@@guyverjay1289 Nope not at all! But I know you gonna tell me that MoS superman is not your superman because of various reasons. Now here's the thing. Most of the reasons that you will give are because you are so much attached to this(superman II) version...that you don't look at how accurate MoS was...if it were to happen in real life. Also in MoS.....superman is not even superman dude..he is the man of steel and he is on his journey to become the "boy scout" superman after JL3(probably). And the mere destruction that he caused was the reason batman had an issue with him. Nothing in MoS (not even destruction) was unnoticed and everything led to their fight in bvs. The consequences of MoS led to BvS. Again. This movie is not flawless. Okay, in a world where Superman's powers include throwing cellophane, I guess this isn't a big deal. But Superman tells Lois, "we used to play this game in school; he never was very good at it." Except Superman was sent from Krypton as a baby. He never went to school there. Also, Zod was already an adult and a criminal when Superman was a baby. They are not even remotely the same age. Presumably, being imprisoned in the Phontom Zone kept Zod from aging so that Superman "caught up" to him in physical appearance. But, again, no way they were ever in school together.
Superman is probably referring to the school he went to on earth, growing up in Smallville. Either the kids at school weren’t fooled by tricking them into being in more than one place at a time, or he’s just being modest to Lois in that moment and in actuality he was always good when using the speed mirage technique.

I was actually happy to find out that none of this stuff was shot by Donner. It's downright stupid and makes no sense. Donner's version was much better.
I think this shield throw and multiplying is simply illusion that only work inside fortress of solitude, so it makes sense
@@bluefire9147 Donner didn't shoot this. For a start he wouldn't have had Lex Luthor sliding down the wall like that. Only Richard Lester used these cheap gags
I think it was pretty cool. Showed him 'out-thinking' the deadly trio.
@@KarlA-vk4kn And the only reason they had the double do that is because Hackman wouldn't come back for reshoots.
This is what happens when you just make up crap that was never in the comics to start with.
Ok so its half 1 in the morning, im laying in the dark and i should be asleep but i remembered this scene and started laughing so i had to watch it again.
Imagine if he did this in Zack Snyder's Justice League.
LMAO
It would have at least been interesting
If he used that when he was fighting Batman, he wouldn't have wound up pinned to the ground
0:20 Superman hoping its super inconvenient!
Omg Richard donne's cut is so mutch better
Yep. This is basically the Joss Whedon version of S2.
Margot Kidder's cheekbones is just wow !!
Christopher Reeves was the greatest superman. I Love all the Superman movies he was in.
Seriously? Quest for peace?
Superman just threw a mango and strawberry flavored "S" fruit rollup @ NON😂😂😂 0:17
This is the best general zod! Born in Dagenham!
“ who is this supermayne? Come before me! If you dayar! “
“ take hiiiiiiiiiiiiiim you caaaaaant! “
Man of Cellophane
Better cgi than justic league 😂😂
YES
@@UCHMwCc-lwhGBuemXjy015Jw yes
I don’t even think they have CGI back then
CGI is getting worse
Let our powers combine. Earth!
still better than The Last Airbender
No a better sequel than Marvel movies
See you say that but you know you're completely over exaggerating and inaccurate
Superman, gotta catch em all.
Dude got hit with limited time KB toy store "Superman" bag.
“We use to play this game at school I never was very good at it.” Play with who you grew up on earth 😂
Ah yes the 80’s acting was cheesy as hell. I love it 😂
What the hell w as that S throw thing? Even as a kid I was like "What the heck"? "I expect better manors from my guests Zod"! Loved that line. This fight Superman used mind tricks and psychological warfare on Zod and his goon patrol. And Zod's temper tantrum was funny AF, "FOOLS, TAKE HIM, RRRR, TAAAAAA,AAAAAAAAA"!!
0:16 trows his plastic bag simbol that order was to go
Fools, take him! Take him him him 😂😂
His London accent comes out here.
I have seen this movie many times....but I don't understand why is it causing more hate to MAN OF STEEL.....MOS is a very intense and more realistic take on superman....enjoy this but don't hate man of steel unnecessarily.
Good man
Mos causes its own hate by being crap
@@guyverjay1289 crap!?😂😂😂😂 Dude you are hilarious!
@@deviljr3792 - do you find all opinions opposite to yours "hilarious"?
It has flaws but there is a difference between not understanding what the plot was and genuine mistakes. Usually people fail to understand the plot. ✌.
Ah the days before “Crisis on Infinite earths” when Superman could just HAVE whatever power he wanted.
0:57 Lol!!!
Superman throwing his symbol at the enemy looks like something Sailor Moon would do.
LOL true and yet it suites him too, but your right, I can see her doing that
She's supposed to be Superman's daughter.
0:48 - DAMN, LOIS! GET HER!
YOU CAN HEAR A STRONG BRITISH ACCENT WHEN SUPERMAN SAYS "I EXPECT BETTER MANNERS FROM MY GUESTS ZOD
Should have had Parker from Thunderbirds voice that line
Chris Reeve was originally from New Jersey. I'm glad he didn't use that accent...
@@flatscan1978 Really? OMG I always thought he was more hinterland than that.
Transatlantic accent?
*Superman’s true power…*
Family Guy brought me here
FamilyGirl566 ikr-I wanted to see the cellophane s
I remember watching this as a small kid when it came out. The S shield foil was awesome but I never understood the finger point laser beam, SUperman didn't have that. Nor did he or other kryptonians have the holograms.
Choke him! Choke him! Choke him! Yes! Do it!
Now, snap his neck!
This was made the same year as Empire Strikes Back... Let that sink in.
0:14-0:18 cellophane s 0:22-0:24 have fun playing in the ❄️, Non. 1:04-1:08, 1:11-1:14 teleport 1:20 clones of Superman. 1:26 😆 1:56 all right!
I think these tricks made the movie more super awesome when I watched as a kid. Bonus powers
0:15 That’s was *SUPER* easy, barely an inconvenience.
oh, really?
SOOOOOO much better than the new one.
