    Tua is the truth. I like the fact that he has taken to the coaching of Sark and has refined his game. He is no longer looking to hit the long TD. Instead he is taking what defenses give him.
    He is deadly accurate, poised in the pocket, and can avoid the rush. He can also buy time in the pocket while hitting guys in stride

      Fabian Leslie Clemson game planned for Alabama and their entire team for the ENTIRE season. Because of that cheese cake schedule Clemson didn’t have to worry about anyone, their main goal was BAMA. The Bulldogs and Clemson we’re preparing for Tua because they knew how good he was. He also played against both of those teams with a messed up knee (had to wear a bracelet) but was still throwing great passes. In the Georgia game he had two receivers drop easy balls, one would’ve converted on a third and long (Irv Smith Jr) and the other would’ve been a touchdown (Jerry Jeudy). Bama was moving the ball down field and was only trailing by 14 points before Tua got injured. As for Clemson they knew everything. They had a whole defensive line full of 1st round NFL players, a shitload of Seniors, and a great defensive coach. However, during the game Tua was making accurate passes down field and mid field. Watch the game again. Tua was making 10x better throws than Trevor Lawrence. Tua led Alabama to the Red Zone FOUR times that game but it only resulted in 9 points due to bad coaching and he also led them to the 22 yard line which resulted in 0 points because of a failed fake field goal attempt. Outside of those two interceptions Tua did his job. Don’t get fooled by the media. Tua is easily the best QB in the nation. Can’t wait to see him torch up these upcoming defenses this season.

    People talking about oh Tua just throws slants and his receivers take it to the house. Well last year all he did was throw the deep ball. Now he’s smarter. He says “ya know what if you’re gonna give me slants I’ll take them with my receivers “ and as soon as defenses start to creep up and play the slant. Boom. Ruggs hits you with a hitch and go route. Or smith hits you with a deep post. Or juedy hits you with a deep out or any route. And Tua flat out puts it on the money and in stride still. Idc how good your team is. Throw the ball 130+ times on 7 on 7 with no picks is even amazing. Doing it in games is art and knowledge of the game.

      de dom he literally was on one leg for 9 games last year. He had surgery came back a few weeks later and played ou were he got it beat up more. And then by the time Clemson game came hes practically back on one leg again. You can see him hobbling when he through the pick 6 at the very beginning of the game. Tua is smarter this year. Limits his hits. And the offense doesn’t run him like they did last year. His rpos allow him to use his brain first. Then his legs if need be and he still doesn’t like to scramble. In the past decade there’s only one qb to start a season with 20+ touchdowns and 0 interceptions and that’s Tua. His receivers have even gotten better. So with the complete growth of the offense. I don’t see a team slowing him down. And I don’t see him taking chances with his body. He throws it away now whereas last year he’d hold it and get destroyed from a sack. He throws the ball away about 3 times a game now. And still averages about 5-7 incompletions per game. So just let that sink in. He doesn’t miss. Tua is on a mission to show why he’s gonna be remembered as one of the greatest college qbs ever and why he deserves the number one pick be spent on him

    • @trent8518
      @trent8518 4 года назад

      de dom Also they never took away his short game. They took away his deep ball. Tua through the deep ball a lot last year. Was constantly searching for the Homerun. They took it away and he still was looking to force those balls. Instead of taking check downs or higher percentage throws. You’re right though ignorance is bliss. You must be a Michigan fan. 😂

Oh these are great times, lap it up record it all it will not last forever. Our Defense needs to mature but right now no one can out score us, so another title barring any injuries is happening this year. Another Heisman would be nice also. If he doesn't hit his receivers in stride like he does, they don't get the YAC that they do. It's precision passing at its best. It doesn't have to be a deep ball to be a bad ass pass. Hitting someone on time on a crossing route or slant isn't really that easy when you consider how fast the receivers are moving and the other team's linemen are trying to kill you.

The "best receiving corp" in college was made that way by the most accurate dead eye, throw a key into a keyhole from 50yrds away quarterback..He made them all great by equal ball distribution which kept defenses on their toes instead of always going to one or 2 guys. so you dont hear only about Jeudy and Ruggs but Smitty, Waddle and last year IRV Smith the TE. The tight windows that this guy would get into are ridiculous. This year his throwing is more conservative at times yes, but that's what he's been instructed to do. Alabama has simply never had good QB's in my lifetime. I'm 34, and only 4 have even been drafted. One 3rd rounder (Croyle), two 5th (Mccaron and Barker), and one 7th (McElroy).
      They haven't had a single highly ranked QB prospect since Stabler, Namath, and Todd back in the 60's/70's Bear Bryant era.
      All of this means that while they haven't had any recent successful QB's, they also haven't had any busts. Tua is their first stud QB prospect in over 40 years, so the success of their recent QB's is irrelevant.
