There is something satisfying in getting those gift cards redeemed in front of scammers. Especially, when a lovely and good-tempered elderly couple does it. Always feels so good!
The amount of talent and effort in this video is just astounding. You basically played as 3 people in the same place, ran to the store from your seat and fooled the heck out of these scammers. Amazing. Just amazing. I'm hooked lmao
As someone who is hard of hearing, thank you so much for captioning the scammers. Between the thick accents and the low quality microphones it can be difficult to hear what they're saying at times, so it's hugely appreciated.
Totally agree, I have misophonia and sometimes their talking over one another or raised voices are a trigger, the subtitles mean I can still follow along and enjoy the video with low or no sound!
Scenario: Make a character that is a fisherman out at sea on a fishing vessel. Random things could happen like a man-overboard alarm, the PC can be all pirate/fish themed, and a captain on the PA system can constantly be interrupting. Then when the scammer is about to do the scam, have the character have to go man the nets as the crew-mates all attempt to get the big fish into the boat.
@@ledfloyd9035 Yea, at that point he'd just have to be like "I cant until I get to port" or "I'll have to call you back when we get to port" Or maybe he could offer to buy one online with the email delivery?

Nothing sweeter than witnessing their anger while you’re redeeming gift cards and causing chaos for everyone in the ‘scam office’ simultaneously. 😂 Great job!
@@kokonutt9987 no, I’m not sure of the computer terminology but Kit coded and mirrored a Google play store page on his virtual machine, these are random words & numbers he punches in, hence it gets redeemed by default but there’s no transaction happening in real time.

The only thing I'm disappointed in are the backgrounds/graphics. They were better in the past imo. BUT the jogging/shopping part in this video was fantastic, truly...first time I've seen that.
What amazes me is how I can go months without a scam call, then suddenly I get three or four in the same day. Apparently multiple scammers get the same list of victims' phone numbers so they all get to my number at about the same time.

