Is it just a mere coincidence how that vintage 1976 silver Pontiac Grand Prix somehow avoids getting scratched or blown up, while it sat parked right in the line of fire explosions between General Zod and the US Army in that small dirt town. Then we see the car again driving in the city of Metropolis, as it had just barely avoided getting smashed by falling concrete debris.

I was in High School when I got a summer job at the local movie theater. Back then [1981], it was vert common for one movie to play at a theater all summer long. Why? Because there wasn't the shear volume of movies available today. There were 2 powers in superman 2 I've never seen superman or any other kryptonians use anywhere else. The power beams coming from their index fingers and the ability to project/teleport themselves. Then in a directors cut there was a deleted scene where somehow superman destroys the fortress of solitude by looking at it. Always loved these classic superman movies. Christopher Reeve was the best superman ever in my opinion mostly because I grew up with him as superman in these groundbreaking movies. Henry Cavil was great too but Reeve is the best to me.
I was 7 years old when this came out and it was amazing to me, now you can see how limited they were to what they could do. Had to cut around a lot of stuff, resort to miniature work.
From Superman 1 to 3, so many super powers did not bring forward to new series, such as The Flash, Man of Steel and Superman vs Batman. This Superman is 100% more powerful than the Superman in Superman vs Batman.
Superman 1&2 are just 1 movie. Like LOTR! Superman 1&2 to me is better than any modern Superhero movie to date, even Endgame! The effects are groundbreaking at the time, but that is not what makes them forever. What makes them timeless classics is the Story, Acting, Music, and the Heart of these 2 movies!!!! Superman 3&4 are money grabs and I do like Superman 3 but it is not at the same level as 1&2, superman 4 is just a s-show.
You know what’s interesting? Superman 2 and Raiders of the Lost Ark came out in 1981, but the special effects for Raiders look so much better, even after so long, whilst here, things look clunky.

God requires five things from those who follow Him: true faith, true obedience, complete obedience, true knowledge, and sincere respect. When God makes any demands on you, or tests you, judges you, deals with and punishes you, or disciplines and hurts you, you must be completely obedient to Him. Your obedience must be absolute. And so, I want to tell you that, in the knowledge of the people that God desired, God not only requires that you know God and His words, but that your knowledge of God is correct. Because God hates the honor and praise of Him by people who are not truthful and not thought out. The last of those five requests is sincere respect. This is God's last requirement of all who follow Him. When a person has the right and true knowledge of God, they are able to truly respect God and stay away from evil. This respect comes from the bottom of their hearts, and it is voluntary, and not because God forced them. Now consider those five requirements: Are any of you capable of achieving the first three? KNOWING GOD is the part where PEOPLE FAIL MOSTLY. They often insist on God's sayings, sayings, and words that have nothing to do with Him, believing that these words are the most accurate definitions of God's knowledge. They do not know that these sayings, which come from the fictions of men, their own reasoning, and their own intelligence, have not the slightest relation to the spirit of God. And so, I WANT to TELL you that, in the KNOWLEDGE of the PEOPLE GOD WANTS, not only does GOD DEMAND that you KNOW GOD and His WORDS, but that your KNOWLEDGE of GOD is CORRECT. Even if you can only say one sentence, or have only a little awareness, this little awareness is correct and true, and appropriate to the spirit of God Himself. 🙏
Because GOD HATES HONORS and PRAISES to Him by PEOPLE who are UNREAL and NOT THINKING. More than that, He HATED it when PEOPLE CONSIDERED HIM LIKE THE WIND. This RESPECT COMES FROM DEEP IN THEIR HEARTS, and it is voluntary, and not because God forced them. God does not ask you to make an offering of any good attitude, or behavior, or outward attitude to Him; rather, He asks that you respect Him and fear Him from the bottom of your heart. God's Requirements for Mankind... KNOWING GOD is the part where PEOPLE FAIL MOSTLY. They often insist on God's sayings, sayings, and words that have nothing to do with Him, believing that these words are the most accurate definitions of God's knowledge. They do not know that these sayings, which come from the fictions of men, their own reasoning, and their own intelligence, have not the slightest relation to the spirit of God. And so, I WANT to TELL you that, in the KNOWLEDGE of the PEOPLE GOD WANTS, not only does GOD DEMAND that you KNOW GOD and His WORDS, but that your KNOWLEDGE of GOD is CORRECT. Even if you can only say one sentence, or have only a little awareness, this little awareness is correct and true, and appropriate to the spirit of God Himself. 🙏
Because GOD HATES HONORS and PRAISES to Him by PEOPLE who are UNREAL and NOT THINKING. More than that, He HATED it when PEOPLE CONSIDERED HIM LIKE THE WIND. He hates it when, during the discussion of subjects about God, people speak disrespectfully, speak simply and without hesitation, speak whenever they like; however, He hates those who believe they know theGod, and boasts about the knowledge of God, discussing topics about God without restraint or pretense. 🛑
The LAST of those FIVE REQUESTS is SINCERE RESPECT. This is the LAST thing that GOD requires of ALL who FOLLOW Him. When a PERSON HAS CORRECT and TRUE KNOWLEDGE of GOD, they CAN TRULY RESPECT GOD and AWAY FROM EVIL. 🙏🌹

Great movie
I was in High School when I got a summer job at the local movie theater. Back then [1981], it was vert common for one movie to play at a theater all summer long. Why? Because there wasn't the shear volume of movies available today. So we -the stoner staff- would smoke weed and snort cross-tops [the old style speed where you'd have to remove the little black time releases] to pass the time. And after seeing the movie so many damn times, we memorized the lines and we'd sit way in the back at the top of the theater and speak the dialogue. Some days I'd be Superman, other days I'd be someone else

I believe most people would definitely say yes. Because the truths of what Job acted and declared cannot be denied by any person or even Satan. These are the MOST POWERFUL EVIDENCE of Job's VICTORY AGAINST SATAN. This PROOF was MADE to Job, and was the FIRST TESTIMONY RECEIVED by GOD. 🙏
Because of this, when Job SUCCEEDED AGAINST SATAN'S TEMPTATIONS and was ABLE to TESTIFY to GOD, GOD saw HOPE in Job, and Job GAVE His HEART PEACE. There were 2 powers in superman 2 I've never seen superman or any other kryptonians use anywhere else. The power beams coming from their index fingers and the ability to project/teleport themselves. Then in a directors cut there was a deleted scene where somehow superman destroys the fortress of solitude by looking at it. Always loved these classic superman movies.
Christopher Reeve was the best superman ever in my opinion mostly because I grew up with him as superman in these groundbreaking movies. Henry Cavil was great too but Reeve is the best to me.

Superman 1&2 are just 1 movie. Like LOTR! Superman 1&2 to me is better than any modern Superhero movie to date, even Endgame! The effects are groundbreaking at the time, but that is not what makes them forever. What makes them timeless classics is the Story, Acting, Music, and the Heart of these 2 movies!!!! Superman 3&4 are money grabs and I do like Superman 3 but it is not at the same level as 1&2, superman 4 is just a s-show.
A good example of a sequel being better than the original. Empire Strikes Back is another.
