever DOES explore it, I'd be so into it!
Tell them son