@Round 1 Here's the question I have for you. And it's an honest question. I'm not trying to be snarkey. Question: Do you believe there are people who have a passion for something and therefore do it, not for any anticipated financial reward?
“Are you stupid or what?” Jesus, what do they think customer service sounds like in the states? Certainly insulting your customer is the number one rule. Number two rule is to screen insulting obscenities.
When they get to that point they have lost the last shred of any cover story and we finally meet the real person behind the scam. E.g. hey stupid lady give me gift cards
The robots don’t add anything for me. The animations are just kind of dead and lifeless and limited, where half of the fun for me has always been in imagining the scammers’ facial expressions based on their level of audial rage. But I understand some viewers need that extra visual stimulation or else they’ll click off the video.
@@nessamillikan6247 Yeah, I actually really dislike the robot animation. I don't even feel like the visual stimulation is important (and even if it was, the robots cheapen it because after seeing them for 20 seconds you know they are dull and bland) because these videos are already so long that it's unlikely most people will just sit there only watching it when the content is already mostly formulaic; We know what we're going into with a Kitboga video so I'm already usually doing something on another monitor...
Seen the same trick a million times and STILL EVERY SINGLE TIME I see it I find it very SATISFYING to see them scammers burning and dying from the inside as kitboga redeems the fake cards
This one was a fun one! Ever since I started watching your videos a few weeks ago, it always brighten up my day! Thanks to your video I’m more aware of scammers and their tactics! I work at target at the register and earlier this week I was able to stop scammers from scamming an elderly couple. The wife was asking me if we sold target gift cards with a 500 dollar limit, and I saw she was on the phone and I whispered is the person on the phone asking you to purchase gift cards and the husband stepped in( she was timid about it) he was like yes. I’m like can you put the phone on hold or hang up. She put the phone down and I was asking what are you buying the gift card for and she said personal use, I said you’re being scammed. Did they said they refunded you money and they said yes, and told me they said they were from amazon and can get back the money from the gift card and I said no. That’s a scam! They were so grateful and my store manager announced to the rest of the team I was able to stop the scam. Thank you Kitboga.
Good on you for helping to stop the couple from being scammed! We need more good people like you out there watching out for the vulnerable folks who might fall for these slimy scams.
I think the robots are a great analogy for scammers. They’re literally the definition of GIGO since all kit needs to do is feed them for a while using his bait tactics, and they’ll spew out the predictable result at the end. Love the steam explosions every time they got frustrated. That’s a nice addition.
@@Gardor agreed, although they are scammers that have the personality of a robot, it's better to imagine them as a person just fuming at their little cubicle
I had a scam call today about student loans. After they connected me to someone else, I started talking about accidentally lighting my backyard on fire because the charcoal exploded. They got bored and hung up 😢
I love when scammers start calling people names and being abusive. The true idiot here is someone who thinks that whilst they are trying to scam you, they can insult you because that gives the game anyway that they are not a legit company. You would think their bosses as standard would be saying, "you must never insult people or use any profanity".
you forgetting something, they are trying to fool gullible people. a compitent adult wouldnt get this far into a scam. if grandma has someone screaming at them and she breaks down crying she isnt thinking logically anymore, she is being dominated. Kidnappers dont try to hand 20 year olds candy because that doesnt work, if it works on 5 year olds though then they will hand out candy. hate to say it but its "know your market" if it didnt work/ was detrimental then it wouldnt be common place. scammers are not having people send payments using credit cards because it doesnt pay. if shouting didnt pay it wouldnt happen
Unfortunately, the swearing and getting angry doesn't really break the scam. It's meant to intimidate confused elderly people into thinking they've done something wrong, which, if they're this deep in the scam already, will probably make them shut up and be more compliant. If something didn't work, scammers wouldn't do it.
I think it's great that you're making an effort to make your videos much more accessible to people with less computer knowledge and who are more likely to fall victim to these scams.
I can't imagine how you don't lose your mind when you go between the husband and wife. Absolutely wicked! And at the end u treasured the sweet agony of the scammer, just as you did!! You're wonderful! Know your interactions with those jerks reduces their time with actual victims. Thank you so much!!
All the extra physical comedy you've been doing lately has been awesome. I like the robots too, personally I enjoy having something visual to connect to their voices.
There is one of these scam busters that hacks these scumbags' financial records, they keep meticulous records, and strip their bank accounts, then working with the security people at Kmart, Walmart, etc returns the money to the people scammed.
listening to kitboga while i'm working reminds me of being a kid and listening to prank call radio shows except kit is actually funny & the scammers deserve what they get 😭
I love how you force them to be hopeful so that you can tactfully waste their time before finally forcing them to get annoyed. No gift card for you, but here's a free rollercoaster of emotions :-)
It is So FUNNY when he mentions names of Towns and States that Don't go together At All !! "Oshkosh, California" he said and she had No Idea that he is Scamming her. 🤣🤣
Animation is a nice touch. It adds a playful element while the scammer tries to scam. Failed, deflated and broken, I'd like to see the robot wither away falling apart. A scamicide.
Finally, been searching for this comment the last couple of minutes. I was thinking cant be the only one noticing it and cracking up about it. Have my like, man of culture!

I had one of these the other day. I said "really? People still fall for the obvious scams?" To my surprise, she actually said "ya of course, dozens a day in our office alone. Thats why we do it" I said "and scamming people helps you sleep at night?" She said "I'm sure you are no saint" I said "well I don't scam old people out of their money because I have no other usable skills in life, like yourself" and then she swore at me and hung up.

Not really. There are dozens scammers in one center. You'd have to literally pay entire offices of people to do the scambaiting
Kit, my fiance unexpectedly passed in her sleep last saturday and I have been devastated and not sleeping. I want to thank you for these videos as they have been putting smiles on my face and helping me to fall asleep after watching an episode or two. You affect lives for the better in more ways than you know
I'm so sorry to hear that, I can't imagine how you felt when you woke up next to her. I really hope you're looking after yourself and doing all you need to cope. You're gonna be okay Gary 💔

It’s gonna be ok Gary, stay strong and treasure the time you had with her ❤️ you’ll get through this King 👑

There is something satisfying in getting those gift cards redeemed in front of scammers. Especially, when a lovely and good-tempered elderly couple does it. Always feels so good!
Yeah, and how they're so proud of themselves. "There, I redeemed it for you!"

Totally agree!! Love the green screen skits!
this man's channel went from prank the scammer to pure performance art.
Exactly, and the scammers' scream is like fuel to the fire for him
Scenario:
Make a character that is a fisherman out at sea on a fishing vessel. Random things could happen like a man-overboard alarm, the PC can be all pirate/fish themed, and a captain on the PA system can constantly be interrupting. Then when the scammer is about to do the scam, have the character have to go man the nets as the crew-mates all attempt to get the big fish into the boat.
It'd be good, but problematic when they ask him to go somewhere like CVS or the bank.
@@ledfloyd9035 Yea, at that point he'd just have to be like "I cant until I get to port" or "I'll have to call you back when we get to port"
Or maybe he could offer to buy one online with the email delivery?

The only thing I'm disappointed in are the backgrounds/graphics. They were better in the past imo. What amazes me is how I can go months without a scam call, then suddenly I get three or four in the same day. Apparently multiple scammers get the same list of victims' phone numbers so they all get to my number at about the same time.
Love how many different ways Kit engages with the community, and how the community is threaded into what he does with scammers!
@Round 1 not necessarily..
Top guy
@Round 1 you make it sound like he uses his fans because he knows it elicits money from them, he could just not communicate with anybody? But then that would be his fault too 🧐
@Round 1 people make millions without ever engaging. I'm not sure what your point is by responding. This person isn't going into the reasons why, they are saying that they like it.
@Round 1 Here's the question I have for you. And it's an honest question. I'm not trying to be snarkey. Question: Do you believe there are people who have a passion for something and therefore do it, not for any anticipated financial reward?
As a Chicagoan, I was FLOORED to see this scammer know what Jewel Osco was... Sorry "Oscow" as she spelled it.
“Are you stupid or what?” Jesus, what do they think customer service sounds like in the states? Certainly insulting your customer is the number one rule. Number two rule is to screen insulting obscenities.

The scammer being drawn as a robot is perfect 😂 these guys truly are robots based on how they act
The robots don’t add anything for me. The animations are just kind of dead and lifeless and limited, where half of the fun for me has always been in imagining the scammers’ facial expressions based on their level of audial rage. But I understand some viewers need that extra visual stimulation or else they’ll click off the video.
@@nessamillikan6247 I agree and I found them quite distracting from the main content of the video. I hope these aren't a permanent addition.
Seriously. There are thousands of them, and they all sound like exactly the same person...or maybe they are, and we're in a Matrix or something.

Oh my gosh, the role-playing between the husband and wife was comedy gold and executed perfectly 😉👌.
Great job and spotting the scam!! You’re a hero!!

I think the robots are a great analogy for scammers. They’re literally the definition of GIGO since all kit needs to do is feed them for a while using his bait tactics, and they’ll spew out the predictable result at the end. Love the steam explosions every time they got frustrated. That’s a nice addition.
And they're also heartless machines who don't feel sympathy
The idea is nice, but I think I prefer it without it so I can imagine them sitting in their office.. The robots kind of depersonalize them..

I had a scam call today about student loans. After they connected me to someone else, I started talking about accidentally lighting my backyard on fire because the charcoal exploded. They got bored and hung up 😢
The best is you waste their time, and they work on commission, so any failed call means $0 for them.
I LOVE the robots! They add more life to the response of the scammer
I lost it at the girl robot 😂😂😂
“Porn, Sir”
